This is such a cute property. Far enough away to be quiet and peaceful, but close enough for groceries, restaurants and antique shopping.

Great waterfront cottage, all the mod cons. Even off season, we could easily live here a month. Best accessed by a vehicle with a modicum of ground clearance, but most factory suspensions should be OK.
Beautiful views, abundant wildlife.

The house is fantastic! The views are priceless! Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is provided. We weren't there long enough to use the washer/ dryer, but it is definitely a nice option for a longer stay. We couldn't get the fireplace to work, but didn't really need it.

Just be careful. The road down to the house is a bit treacherous. You will definitely be better with a car that isn't low to the ground.

Our family of 5 stayed here for 3 nights in the middle of a week long New England tour. While we were on the go most days, the cabin was a wonderful respite to regroup and relax. The cabin was secluded, quiet, clean and modern, well stocked and in a great location to visit nearby seaside cities. Our boys loved fishing off the dock and watching bald eagles with the binoculars. The view is amazing and there’s a great patio outside, but unfortunately no seating or fire pit to enjoy it. Overall, it fit our family’s needs during our travels.
Manager response:
We are so glad you enjoyed this cabin! We do apologize the firepit wasn't available during your stay. It had previously been broken and has since been replaced along with the patio furniture. We look forward to hosting you again!

The house was fantastic, full of light, clean and comfortable. Located on Merrymeeting Bay, we hauled our kayaks down the stairs to the water and had a great time fishing. Also a great jumping point between Brunswick, Portland and Boothbay. Had delicious lobster at Cameron’s only 6 miles away. Water pressure was quite minimal in the house and there was no hairdryer, but did not ruin our stay! Also, the fireplace started beeping at us until we opened it up and flipped a switch. Would highly recommend and want to return!

Beautiful view. Clean, small yet spacious cottage.

This cabin is lovely, right on the waters edge. Wild life is all around you. Kitchen is well equipped, beds slept very well and the bath is cute. The gas fireplace was a favorite feature. We will be back!

This place was a perfect place for a get a way! The warm log cabin type interior was immaculate! The kitchen was stocked and the appliances were newer. The view is AMAZING! The only thing, make sure your vehicle has 4WD or AWD if you go there in the winter or its wet, the driveway can be tough. The view and the cabin was so nice, me and my now fiancé, got engaged outside along the bank! I would go back tomorrow

Yes, we visited Maine for Spring Break. We'd been to Rockland/Camden area during Summers past and have enjoyed Maine immensely. When the question of Spring Break came up this year we decided to try Maine in March. After much searching for a great get away place we found this beautiful cabin along an inter-waterway. The layout is perfect, the cabin is appropriately stocked with cookware, linens and games. The light hardwood floors, seven large windows and modern aspects of this cabin made it feel open and inviting. Despite the 20 degree temps in the mornings the cabin was toasty warm while my wife and I sipped coffee in the mornings while watching the sun rise off the Atlantic and illuminate the ice shelfs on the inlet. The fast WiFi allowed me to remotely work during a vacation and the Netflix was a hit with our youngest. The location of this cabin in Bowdoinham is ideal. You're 47 minutes from the Portland, Maine Jetport, 22 minutes from Freeport (LL Bean's main campus) and an hour and 15-30 minutes from Rockland and Camden, respectively. The peaceful beauty of this cabin is unmatched. We will return in the Summer to experience this beautiful home in a different season. What wonderful memories were made during our stay.

Cozy cabin with pretty views! Very relaxing and quite spot! Short drive to local smelt camps was a added bonus!

A simple and beautiful cabin with exceptional views. Right on the lake, feels far away from everything but the cute towns of Maine are very easily accessible! Can't wait to go back.

I was thrilled with my stay at Eagles View. The house was extremely clean, Wifi worked well, heat worked well and the beds were comfortable. The views from the house were breathtaking and we had the pleasure of seeing a pair of bald eagles.

This cabin is simple and well stocked with everything we needed for a peaceful week by the water. The setting is beautiful, with easy access for kayaks. We will be back next year.

Comfortable, quiet, with beautiful views. If you need to unwind, this is the perfect spot. Perfect for families. Close enough to drive to some of the sights in Maine, but also perfect for doing nothing at all. The kitchen is fully-stocked so you can eat-in if you want. Some games to fill the evenings. Binoculars to let you take full advantage of the views. This was exactly what we needed in order to get away from it all for a while.

We loved staying here. It was so peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of bigger cities. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The cottage is beautifully finished, well-equipped, fresh and modern and very clean. Views are exceptional and always changing. We saw eagles, seals, fish jumping, birds fishing, and thousands of fire flies at night in the fields surrounding the home. An easy drive to Brunswick for excellent restaurants, a wonderful boat launch a short drive away, and central access to all the area has to offer. We are looking forward to our next stay at Eagles Nest!

We loved our stay. The cabin is clean and modern - this is not your grandmother’s camp! Reminded me of a Danish summerhus. We will definitely be back. The view is spectacular.

This is literally the vacation cabin I would buy or build for myself... Simple, clean, warm & functional--with killer views. 'Eagles View,' as a name, sounds somewhat contrived. But we did see a pair of eagles every day of our visit, and they did catch fish twice right in front of the cabin. (I can't say if this was luck or truly commonplace.) The cabin is ideal for a couple or small family. Probably a bit tight for two couples, unless very close friends.
Gabriel M. May 2018
Neat and clean little cabin that was plenty big enough for my wife and I along with our two kids. The view was amazing, and the wildlife phenomenal.
Rodney N. Apr 2018
Eagles view is a perfect home away from home, and you can’t get much closer to the water. We loved how new it is and very easy to keep warm in the cooler months with the heat pumps or the gas fireplace. The wood finish throughout gives it a very warm look and feel. Our son loved the fact that there was a bunk bed. We would definitely stay here again.
Anna M. Apr 2018
This cabin has an amazing view both from inside and outside with large windows in the living room and bedroom. The location was very secluded and quiet, and in no sight of neighbors. Interior was renovated and clean with a large kitchen and cozy living room. The outside grill was a plus and great place to enjoy bbq with a view. Great place for a getaway!

Stayed here with another couple for New Year's Eve weekend. The house was perfect with beautiful views. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner (pots, pans, spices, foil, oils). Close to Brunswick and Freeport for shopping and restaurants. There is a smal tv located above the fireplace, but there is no tv signal so bring a chromecast or video game for a little added entertainment while hanging in the house. Would definitely stay again at the modern yet rustic cabin, hopefully it will be warmer than 0 next time!

Our family spent Christmas weekend here, we did have snow so we had to shovel the stairs twice. But the house was spotless and exactly as pictured. The views were sooo nice, we loved watching the sunrise. Well appointed with towels, toiletries, and cooking utensils, bakeware, etc. Definitely would stay again, we had a wonderful and memorable stay.

We stayed here in early December for a long weekend and it couldn't have been more perfect. Breathtaking view, watched the sunrise each morning, and seals and Great Blue Heron from the cozy living room with warm gas fireplace. Everything is clean, new and comfortable. Perfect for a small family like ours. Conveniently located for day trips - Freeport, Boothbay Harbor (we went to the Botanical Gardens for Gardens Aglow), and all the seasonal festivities in the surrounding towns. Had a wonderful brunch in Bath. We highly recommend this little slice of heaven. We also recommend renting with Vacasa. They really have their act together. Thank you!

We had a very enjoyable experience at Eagles View. The cabin was clean and cozy. It was quiet and peaceful, we actually got to see some wildlife, like herons, seal and bald eagle!
I would highly recommend if you are looking for a private and quiet vacation. Kayaking was fun, with alot to see. Relaxing by the gas fireplace was nice for the cooler nights.
Close to shopping which was convenient.
Would definitely stay again!
