I would absolutely recommend this property. The house fit my family's needs to the maximum. Vacasa's staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel comfortable the whole time we were there. The house is in a great location, allowing us to conveniently traverse through Park City. The neighbors were also very friendly, making my family and I feel welcome.

We had a great time at Ontario House. The location was fantastic. It was two blocks from the Old Town Transit Centre and three blocks from Main Street. We chose not to rent a car and had an easy time getting around. The only limitation was that the grocery store was a not very conveniently located by public transit.

This condo easily slept 7 people and roomy enough for all to eat together and watch TV together in living room. Condo was very clean and had more than enough kitchen items...lots of dishes, cups, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, etc. Washer /Dryer was very convenient and included detergent.
The only downside was that there were 3 flights of stairs which will be problematic for older people.

The location was perfect. Wonderful access to downtown Park City restaurants and shopping. The condo that we rented is fairly dated and could use some improvements but if you're there for the Park City experience, you'll enjoy you stay at this unit.

The only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer! FABULOUS location! Very clean. The right size for our family of 8--children ages 2-17. Kitchen was well stocked with variety of pots & pans, cheese grater, pizza slicer, etc. Just 1/2 a block walk to Main Street. Right off several walking paths for my morning walks. The kids loved the X-box.

The property was clean enough, but it could definitely use a deep cleaning. When using the front door, be sure to pull the door handle towards you, or else you might have issues locking/unlocking. Also, the dishwasher is on its last leg, so just be prepared to hand wash your dishes and use the dishwasher solely as a drying rack.
Otherwise, we were comfortable and the walk to Town Lift wasn't bad. Since the property is uphill, it was a bit tiresome to trek back after a day on the slopes though. The property is also walking distance to Main St. and Old Towne transit center, so you can go bus into town or to the Canyons side fairly easily.
It is impossible to get a hold of anyone on at Vacasa (you will be greeted by an annoying prerecorded message EVERY TIME), so you might try sending an email to get a response.
Overall, this property gets the job done.
We apologize for the inconveniences this guest encountered. The Property Manager will work with housekeeping on the cleanliness and will also inspect the door lock and dishwasher. We are currently hiring and training more Guest Services Agents so that we are easier to reach by phone.

I've used VRBO/Home Away dozens of times and had very positive experiences. Almost all have been through 'local' owners who have been very helpful and responsive to any issues. While the corporate team at Vacasa was responsive (once they could be reached out-of-state), there was no communication from anyone locally when we were faced with plumbing problems and no hot water.
We apologize that we have been difficult to reach. We are currently hiring more personnel on the phones and in the field so that we can be more responsive to our guests' needs.

On the plus side:
1. This property is in a great location - walking distance to Main Street shopping and dining, 3 minutes to Deer Valley Mountain, 5 minutes to Park City Mountain.
2. The property was a good size for our family of four. Renters should appreciate that there is a master BR with a king, a second BR with 2 twins; and a third smaller BR with 1 twin and a pull out trundle. (The listing we reviewed indicated 4 twin beds - which is technically true, but it should be noted that the 4th twin is a trundle.)
3. Having a two car attached garage was a plus.
Now for the negatives:

The property was not particularly clean upon our arrival (crumbs and large dust bunnies under sofa, dust on wall-mounted fixtures and on tables/chests that had anything on them (i.e. wall mounted fixtures looked like they hadn't been dusted in months; it looked like someone dusted around the items on the tables/chests, but there was a thick layer of dust under/around those items.
5. Wall to wall carpeting on stairs and on top level where bedrooms are located is stained and tired looking.
Overall, this was a satisfactory rental. I would stay here again, but would explore other options first to see if there was an alternative rental option in the same price range that was better maintained/cleaner.
