Experience the natural majesty of the Oregon Coast at this one-bedroom Yachats retreat, where you'll enjoy gorgeous oceanfront views, direct access to a beach below, and a wondrous location for hiking, whale-watching, and taking scenic drives.
This home occupies the ground floor of a duplex eight miles south of downtown Yachats, where it shares its blufftop property with four other buildings. Here in the midst of Siuslaw National Forest, you can follow the steep trail down to the beach (with tides that can turn dangerous at times), hop on 101 for an easy drive to Cape Perpetua or Ten Mile Creek, and observe passing whales, elk, and bald eagles in their natural habitat.
The living space has been entirely remodeled, offering views of the ocean, free WiFi, and plentiful natural light. When you're not dining out in Yachats, you can prepare simple meals in the kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster oven, and waffle iron (but no stove), and watch unforgettable sunsets from the top of the ocean bluffs. Please note that the upstairs studio is available to rent as well, as is the entire two-level Gate House.
