Priceless view ! Comfortable home. Beach is a very short walk around the corner and down to the ramp. TV had a nice selection of channels and DVD player. Home was clean. Nice supply of kitchen utensils. Perfect romantic getaway for a couple. We have stayed here several times over the year and always look forward to coming back. The view is priceless!
Five guys from south King County looking for a relaxing weekend getaway. We found it! The house and the reviews were as advertised. There were no suprises...except how lucky we were with how the weather cooperated. I was not expecting to see Mt. Baker and the Twin Sisters from balcony, but we did. Within a short drive you have access to all the coastal towns which usually have something going on. Don't wanna go anywhere? The house has WIFI, DVD and plenty of board games. Full up kitchen, washer/dryer, everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. I look forward to my next stay!
As a writer, I found this little cottage very accommodating. The kitchen is well stocked with the basics, everything was clean and the view was inspiring!
As I was there in January, it was a bit chilly due to the large sliders in the living and kitchen areas. Nothing a sweater and the heater couldn’t handle. Paradise Bay Road has quite a bit of traffic to hear from the house, but me being from a rural ranch in Colorado, I’m sure others would find it minimal.
All in all, I got some great writing in and the beach is incredible!
I would happily return.
Had a great time with family, close to water and in a really quiet neighborhood.
No noise except birds and waves. Great place to decompress. Only 4 star because needs updating/deep cleaning. If you don’t need 5 Star, this is a great place. We plan to stay again.
Great house with just the right amount of comforts from home! We have a three-year-old and the upstairs was perfect for him (though we blocked off the stairs during the night for safety). LOVED the views - panoramic view of the water from the living room and dining room/kitchen - we even saw peekaboo views of the mountains when the sky was clear, and the moon was gorgeous in the evenings! Quick walk to the beach, which was mostly empty during our stay so felt very private and secluded - only saw one other family on the beach the entire time we were there. Great to have laundry on site, and all the necessities for cooking were already there. A great family getaway spot!
This home has amazing views of the bay. We enjoyed starting our day with coffee on the deck and finished each evening with a drink on the deck. Home was very clean and comfortable. The spiral staircase to upstairs is tight but the arrangement worked fine for us. I originally checked into hotels for our family trip to the national parks. This home offers so much more for the same cost!
Great house, but no beach access.
Gorgeous views, abundant wildlife great stay!
It was quiet and relaxing.
Great home in a relaxing setting. My family and I had a wonderful time here.
I did not want to leave the deck of this lovely, cozy home. The sound of lapping ocean water, the chatter of birds and wildlife sightings made sitting there worth the entire trip. It's also a great starting point to discover things to do in and around Puget Sound
Good place for a view and relaxation.
Perfect getaway house with beach access
We used the it as a home base when venturing out into the Olympic Peninsula. It's a cute place and you can't beat that view. Waking up early and watching the sun rise over the water with a strong cup of coffee on that back deck is a moment I never want to forget.
Washer Dryer is inconveniently located under the main floor. Your have to walk outside and down a hill to get to it. View is great. But you can’t walk down to the beach. It is marked NO TRESSPASSING and property is owned by the neighbors.
We appreciate the guests feedback. All information regarding access to the beach can be found in the units guest notes.
This is a lovely, quaint cabin on the water. The amazing views start on the driveway and just get better. Plan one coffee and sunrise, you won't be sorry. Low tide walks on the beach with creatures and seals and close drives to many new adventures. Loved it!
This was a wonderful place to unwind, relax, and refresh. We enjoyed the views, the water, walking on the beach, and the privacy. Well kept, and all we needed was available. We spent 8 lazy days there and loved every minute.
Beautiful views from every room. Long walks on the beach were great! This would be a great spot in the summer for a group of friends or a family with older school age children. We had mixed weather and enjoyed watching a storm, a submarine pass by, and a warm sunny beach walk all in one weekend. Very well stocked and accommodating. Thank you!
great view and location, house clean but a little outdated... and the upstairs is difficult to access.
We arrived right at dusk to this cabin. It was everything we imagined. Right on Paradise Bay with views of the mountains across the water. We were treated to some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Eagles flew overhead and serenity was all around us. The cabin was private with ample parking. You do have to walk about 3 minutes away to reach the beach but the locals are friendly and the beach is fun to peruse. I found lots of sea glass and rocks as momentos. We really enjoyed the fire pit area. Make sure to bring your own wood and roasting sticks. The bed was comfortable but getting to the upstairs may be difficult for very small children, older guests and guests with wide shoulders. My husband almost got wedged because of his wide shoulders. It would be quite an adventure for 5-16 year olds. We have already booked our next stay.
The cottage is simple and quiet with a fantastic view. It is fairly well equipped with pots and pans etc but has next to nothing in the way of condiments. No oil, no salt or pepper. No coffee grinder either. Also something to be aware of that was difficult to tell from the photos, the spiral staircase is extremely narrow and steep. Our 7 and 11 yo were able to manage them ok, ( my 11 yo actually slipped and fell, hurting himself) but anyone much younger or much older may struggle. We enjoyed our stay however and found the home quaint and relaxing overall!
