Gorgeous view, spacious, comfortable, convenient to local attractions, this condo was everything we could have wanted and more. Cute decor and supplies made us feel at home, cleanup was a breeze and easy garbage drop. Quiet. Rules are easy to follow. My dog loved it!
Overall this unit was exactly what it is described to be. It was clean, comfortable and a great value. I had no issues that required any attention so I had no interaction with the management but we were please to find a reasonably priced, pet friendly unit. We would not hesitate to stay in this unit again if the opportunity comes up.
Super cute room with a great view! We loved staying here and would definitely do it again!
This condo was very roomy, well furnished, had a great bed, and kitchen with plenty of supplies (pots, pans, silverware, etc). There were aspects of it that showed signs of age and need of cosmetic repair. The curtains had holes, the woodwork needed some minor repair/paint, and many of the electric sockets didn't work. Besides that though, we'd book it again as the price was more affordable than other places.
We appreciate the guests feedback. Unfortunately, we had previous guests who damaged the curtains, new ones have been ordered. The owner will be doing some remodeling in September. The bottom outlet works once the switch is turned on and we will check to make sure the top one is in working condition.
This was a great condo. Not too fancy, but perfect for us. The view was worth every $ and we loved spending time at the pool. The beach was an easy walk, and the optional chair and tent set up on the sand was $30 a day, so it makes for an easy vacation. The only thing we never found was the DVD player, but we managed to survive just fine! We would go back again!
Overall this was a great place to spend a vacation. The view from this room is amazing, overlooking the gulf from the balcony and the bay from the front door. We watched both sunrise and sunset from the room. The grounds and amenities are well maintained and it was quiet (we were not there during a peak season). The beach is just a minute away across the boardwalk from the resort.
The room numbering scheme is a little wonky. The first digit is the tower... that was easy to figure out. The next two digits are the floor... sort of. The ground floor units are all start with 30 and the second floor all start with 32. This unit starts with 31 but there didn't seem to be any rooms with that number. It took a while to realize that we had to go to the 11th floor. And even the guard thought our room was on the first floor. So a little renumbering of the rooms could save some frustration. Or at least tell us what floor the room is on in the check-in instructions.
Beyond that there were some minor problems but nothing that bothered us too much. The GFI outlets in the bathrooms were out and we could not reset them (had to use the hair dryer in the living room). And one of the burners on the stove didn't work.
But we would absolutely stay here again when we make our way down to the island in the future.
Great location and great views
It was our first visit to South Padre Island, TX. Overall was good vacation, warm water in gulf, nice and beautiful white sand beach. Room was good, everything on kitchen what you need. Doesn't have any place to make own barbecue. Laundry on the floor you have to pay by quarters $2.00 for washer and $2.00 for dryer.
Bed was comfortable, king size. Towels, etc. good and new.
VIEW VIEW VIEW!!! GREAT VIEW FROM PATIO ON THE GULF OF MEXICO. LOVE THAT!!!
Pros- view, balcony, nice complex w several pools and hot tubs, pool side bar and grill, beach chair and umbrella rentals, well stocked kitchen, open floor plan, a comfortable condo, affordable rate
Cons- strong mildew smell, ants, ceiling in master bath needs to be repaired
Overall a nice place, not super luxury, pretty middle of the road.
