The setting at Bee Tree II is beautiful -very private and wooded. We enjoyed the house as well. The furniture , bedding, and flooring are clearly new and very nice. Highly recommend!

We booked this place last minute and it was the only thing available. The price is fine but just a little tired. It’s obviously just for renters—no personal touches. Dock gets about 30 minutes of sunshine so couldn’t spend much time there. Bring your own beach towels. Overall, Bee Tree II is a good bet for a Deep Creek long weekend

We choose this house for its location and easy access to the lake which we took fully advantage of it. However, the house itself is not ideal. First of all the floor is dirty (dirty carpet and slimy kitchen and bathroom floor) which make us all very uncomfortable. Furniture is also outdated and uncomfortable. There are some minor issues with the bathroom (broken shower curtain, leaky toilet (clean water), hard to use shower handle valve) Although kitchen is not updated, it is spacious for 2-3 people and plenty of counter top space. The floor seems pretty thin. When someone is showering in the upstairs bathroom, it sounds like rain storm come through in the room below it. Dehumidifier would help too.
The house is a bit small for 10 (we have 6 adults and 4 little kids). It wasn't too much an issue for us but if you have 10 adults this place would definitely be too small.
Hi Yahtyng, we’re so glad that you enjoyed the home’s close proximity to the lake. Our apologies that the property was not prepared to our standards before your arrival and that the furniture was uncomfortable. You’ll be happy to know that the owner has renovated the home’s interior with new flooring, bedding and furniture. Even the bathroom was modified also. We hope you will come and visit us again. Thank you.

Loved the location on the Lake, which was in a nice little cove.
The view was calming and true.
The close proximity to various things for the family to do, including dining, hiking, bicycle trails, boating, made the decisions easy.

Came here for a ski weekend with friends and we had a great time. There is plenty of space in the house and it was furnished with everything we needed. My only complaints were limited hot water and limited cleaning supplies, but those were relatively minor issues that didn't affect our stay at all. Other than that, the proximity to the lake and Wisp mountain, the feel of the home, and the overall experience made this an incredible stay. Thank you!

Once we actually found the place we really enjoyed our weekend. We didn't leave the house. I would definitely come back!

We very much enjoyed how woodsy and private the house felt. Liked the fire pit. We would stay here again but have some ways the house could be improved. There was no marking at the head of the driveway indicating the house number. We missed it as did our guests. The living room chairs are not very comfortable, some new cushions would help. The grill was unusable, would definitely not eat food cooked on it.
As I say, overall we enjoyed the house. I mention these things not to be critical but to let the owners know some simple ways they can improve their house.

I stayed at the Bee Tree II with my family for a week in September. The house was big enough for 8 adults, a todler and an infant. We took turns cooking big meals in the kitchen, which was stocked with giant bowls and platters, crock pot, hand mixer, cocktail shaker and blender. We used the grill a couple nights for dinner and it worked great. There are 4 chairs we put out with our own to sit around the bonfire. The hill down to the dock is easy to navigate, no stairs, but the porch is just as nice to sit on. We brought our own paddleboards with us but the lake is hard to navigate with boat traffic. The large windows in the great room make rainy days bearable. I would def stay here again.
The house was a great place for our family reunion. Everyone enjoyed. The kitchen was well equipped. The combined dining and living rooms were spacious and looked out on the very large deck which had a beautiful view down to the lake. All the bedrooms and sleeping areas worked out well for our group. The surrounding area was quiet. The only visitor was a baby bear, which our neighbors, who were full time residents, said was hanging around all summer. It was cute and posed no threat. We had one plumbing issue. All three toilets leaked a small amount of water occasionally, but not consistently. The office was informed when we checked out. All in all we had a great week. The people in the office were nice, too, while booking, checking in and checking out.

Stayed here over President's Day weekend '13. We picked this property because it was pet friendly. We were a little hesitant because there weren't a lot of pictures to go on. This is a gorgeous cabin and in a great location. You can see the lake from the porch, and it's only a ten minute drive to the mountain. The setup was great, and fully outfitted for cooking and relaxing. The only thing I would say is that this property is not equipped with anything good electronically. We did not come here to watch tv, but it would have been nice if the cable box worked properly and if there was a better tv. Make sure you bring your own stereo as well. Overall, our group had a great time, and it was nice to bring the dog for a change!

Cons: -no wi-fi (I didn't care but it drove the kids crazy) -clean overall but the dead bugs really need to be cleaned out of the light fixtures -basement unfinished -TV could be bigger for rainy days Pros: -nice property -comfortably sleeps 10 -great dock Bee Tree II is a great place if you are looking for the bare necessities. I liked it but if you are looking for a lavish rental, this is probably not your best choice.

I really enjoyed the stay at 198-BeeTree. I really don't have many things that I would have changed about the service. Everything was very accomodating.
