Sammy checked us in and was sweet funny and knowledgeable. The room was gorgeous with a Key West flavor and very classy with eco products! Homemade breakfast was yummy and the pool was cute. Location was far enough from the action that it wasn't loud, but close enough to walk. Looking forward to our next stay.
Our room was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. We saw most of the museums, historical sights, and went out on the water every day or evening for some activity. Restaurants were close as was the wharf where most of the charters went out. Also we were very close to a Kermit’s chocolate covered frozen Key Lime Pie slice on a stick (we highly recommend these!!!) We would stay there again. And Travis, our concierge, was the best, very helpful and friendly. Enjoy. 😃
We loved that we were able to walk or scooter everywhere. Just a few blocks off of Duval st and close to the Loop. (free bus) Room was clean and comfortable. Common area and pool are pretty small but kept clean! Travis the Inn keeper was very helpful when we reach out for information!! Thanks Travis!!
We stayed in the Writers room~
close to downtown, great value.
Unless you want to have to wake up early and move the car because of church services that share parking that is. If we would have known we would not have chosen to stay here.
We hope this guest enjoyed their stay. The church does ask that we have our guests vacate between 9am and 2pm on Sundays. There is also street parking available and paid parking through Vacasa. Thanks!
Close to everything, but the quiet. The property is rundown and needs at least a good paint job. Attention to details is needed. Motion lights on a dark path didn't work correctly. The pool area needs a deep clean. The room was a bit rough around the edges. The frig in our room froze some of our food. Travis is a friendly and helpful host.
I stayed here 7 years ago and it was such a good experience I came back. Location is as good as you can get on Key West! 2 blocks behind Sloppy Joes & 2 blocks from the wonderful restaurants by the harbor. The rooms were even better than I had remembered. Hardwood floors, marble I'm the bathroom and a sleep number bed. I will be back!
This was our first time staying in a B&B and our first time in Key West. Overall it was a fantastic trip. Parking wasn't easy to find, but once we did, our car stayed there until we left to go back home. The B&B was in a great location for walking to everything you'd want to see.
We were very disappointed with the current rundown condition of this guest house. We are repeat guests. Amenities were severely lacking and the overall condition of the exterior environment is poor and in need of significant attention.
We have hired a new innkeeper who is doing an excellent job maintaining the grounds, and the owner has upgraded the pool and repaired the leak. Thank you!
The location of this place is perfect. (Especially if you happen to be coming from Key West Express or going to Key West theatre) either way it's close enough to all the sites but also enough of a distance away to where you can still have a very peaceful night and get a lot of relaxation in!
The staff was super friendly and helpful and went out of there way to accommodate us whenever needed. The pool area was great as well. We were able to enjoy plenty of shade if needed but also plenty of areas to bathe in the sun. The breakfast was also a very nice plus! I would recommend this room to anyone going to KW.
The location and peace are the best. The service could be better.
Location, location, location
I found the property, located in a neighborhood - to be perfectly matched w/ my preferences - I prefer vacation lodging nestled in a community over a large impersonal hotel. The property was fairly well maintained - could use some updating & repairs. The location/proximity to all the wonderful activities & experiences in Key West was perfect! Highly reccommend The Garden Inn property.
Room was fine. Lodgings are basic but clean and cared for
GREAT location, nice clean rooms and a lovely breakfast available
This was such a beautiful room in an EXCELLENT location. Once we parked the car, we never needed to use it again. Duval Street, Mallory Square, any thing we wanted to do in Key West was walkable. Overall atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous. Key West is filled with fun and all the bars, but even with how close we were to all the fun, our home always felt peaceful and more laid back, which was great! I have no criticism for this spot. I was absolutely blown away.
