This is a very nice house that is well equipped and comfortable. It is close to the ski resort and recreational areas, and the view is amazing!
Cabin was very nice, well stocked, and plenty of room. The ping pong table was broken so that was a bummer considering we were stuck in the cabin when our truck got stuck in the driveway. We still had a great time and the cabin is very nice and clean. Cabin has beautiful views.
We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! Our apologies that the ping-pong table wasn't available for your use during your stay. We will certainly look into the matter and make any necessary repairs. We look forward to hosting you again soon!
House was well kept, clean and generally up to date - and very spacious for 4 adults and 4 kids. View of the mountain was spectacular and all appliances / amenities were in working order. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Access to a mudroom to store ski gear over weekend would have been more convenient but there are ways around it.
Heed the advice offered previously - 4WD is encouraged in inclement conditions as the driveway is steep.
Thanks for welcoming us into your home.
The cabin was perfect for a family getaway. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The pictures are a good representation of the cabin.
The views are amazing. The location is close enough to civilization but isolated enough that you actually feel like you’re getting away.
Customer service was great. Despite a foot of snow falling before our visit, they had the driveway plowed well before we arrived.
We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.
Loved the roomy kitchen and comfortable beds.
Absolutely beautiful home. Clean and tidy. Everything you need to make a fun family trip with memories that will last a lifetime. But the best part is the customer service from Vacasa. Andy was amazing. Major Kudos to him, he went above and beyond to make our vacation memorable. Couldn't have been more pleased in the service, location and EVERYTHING was perfect. Thank you Andy!!!
House was nice, beds were comfortable and great location! Would have been better if we had more than two trash bags in the kitchen and there was no hand soap in the house. Also, the master tub is still broken. I saw that on a review from the winter and assumed it would be fixed, but no.
Overall I would say the house met the needs of what we were looking for. The rooms are nicely furnished and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen had a fair amount of pots and pans, mixing bowls and so forth. They are spread out over the entire kitchen, but with some looking around you could usually find what you needed. Could use another frying pan. There are plenty of utensils but short on plates. There are only like 6 or 8 full size plates to eat off of, and maybe 4 small size plates. Also, there are not many "hot" cups. The ones they do have are about a half cup to a 3/4 cup size so not great for coffee or hot chocolate. Kitchen is big and the dining area next to it fit the group well. However, if you want to relax, just keep in mind the layout of the house, you have to go upstairs to do the relaxing. Not a "great" room on one floor. The downstairs room is nice for the kids. Good area for TV watching and then for sleeping on the bunk beds. However, this is the coldest spot in the house, so during the winter it is cold down there. If you turn the heat up to high, then the upstairs is to hot! Not much you can do. The one bedroom downstairs is right next to the heater and it does make a lot of noise at night when the heat is on, which is often when it is 15% outside. the Jacuzzi tub in the master did not work. The hot water does not turn on! I mentioned this and they offered to come out, but I told them not to worry. I suspect it is turned off all the time except when the owner is there. I did look under the tub for a valve and there was one but it was open and still not hot water, so not sure of the issue. Overall it was a nice visit.
Last item to mention is parking. During the winter you have to park on the street. The ground in front of the cabin is not plowed or maintained and the hill is too steep to get out of with a 4 wheel drive! I tried and had to get towed out. So be prepared to haul all your stuff about 30 feet from the road into the house.
Final item, make sure you book through VRBO. I booked through VACASA and they charged a fee then you get another fee from VRBO, which you are not told about until after you have booked, nor are you told the amount, it just shows up on your credit card. So the overall booking of this unit cost over $200 just for fees, not including taxes and cleaning.
This home has a new owner that has added cable and internet. The jetted tub has been removed from the listing since it is no longer available, and we have updated the parking and driveway information. Please note that 4x4 is required during winter. Thank you!
So the whole trip just didn’t go the way we expected and Vacasa didn’t handle it properly, long story short they had to move us into this home instead of the original one I reserved due to a water problem.
When we got to this house you have to go down a steep hill to get to the driveway, which can be tough to get out during the winter time because while we were there the whole ground was covered in ice; so it was even hard for my 4wd to get up when leaving the house. Then the bedroom downstairs has the heater furnace in the closet literally a foot or 2 away from the bed so if you come during the winter and have the heater on and are sleeping in that room, you cannot expect to go to sleep because it turns on and off about every 10 minutes... and it’s loud. I have other things that I’m pretty mad about too like it not having WiFi or a garage, but it’s only cause the original home I reserved had both amenities and I expected to get the same amenities when being transferred to a different home. I probably won’t be booking with Vacasa again.
We sincerely apologize for the last minute move due to a frozen water meter that stopped water flow into the home. Our primary objective was to place this guest in a home where they would have fully functioning facilities during their visit. While this home was missing a couple of amenities the previous one had, it had enough sleeping space and running water. We did advise this guest the driveway was iced over and offered to come with ice melt and to remove the ice. The guest declined saying it would not be an issue. They were also provided with the local property manager's contact information, and they never did reach out regarding the ice or any other issues or disappointments. We wish they would have so we could have assisted them. We have rearranged the downstairs bedroom so the bed is not next to the closet with the furnace. Again, we apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience in having to switch homes, and we politely ask that our guests please reach out if they are in need of assistance. Thank you!
We’re really enjoying our stay at this house.
