Dog-friendly lakefront home w/ 140 feet of waterfront, 800 sf deck, near town!

Large groups of up to 10 guests will love a lakeside stay at Helios Hills, a three-bedroom retreat on the waters of Lake Chelan. With a dog-friendly attitude, an 800-square-foot deck, 140 feet of waterfront that includes a dock, and a great location just minutes from wineries, golf courses, casinos, restaurants, and more. It'll set the stage for an incredible trip to one of Washington's premier vacation destinations!

Nestled in a private cove at the base of apple orchards, the home's location is great for both sightseeing in town and exploring the lake's north shores. Head three-and-a-half miles south for family-friendly dining at The Sunset Bar and Grill, drive 12 miles south to shop in Historic Downtown Chelan, or go a half-mile farther from downtown for all ages fun at Slidewaters Waterpark.

Wide picture windows with impressive lakefront views beautifully compliment cabin decor and plush furnishings in the classic A-frame design of this home. Rest between all your water-themed adventures in the spacious living area, where you'll find comfortable couches for taking a nap or lounging with your group on a movie night (the room's TV features a DVD player).

With the home's western exposure, you're guaranteed plenty of sunshine, so head outside to soak up the sun-drenched views. Your options include a downstairs dock that extends out into the lake and an upstairs deck and patio with lounge chairs and a glass-top table that makes a great place for an al fresco meal.

Speaking of dining, you'll find everything you need to whip up homemade meals in the open-concept kitchen, which features modern appliances, assorted cookware, and ample countertops. When it's best to dine indoors, there's even seating at a six-seat table nearby. And don't worry about lengthy cleanups - a dishwasher takes care of it all.

Afterward, continue the group activities with a game of cornhole outside, or pull out some board games and puzzles for a fun-filled evening indoors. The home's backyard is even fenced-in so that you can let your dogs run around (up to two are welcome with a small nightly fee). You could also bait a fishing line and cast right off the dock, then toss your fresh catch on the deck's gas grill for a tasty barbecue.

When it's time to call it a day, retreat to any of three bedrooms on two floors. Up to 10 guests are accommodated in all. The main floor's master suite features its own full bathroom and the second bathroom is split between the upstairs two bedrooms.

Wake with a fresh cup of coffee in the kitchen, then get ready for a new day of adventures. Head south for a walk along the waterfront followed by a picnic at Chelan Riverwalk Park, or lace up some sturdy boots for a hike in the hills overlooking Chelan. On the way back home, grab a meal at the locally owned Northshore Cafe, or pull up a seat at any of the sports bars in Manson.

You could also rent boats, jet skis, inner tubes, and more at Shoreline Watercraft and Boat Rental, or spend the day sampling acclaimed vintages at over a dozen wineries in the area.

Winter visitors will love the area's options, too, which include skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and other snow sports at Echo Valley Ski Area (13 miles north), plus special events in downtown Chelan.

Come get a front-row seat to the beauty of Lake Chelan - reserve your dates at this lakefront home today!

We would recommend to a friend. It's cozy, but fun.

Great To be right on the water, and a wonderful view of the hills.

If you have a dog, you cannot ask for a better spot to vacation. The lot is large enough to play fetch and completely fenced in (with lake on one side).
The house does not smell of dog and is very clean. The upstairs is all beds with 2 rooms that can be closed-door with an additional bed in the open loft. Another bedroom downstairs.
Oil and spices were available (contrary to other reviews).
The view, amazing. Grab a book and your morning joe and sit in the large deck to watch the boats or enjoy the silence.
Highly recommend.

This was the perfect house and location for our group. The house was comfortable, clean, and well stocked. No A/C, but we spent almost all of our the time outside anyway. The house and area of the lake was pretty quiet - the neighbors were all gone during the weekdays. We spent most of our time swimming and jumping off the dock. Would definitely book this house again!

Wonderful stay, all the ammentities, great location, amazing dock and view!

Loved the view from this cabin, and it sleeps quite a few people (10) which is great AND allows dogs... however, the furniture was deteriorating and super stained and it looks like the owners do not care to maintain. There is no wifi which is okay if you have reception but most of us did not so if there was an emergency we would have been out of luck.

Also- the upstairs bathroom would only really work for short people/kids b/c it is wedged in the roof so you hit your head if you are not careful and there is only one shower which is kind of rough when you have a large group (sleeps 10).

Very hard to to get here, super remote and you have to go down a lot of switchbacks to get here! Again, beautiful views which were amazing but it was a very steep and if was snowing you might be stuck.

Really no storage for food, and just everything was extremely old. This was good for a quick girls trip but I would never stay here for a family vacation or a longer stay then a weekend.
Manager response:
The owner is having the sofa cushions recovered. The A frame style of the home does make the upper floor ceiling have some low angles. That is apparent in the photos. This home will not be open in the winter months because of the road and snow concerns. The kitchen is a good size and has all the amenities needed. The property manager will speak with the owner about finding a way to provide some more food storage space. This home is geared for people that want to be out on the lake enjoying the outdoors. In our eyes, the remote location, water access, and beautiful views are worth giving up a few little luxuries. Thank you!

House was a little difficult to find, and a little tight for a pickup on the switchbacks. My family stayed in the fall. Because of that, a lot of the lake attractions were unavailable to us, but no matter. The deck and view were second to none. Absolutely beautiful! The furnishings in the house were a bit dated but very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the wife had everything she needed there. House was equipped with lots of board games we played as a family. Finding a vacation house that allows pets is difficult, but this was an amazing place for my dog. Lab Heaven! He was in the water about 90% of our stay.
Neighbors were friendly, and it felt like a very safe spot. I’ll be staying here again in the future, and I would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone.

Great location on the lake with a dock to moor your boat overnight. Main deck is spacious and perfect for sitting in the sun and entertaining. there is a newer grill for cooking and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Plenty of outdoor space for Fido and the kids to run around. Furniture needs to be updated and finishings are older but the price reflects this.

Located on a calm part of the lake. Great private dock & shared launch ramp (not recommended for large watercraft. Tight turn & angle for a full sized trailer). Nice place to stay for a few days or longer. Vacasa was easy to deal with and great with communication.

Overall this property was beautiful! Getting to the location was a little confusing, and it's about 20 minute drive to Chelan. There is a deck and dock right on the water which was perfect. Served the purpose for my group, and I would stay again! Some areas of the home are a little cramped- but if you aren't looking to cook a bunch and just be on the water- it's perfect!

The road getting down to the rental was super narrow, but then again we had 2 Tundras driving through. Easily do-able with sedans. Right as you pull onto the property, you see the deck and the DECK WAS AMAZING!! The view from the deck is stunning! Our party caught well over 20 fishes right off the upper deck. Dinner on the deck, breakfast on the deck, lunch on the deck. Basically we were out there a lot! Swimming area below is a bit rough, lots of rocks...SHARP rocks. Our little ones were in there for 10mins max before the waves started getting rough. Lots of boats and jet skis coming through. Toilets were SUPER slow to flush. Both bathrooms had more than enough towels to accommodate our party of 10. Kitchen provided everything we needed and more!

Although, the place had no A/C, it is well equipped with LOTS and LOTS of fans in each room. The breeze coming through the back deck doors helped a lot too in 90 degree weather. Couches in the living room were outdated and already falling apart, but SOOOO COMFY! Needs movies that are more kid friendly, all of them were more for adults and "boring" as stated by my 4 year old lol.

Parking area is HUGE, lots of space for parking. There were keys to a private boat launch, but we couldn't figure out where it was. Vascas's property manager was awesome to work with and very prompt if we had questions.

Overall, it was a great property for us and will definitely be back soon!

We loved our stay in this cozy family home!

The place gets a little getting used to. If your tall you do a lot of ducking. Toilets take awhile to flush. Style is 70's... we think. But overall none of it mattered because we were on the water and with friends, so we had a blast!
