Beautiful, peaceful and quiet!! If you like that you will love this place. It’s great house, awesome master bedroom downstairs. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook almost anything plus a grill. Perfect for steaks. It’s a tough ride up because how dangerous highway 74 is. Well worth it though the views up and down the mountain are breathtaking. We even saw a huge Big Horn Sheep ( RAM ) big beautiful horns run ten feet in front of our car. Which was cool we also didn’t hit a rock mountain or fall 1,500 feet of a cliff which are your only options on that road. You are driving up a 10,000 foot mountain after all. Just drive slow and use turn outs. It’s well worth it. You will see what I mean. It’s the narliest road I ever driven on. I’ve been to South America and Europe. I don’t get anxiety driving ever and I live in Southern California. I did every time up and down the mountain. Worth it though big time!!! Loved Idyllwild the mom and pop shops and dinners. Very beautiful and peaceful place. Only thing that was off was one neighbor next door yard was a mess and cluttered with junk. Nothing you can do about that. It’s so pretty up there you don’t let something small like that effect your trip. We had a great time and very romantic too. Highly recommend this property!!
