Stayed at Silver Queen for most of two weeks in August, 2017. Vacasa actually gave a "last-minute" discount that made the price even better than was advertised, so that was certainly nice.
The unit was clean and neat, most furniture was adequate, kitchen is well-stocked with dishes/cookware/utensils, etc. Good location to Silverthorne, Frisco, Breckinridge, hiking, etc. Can't complain about being a little higher up from the main part of town — good view, removed from busier areas, but easy/quick access to town by car.
Cost vs. hotel was VERY good, as long as staying for at least several nights, and during a cheaper time of the year. Guessing that — at the moment — I'd mainly recommend during hiking season vs. ski season. I also happened to land this unit last-minute, which makes me very happy with what we got. With more research in advance, I see that there are also some other very nice VRBO units in the area that should also compete with it. If some of the negatives below are addressed reasonably well, then I would also gladly raise my recommendation to year-round use and without reservation. :)
A futon bed in one room is broken and won't collapse back to proper upright/couch position, so it had been propped in 1/2-open position against wall, marring the paint. (If left fully-open into bed position, it would leave no walking space between itself and a bunk bed that shares the room.)
Hinges on doors desperately need lubrication! Can't even sneak to bathroom in middle of the night without waking others up.
Bed in master bedroom is very creaky and shaky. If more than one person in the bed, and one person moves even slightly, the other WILL wake up.
No curtains in the living room! Don't plan to nap/sleep in the LR, as the light will come blazing in plenty early. And don't walk around in skivvies, unless you want to risk your neighbors on their balconies to know you really well.
It says "sleeps 7." Ummm... That's pushing it. I wouldn't count the couch in LR, because no curtains. Futon is broken and rickety. So I'd stick with saying just the master BR and bunks. If ONE moves in the master bed, then BOTH will be awake. Bunks might sleep 2 people per level, so maybe 4 in them? But hope no one has to keep getting up in middle of the night, or ALL will be awake. I'd maybe say "RECLINES 6, and 2-3 sleep well at a time." Plus, if there were 7 people, there would be exploded suitcases all over the place. I wouldn't plan on 7, if I could help it. Unless you are a family with 5 kids who get along very well. That might work fine.
No instructions for TV/cable/auxiliary/remote. No info on where the coin-op shared laundry is. Figured these things out, but would have been nice for someone simply to type it up and provide a laminated instruction sheet to be waiting on the kitchen counter when guests arrive. No one wants to spend their time guessing around with the TV controls or running all around the property looking for a door to a laundry room. Still don't even know what one of the keys was for on the keyring. Only one seemed to fit the condo's door.
. . . . .
OK, that sounds like a lot of negatives. They ARE things that I would like owner/managers to take care of; however, I DO want to say that, overall, it's a nice unit. We enjoyed coming back to this place, and it was far better than cramming several people into a little hotel room to save on cost. If coming back (with 2-4 max people, which actually makes it very affordable at the price I had) to Silverthorne/Frisco/Breckenridge area again for several days during hiking season, then I'd be perfectly happy at Silver Queen! And if some of the issues (especially ones that can really impact very important sleep) could be addressed, then I'd highly recommend this unit for any time of year, including when price goes up seasonally. :)

We loved the location! Stayed here over Spring Break and it was the perfect landing spot for us after long days at Copper Mountain. Would stay again. Only downside was no hot tub, but we knew that going in. Very clean and modern.
We loved spending our vacation here. Such a beautiful location with the lake and bike trails and restaurants and shopping. Breckenridge and Vail are fun to visit even in the summer. The condo was quiet, clean and well- equipped for a good time. We'll be back!
Katie and David's condo is in close proximity to many major resorts. They made the booking process a breeze and were easy to communicate with. The view is stellar, the condo is clean and cozy with all described amenities - can't ask for more. I look forward to staying again!
This condo was perfect for a couples skiing weekend! We loved that it was just a short drive away from the slopes - it was wonderful having this spacious place and cozy fireplace to come home to after a long day of skiing. The mountain views from the balcony were gorgeous, the kitchen was perfect for making breakfast in the morning, and there was plenty of room for the four of us to be comfortable all weekend long. We absolutely loved our weekend stay and we will definitely be back again soon!
