Deer Cabin is comfortable and well equipped with kitchen essentials and plenty of bath towels. The only draw back are the excessive fees from vacasa that doubled the cost for a two night stay.
We are happy that you enjoyed your stay! Our fees are displayed before you book the home. At the top of the booking page, it will tell you the total cost for your reservation. If you would like the fees broken down you can hit "pricing details" and that will let you know how much is allocated for rent, fees, and taxes. Thank you for your feedback, we hope to host you again soon!
This cabin was perfect for our family! It has a beautiful view, stocked kitchen and plenty of space and beds for everyone. We went early summer and the rate was very reasonable.
The city has dedicated routes for ATV's. You can literally ride from the cabin, onto the ATV route and into the National Forest. Beds were comfortable, everything worked as it should. Wifi was good. Everything was clean and neat. We will be back.
We stayed here for a birthday snowboarding trip to WolfCreek. Deer Cabin was everything we wanted and more. Highly recommend staying at Foot Hills Lodge!
Very nice, well maintained and a great value. I'll be using this property again for sure.
The place was the perfect size and had the perfect amenities for an easy and fun stay. They even had a crock pot for the perfect meal after a day on the slopes! Wildlife right outside the front door and only 20 minutes from the mountain. It was perfect and very affordable.
Very spacious cabin. Had everything we needed. Across the street from groceries. Couldn’t ask for a better arrangement. Enjoyed our stay!
The cabin is exactly how pictured and was very clean when we arrived. We especially liked the updated feel of the bathroom. Plenty of towels, info on nearby restaurants and hiking opportunities, and useful instructions for the TV. The grocery store is well stocked and within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Two Rivers BBQ and would recommend that to anyone looking for dining in South Fork. We took two drives to Pagosa Springs which was very doable. The kitchen in the cabin is small but feels rustic and is manageable and has the essentials. Definitely would stay here again.
Nice place to relax after a day hiking or on the slopes
This is a great little cabin for a small family. It was nice to have 2 bedrooms. In South Fork during winter time there is not a lot of options on eating out. Since this little cabin has a kitchen it was perfect for us to make dinner and eat at the cabin.
These little cabins were the perfect spot for a night before a big snow. The cabin was clean, the staff was helpful, the price was reasonable and during a snow storm it only took us 30 minutes to get to Wolf Creek.
The cabin was clean and nice. Only negative about it was being so far away. Can't beat it for the price though.
Stayed in 2 bedroom cabin. The cabin environment was matched the town and scenery. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Convenient to Wolf Creek ski area.
Property was clean and the staff were very friendly.
