More eyes on your home

According to a study by Deloitte Digital, consumers are 29 percent more likely to make a purchase if they scouted the product on social media that day, and Hubspot states that consumers are 71 percent more likely to make a purchase based on a social media referral.

Vacasa’s social media posts are curated to inspire wanderlusters to click, and the results speak for themselves.

In July 2017, 21,738 people were directed to Vacasa’s website through social media.

Not only are a significant number of guests directed to the Vacasa website through social media, but they also tend to spend more time browsing through home listings. According to our data, potential guests who come to Vacasa.com through social media stay on the site 13% longer than those referred by other means. The longer someone stays on the site, the more likely they are to book!

Paid ads give an extra boost

Paid ads are set to appear to those most likely to click based on their search history. “With paid ads we can reach new audiences who are planning a vacation,” said Vacasa SEM Specialist Gillian Benoit. “New forms of ad targeting allow us to reach potential guests based on the activities that interest them, or the specific needs they have of a vacation rental.”

In late 2016 we ran a paid ad campaign for the Fredericksburg Oktoberfest and saw significant engagement with potential guests and an increase in traffic to the Fredericksburg page on Vacasa.com.

Like a paid ad, a post on social media can go a long way in driving more traffic toward your listing. One recent Facebook post featuring a home in Sea Ranch, California reached 14,933 people and 2,865 people either liked, shared, or reposted the home, giving the home amazing exposure to a huge audience.
