We love the easy access to the dunes, and the quiet and privacy that the home has in the woods. We can fully relax and our son loves the tire swing.

Could not have been happier with our stay here. Cozy cabin, wooded setting, beautiful coastline, great hiking at Russian Gulch State Park, coming back to a hot tub on a cold night... Just wish I could have stayed another week! Highly recommended.

I’ve been renting this house for over 10 years and it’s always so comfortable and relaxing. Great location, cozy but not too small. Can’t wait to go back.

The house was just rustic enough to feel like a log cabin in the woods, but updated with all the modern conveniences to make it cozy and fun. Close enough to Fort Bragg to get there in a jiff, but far enough away that we still felt like we were out in the woods. Very easy to locate from the highway, and super quiet. The hot tub was great, the kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed for a family meal in, and the 20 minute hike to the private beach was a perfect family evening outing. We will come back again someday!

This is a perfect get away place. We loved that it felt so secluded but the drive into town and the beaches was not far. We enjoyed walking to the dunes and my daughter loved the tire swing. Sitting in the hut tub looking up at all the beautiful trees was amazing. Make sure to bring board games or hit Redbox on the way in as you can’t stream movies. Not much to do after the sun goes down.

Quiet secluded cabin - its about 10 miles north of Fort Bragg. Cute interior but beware of the cold inside! Heater didn't work in master bedroom and main bath. It was very cold indoors when we visited in Feb and required us to be dressed in jackets/socks/caps indoors too . The heat was turned off when we arrived and it took abut 4-6 hours for the living room/upstairs to warm after turning on heater. We had some trouble starting the fire using the logs provided and had to purchase quick heating wood from the store.
Manager response:
This home, located 5 miles north of Fort Bragg, does not have heaters in the master bedroom and bathroom. We have been given permission to turn the heat on in the main living space of the home the day of check -in which should make the home more immediately comfortable for our guests. We do suggest guests bring their own fire starters as the owner does not provide them.

Lovely little home for our moms getaway. Close walk to the dunes through the forest. Well equipped kitchen for us foodies. The only think really missing was cast iron. Will return again.

Such a nice cabin in the woods! Easy walk to the dunes and beach and a quick 10 min drive to Glass Beach. The hot tub was a great place to relax and unwind. Would love to come back.

There was just two of us that stayed at this location and there is plenty of room to fit more. The fireplace with the firewood they provide is perfect and once you get the fire going, the house warms up splendidly. You can hike to the sand dunes and the beach and see some spectacular views. The hot tub is a great touch after a long day of exploring. I would highly recommend this place and would book it again.
