Open and dog-friendly home with forest views and two patios!
This private, cozy Cannon Beach vacation rental makes a perfect getaway for a couple or small family (and the dogs!). With two patios, a full kitchen, and wood-burning fireplace, you can enjoy all the comforts of home along with the added romance of the beautiful Oregon Coast.
This one-bedroom vacation rental is smartly designed to make the most of its space. You'll enter directly into the open living and dining area, and instantly feel at ease thanks to the warm wood tones, contemporary furnishings, and charming bistro-style artwork. There's a plush red sofa waiting for you to settle in and soak up the tree-lined views outside.
The living area opens onto the galley-style kitchen, which has updated stainless steel appliances, ample storage, and even a dishwasher for easy clean-up. You'll also find all the cooking gear, dishes, and serving utensils you might need to prepare meals or even just settle in with a pizza or takeout after a long day exploring the beach. Just outside the front door, you'll also find a charcoal barbecue, so you can enjoy some freshly grilled steaks or burgers on a warm summer evening.
There's a four-person dining table in this space as well, along with a 42-inch flat-screen TV with cable and DVD player. There's also complimentary wireless Internet provided. If you feel like leaving electronics out of the equation, grab a board game and spread out at the table for some unplugged action.
At the end of the night, the spacious bedroom beckons you with its comfortable queen bed, wood-burning fireplace, and an additional flatscreen TV so you won't miss your favorite late-night talk show. The bedroom also has a lovely seating area near the window, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine with a good book. Best of all, though, a private door opens onto the rear patio, which is surrounded by tall trees and feels quite peaceful and secluded from the rest of the neighborhood.
Up to four guests can share the space comfortably, thanks to the living area's sleeper sofa. The full bath is located off the bedroom, with a walk-in shower only (no tub). And don't leave any family members at home when you come to the beach: this Cannon Beach vacation rental is dog-friendly, though a 60 pounds weight limit, a nightly fee per dog, and minimum fee per stay will apply.
Take the pooch for a run on the dog-friendly beach just across the street, or head to nearby Ecola State Park for a challenging hike. For more laid-back fun, walk just five minutes up Hemlock Street to Cannon Beach's vibrant business district, with shopping, art galleries, and dining galore. If you need to fresh up your clothes during your stay, there is a laundromat nearby.
However you choose to spend your days, you'll love making this warm and welcoming getaway your home away from home throughout your stay! A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

Clean, roomy, great location
Dorien N.Aug 2019
The only downside was the walls are a little thin and if you have noisy neighbors you can def. hear them. But close to town and beach and just a fabulous little spot!
Bryce W.Jun 2019
This cottage was exactly as the photos portrayed it. Great space space for a couple, enough for a family of 3 or maybe 4, tight but workable for two adult couples who know each other well. Kitchen etc well appointed and stocked. Charcoal bbq. Location is very handy to walk to the main village, and the secondary social part of Cannon Beach, and to the beach itself.
Tiffany J.May 2019
The location could not be any better! So close to restaurants at both ends of cannon Beach and super close to Haystack rock!!
Such a cute quaint little place perfect for a weekend trip.

Convenience to the beach and a well provided place to stay. Very comfortable and will go again.
Just ask that dish tabs be provided for dishwasher 😊
Shawn K.Apr 2018
This spot is right in the middle of the main drag through Cannon Beach, which is Hemlock Street. It's not ocean front, but it's about as close as you can get. Just walk across the street and stroll down to the beach. Great restaurants and the usual shops are all a short walk away in either direction. The condo itself was immaculate, everything worked, and it had a wood burning fireplace. Make sure to stop at the local store to get wood and kindling, because none is provided.
Suite 7 is dog friendly, so that was a big plus. Perfect retreat in Cannon Beach for me & my dog to relax and have fun for a few days.
KATHRYN M.Mar 2018
Walk everywhere. Beach is half block, down town half mile. If you like to walk and want to park and go, this place is well located and if you have dogs it's a snap to take those early morning/late night pee runs around the neighborhood.
Rick L.Feb 2018
It was a cold winter weekend retreat. Quiet, comfortable, and convenient.
Nelson P.Nov 2017
Very pleasant and well kept location.
Jennifer D.Nov 2017
Loved staying in Cannon Beach. This unit was in a perfect location. Very easy to walk every where. Wonderful cafes, breweries and restaurants just a short walk away. As well as just a few steps from the beach!
Sonia S.Sep 2017
Great location for walking to breakfast, the beach and the shoppes. We both
enjoyed our stay for a week and would stay there again.
Beckey B.Aug 2017
Cannon Beach is a great place to spend the weekend. Lots to see and do.
Jane M H.Aug 2017
The location is great for walking to amenities but the noise from other people staying above is annoying. You can hear bathroom sounds in addition to the LOUD flushing noises from above. Guests above weren't discourteous but it was kind of disgusting nevertheless. We left a day early.
Nancy H.Aug 2017
Great place that was a block away to Cannon Beach's amazing beach.
Pamela C.Aug 2017
This place meets the needs to stay and enjoy the beauty of cannon beach. Plumbing is loud and you can hear them peeing upstairs especially loud at night. Sleeper sofa is only comfortable for one guest. Shower space is tight.
Bryan J.Aug 2017
You won't find a better location. Four blocks from downtown and one block from the beach.
Scott M.Jul 2017
No complaints. Clean. Comfy. Close to beach and town. Will stay there again.

Write your review hereThank you for a great place.
Next time we need a place in North cannon. Tried to find one but was unable to.
My mother in law has bad knees.
It was very crowded to drive and park.
I didn't know the area well enough to ask for North or south cannon.
Thank you for your hospitality
Eric O.Jun 2017
We had a wondering stay at the cottage. Great location, right in the middle of the main drag walking distance to the south and north end. The south end had a few coffee shops and the Pelican Brewing Co. The north end had more restaurants, grocery store, and other shops. The cottage fit our needs with a 2 year old. We could hear a dog running around upstairs but not really an issue. We would recommend staying at this location.
Andrew L.May 2017
This cottage is walking distance from everything you want to do in Cannon Beach. Head out your door to the left for the Pelican Brewery, to your right for the Pig n Pancake and shopping area, or straight ahead right onto the sandy beach!
Michelle V.May 2017
I loved the little space we had - it was perfect for the two of us. It is just big enough for a couple and small children. Of course, everyone is different. The location is great and you get a lot for not a lot of money.
Michelle C.May 2017
Great spot for a little getaway! Walls were thin and you could hear everything upstairs but that didn't bother us!
David F.Apr 2017
clean and good rates
Elise B.Apr 2017
For the most part we were very pleased with this place. It was very clean, nicely decorated, comfy bed and had most everything you'd need. WIFI was the biggest disappointment. It cut out every night of our 5 night stay. The shower is by far the smallest we'd ever seen. Definitely couldn't shave your legs in it! And the walls are pretty thin so you may want to be prepared with white noise if you're a light sleeper.
Leeann C.Apr 2017
This was our first trip to the coast in a long time. We loved the condo we had. It was small..but there was just the 2 of us...so it was perfect. It was close to down town cannon beach. The beach was just across the street. The only down side to our trip was that it rained everyday, not just a little, it RAINED. But we can't control Mother Nature. We took day trips to Tillamook to the airplane museum and to the cheese factory. Then to Astoria and saw the Astoria column and a meratime museum. There is a ship wreck at Stevens state park...also check out fort Clatsup. Lots of history about Lewis and Clark here. We also found a restaurant 20 some miles back up the road going towards Portland It was a huge log cabin based around logging. Lots of chainsaw art. We had breakfast there..it was great.
Britt K.Nov 2016
Would recommend it to anyone and would stay there again.
Laura N.Nov 2016
This was just what we were looking for in our vacation! Great dog friendly place to stay. Very easy access to the beach and downtown. Would stay here again! Perfect for couples, would be very crowded for more than 2 people

Nice place, comfortable and closed to beach accesible to everything. Staff called to check on my during storm, I was alone there it was nice to know that they care.
Brian W.Oct 2016
Very nice little unit. Clean and tidy and well appointed. Fell asleep on a stormy night to a flickering fire in the fireplace. Very good location- easy walk to beach and downtown. Will stay again.

It's in my evaluation, excellent!!!
Jason K.Sep 2016
Great location and comfortable room
Tony I.Aug 2016
nice cozy convenient location to the beach and downtown. We brought our dog to enjoy our trip which was nice to see there welcoming dog basket. I had a descent stay here but don't think I'll return due to sound/noise sensitivity of the neighbors having stairs and hearing the plumbing of the showers/bathroom. It was difficult to sleep or stay asleep past 630-7am.
Julie H.Aug 2016
Enjoyed our stay! Thank you!
Matthew B.Aug 2016
spent 4 days here very nice.

We had a comfortable, restful time @ Sandpiper Pier Cottage!
Cynthia G.Apr 2016
Nice place to stay
Violeta H.Mar 2016
We had a great stay at Sandpiper Pier Cottage. The home was just a block away from the ocean in a quiet area of the main Cannon Beach strip. We loved what Vacasa did with the home space... The front room had a kitchen, a dining area and a living area. There was also a separate bedroom and a modern shower. Everything was clean with nice touches left for the guests (doggie treats, extra towels, lighter for the fireplace, etc.). Thank you!
Jenn S.Mar 2016
This was literally just a block from the beach and super close to downtown. It was well furnished, including a log in the fireplace that burned for hours. We also loved the Candyland game with my little kids! My only complain would be some pet hair on the couch and carpet. I would still recommend and visit again though!
Candis R.Mar 2016
The place is perfect for 2. The pipes from upstairs is very loud so it was hard to sleep in if those people get up early.
Montgomery F.Feb 2016
Great location. We will definitely come back.
Shelby J.Feb 2016
We had a wonderful stay here no major complaints. The place was clean, and for the price it was in great condition. Our only complaints was that there weren't any potholders, which made using the oven difficult and the blinds were a bit dusty. It is also important to note that the walls above and next door are extremely thin . I don't know if the people above/next were just being very loud, but there was constant banging. However, we didn't spend much time inside. The heat works great! Especially if you have wet shoes or socks! Great location, is on the main street, but the speed limit is 20, so it's not too loud, and we loved that we were ale to bring our dog. Restaurants are only a short walk away, overall would recommend.
Don S.Feb 2016
Very nice one bedroom. The bedroom is very large and it has a full size kitchen
Avery H.Jan 2016
Was so excited to go away for New Years, had a lovely time. Unit was nor exactly dirty, but not exactly clean either. Had to clean fireplace just to see flames, hard to find cooking stuff amidst the jumble, dusty and lots of junk behind couch, carpet smelled of urine while I tried to do yoga and might seem weird but they left a cute pet friendly basket with a note to enjoy the treat, but left no treat....just seemed like our modest unit didn't really matter. Location was stellar and unit could be good w attention to the details.
Thank you for your review. The Property Manager has been made aware of all issues experienced and has addressed them for future guests. We appreciate you sharing your feedback so we know where to make improvements. We hope to see you again!
Nichole H.Oct 2015
Close to beach and shops. Over all we had a great time and it was a nice little basket for our four legged babies:)
Daniel S.Oct 2015
Easy walk to coffee and gallerys in both directions, nice part of the beach to be closest to, easy parking, comfortable. We'd stay here again.
Katie B.Sep 2015
We will definitely be back and have already recommended Vacasa to others.
Adriana T.Aug 2015
Had everything we needed! Super dog friendly, close to beach and main strip. Loved the little home away from home.
Sarah M.Aug 2015
This property is super close to the beach, shops and good places to eat. The place was very clean and came with all essential kitchen amenities. The property has front and back porches and parking right in front of the space. It's also pet friendly with towels, bowls, and treats for your dog.
Raymond R.Jun 2015
My wife and I spent two nights in this unit. We had actually reserved a lesser unit that was a little farther from town. But, the unit needed some work so we were upgraded, free of charge, to this one. That was much appreciated. The Vacasa folks were pretty nice. We didn't do any cooking in the unit but it did seem to be well equipped if we had. The bed was especially comfortable and we enjoyed watching a movie from bed. The DVD player is in the front room, though, so bring your laptop and an HDMI cable for the bedroom. It was great to be within a very short walk of town and the beach. It makes it so easy to get out and about without the kind of planning you have to do when you have to drive in. All in all, a very nice place to stay.
Whitney G.Jun 2015
We will be back! This was our fav vaca in a long time!!! :) thank you all!!
Anita E.May 2015
The cottage by the ocean was perfect. The location was perfect, easy access to the beach and within walking distance to downtown. Would go back every year if I could.
Kristy D.Apr 2015
For the price we paid, this property met our needs and we got what was advertised. We'd definitely go back.
Oksana R.Mar 2015
It was perfect for us and close to the beach. The condo is clean and quiet and had a nice fido basket for our boxer. The only thing I can complain about is that we did not book enough nights... I want to go back.
Mark H.Sep 2014
This place was fantastic and above and beyond. SO much better than a hotel and for about the same money, or even less. The WiFi was dodgy to non-existent but seriously...we were there for the beach, not Facebook :-) I can't WAIT to come back next year and also to recommend this place to my folks!
Jason T.Aug 2014
Centrally located in Cannon Beach, just a few blocks from Pig n Pancake, Haystack Rock and downtown. One block from the beach! My family doesn't spend much time inside, so we don't want anything fancy. It had a nice kitchen and all the necessary supplies, dishwasher, two tv's, bathroom and lots of room for our stuff. Also lots of windows to get that nice breeze!
Tracy P.Jul 2014
If you aren't looking for ocean view/ocean front accommodations and are travelling with your pet, this is a great option. It is a short, one block walk to the beach and close to all of the amenities in a quiet location.
They also provide a great little basket with everything you need for your pet, towels, doggie dishes and treats!
Deanna L.Mar 2014
Was so happy with our stay. The staff was very helpful. One block from the beach and about a 5 min walk to the shops and restaurants.
