Built in 1850 and completely renovated in recent years, Fensalden Manor is the site of a 19th century stagecoach stop on the hilltop meadows of Navarro Ridge Road. This tranquil property, which sits 400 feet above the ocean in Albion, is shared with three other homes - the one-bedroom Tower House, the two-bedroom Seashore Cottage, and the one-bedroom Bungalow House - which can be rented separately or together by a large group or an extended family (please call Vacasa for details).

Begin each morning with breakfast at Queenie's Roadhouse Cafe in Elk nine miles south, wander the charming streets of Mendocino nine miles north, and stop to admire the natural scenery of Van Damme State Park along the way.
