Amazing views, could watch the kids sled while in the kitchen and see giant steps out the other window. Sunsets were amazing. Overall great house for several families to stay.

The cabin location and the views are about as good as you can get in Brian Head, that is certain. You definitely want AWD or 4x4 if the driveway is slick.
The layout was perfect for our group of 3 couples and 4 kids. The bottom floor is a bit chilly at night, but a great place to let the kids entertain themselves. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is relatively well stocked with good cookware.

The drawbacks are mainly due to upkeep. I'll echo some concerns from previous reviews that mentioned scuff marks on the walls and some smudges on the carpet from muddy shoes. I'll also mention some slow draining sinks and finicky wifi.

All that said, this was by far the best value around for a full cabin over the holiday weekend. Will likely be back.
Manager response:
We appreciate your feedback, Taylor. The WiFi is slower on the mountain getting between 7-10Mbps; we apologize if this was an inconvenience. We are scheduling a professional cleaning for the carpet, and maintenance is taking care of the sink drains. Thank you!

For the price, the carpets were filthy and there were several scuff marks on some of the walls. Several blinds were missing off the back porch sliding door. If you stay here I would recommend taking photos of the damage and stains to cover your @$$ to avoid extra fees. Furthermore this particular cabin advertised a ping pong table which was not present during the stay. A little disappointing but not the end of the world. The random family portrait in the master bedroom is very creepy. Despite everything I just mentioned, our stay was 10/10. Enjoyed every moment, every view, every amenity and feature that this cabin offered. Will book again however you guys need to have maintenance address the issues mentioned above and for g-d sakes, replace that family portrait with something else.

Thank you!
Manager response:
We appreciate your feedback, Max, and will be taking care of the blinds and carpet. The ping pong table was removed six months ago from the advertised amenities as it is no longer available. We apologize for the disappointments you experienced and hope to see you again!

Loved everything!

Our stay at View Topia was fantastic! Wonderful vacation home with amazing views. The best parts weren't the views...they were the beds! Super comfortable with high quality linens! We were able to ATV right from the driveway. We will be back!
Andy D. Jul 2020
Loved the home. Plenty of space. Great views.
Alison K. Jul 2020
We just got back from a wonderful stay! Highly recommend this cabin! The location was perfect. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space to spread out and we did not feel like we were “on top of each other”. Our teenagers had a blast! We will be back!

Several basic features are in need of repair including non-draining master bath sinks and a broken kitchen faucet.
Setting is lovely
Basic amenities like Kleenex and napkins, tea bags coffee etc missing
Manager response:
Hi, Christopher! We appreciate you sharing your review with us. The kitchen faucet will be replaced prior to the end of June, and the draining issue in the master bathroom will be addressed right away. Thank you for staying with us!

The cabin was very nice, clean, and spacious. There was 8 of us and we all had our own bed. Had a lot of cooking pots and pans. I’d definitely start here again.

The back deck faced east which made incredible sunsets at the sunset on the valley…

Close to everything and very cozy!

This is a very nice house that is well equipped and comfortable. It is close to the ski resort and recreational areas, and the view is amazing!

Cabin was very nice, well stocked, and plenty of room. The ping pong table was broken so that was a bummer considering we were stuck in the cabin when our truck got stuck in the driveway. We still had a great time and the cabin is very nice and clean. Cabin has beautiful views.
Manager response:
We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! Our apologies that the ping-pong table wasn't available for your use during your stay. We will certainly look into the matter and make any necessary repairs. We look forward to hosting you again soon!

House was well kept, clean and generally up to date - and very spacious for 4 adults and 4 kids. View of the mountain was spectacular and all appliances / amenities were in working order. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Access to a mudroom to store ski gear over weekend would have been more convenient but there are ways around it.

Heed the advice offered previously - 4WD is encouraged in inclement conditions as the driveway is steep.

Thanks for welcoming us into your home.

The cabin was perfect for a family getaway. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The pictures are a good representation of the cabin.

The views are amazing. The location is close enough to civilization but isolated enough that you actually feel like you’re getting away.

Customer service was great. Despite a foot of snow falling before our visit, they had the driveway plowed well before we arrived.

We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

Loved the roomy kitchen and comfortable beds.

Absolutely beautiful home. Clean and tidy. Everything you need to make a fun family trip with memories that will last a lifetime. But the best part is the customer service from Vacasa. Andy was amazing. Major Kudos to him, he went above and beyond to make our vacation memorable. Couldn't have been more pleased in the service, location and EVERYTHING was perfect. Thank you Andy!!!

House was nice, beds were comfortable and great location! Would have been better if we had more than two trash bags in the kitchen and there was no hand soap in the house. Also, the master tub is still broken. I saw that on a review from the winter and assumed it would be fixed, but no.
Verlon S. Apr 2018
Overall I would say the house met the needs of what we were looking for. The rooms are nicely furnished and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen had a fair amount of pots and pans, mixing bowls and so forth. They are spread out over the entire kitchen, but with some looking around you could usually find what you needed. Could use another frying pan. There are plenty of utensils but short on plates. There are only like 6 or 8 full size plates to eat off of, and maybe 4 small size plates. Also, there are not many "hot" cups. The ones they do have are about a half cup to a 3/4 cup size so not great for coffee or hot chocolate. Kitchen is big and the dining area next to it fit the group well. However, if you want to relax, just keep in mind the layout of the house, you have to go upstairs to do the relaxing. Not a "great" room on one floor. The downstairs room is nice for the kids. Good area for TV watching and then for sleeping on the bunk beds. However, this is the coldest spot in the house, so during the winter it is cold down there. If you turn the heat up to high, then the upstairs is to hot! Not much you can do. The one bedroom downstairs is right next to the heater and it does make a lot of noise at night when the heat is on, which is often when it is 15% outside. the Jacuzzi tub in the master did not work. The hot water does not turn on! I mentioned this and they offered to come out, but I told them not to worry. I suspect it is turned off all the time except when the owner is there. I did look under the tub for a valve and there was one but it was open and still not hot water, so not sure of the issue. Overall it was a nice visit.

Last item to mention is parking. During the winter you have to park on the street. The ground in front of the cabin is not plowed or maintained and the hill is too steep to get out of with a 4 wheel drive! I tried and had to get towed out. So be prepared to haul all your stuff about 30 feet from the road into the house.

Final item, make sure you book through VRBO. I booked through VACASA and they charged a fee then you get another fee from VRBO, which you are not told about until after you have booked, nor are you told the amount, it just shows up on your credit card. So the overall booking of this unit cost over $200 just for fees, not including taxes and cleaning.
Manager response:
This home has a new owner that has added cable and internet. The jetted tub has been removed from the listing since it is no longer available, and we have updated the parking and driveway information. Please note that 4x4 is required during winter. Thank you!

We’re really enjoying our stay at this house.
