Spectacular views, amazing location! Wonderful "family-friendly" home.
Enjoy breathtaking views of Carson Peak and glimpses of Horsetail Falls from this beautiful, two-bedroom, 2-full bath, family-friendly home complete with upgraded features and a gas fireplace, all just a short drive from area lakes, town, and prime skiing at June Mountain.
This rental is located near the base of Carson Peak, conveniently close to the June Lake Loop. While you may be driving this 15-mile, scenic route to visit the many glacial lakes and streams in the summer for hiking, horseback riding, trout fishing, and boating, the entire area transforms in the fall when the lower hillsides of the surrounding mountains and the shorelines come alive with vibrant colors. During the winter months, pack up your skis and your snowboards and head over to the June Mountain Ski Area just two miles away, where kids 12 and under are always free! And for shopping and dining throughout the year, take a drive into the friendly community of June Lake only three miles from your front door.
Back at your cozy home away from home, enjoy views of Carson Peak and the surrounding forests through this rental's many windows. Warm yourself by the gas fireplace in the winter, or whip up anything from a mug of hot cocoa to a full-course dinner in the well-equipped, full kitchen.

Washer/dryer : Private
My wife, two young sons and I had a wonderful stay on a skiing trip here. Plenty of room, wide open kitchen area with everything you'll need to prepare and serve meals and clean up afterwards. Washer and dryer, two baths, comfortable area to gel in front of the TV (there's also DVD player), big dining table, high vaulted wooden ceiling in dining/living room and wooden floors. Very clean and in great condition.
Our family of 4 (with two young boys) had a wonderful time! The boys loved the bunk beds and we loved watching them play in the snow through the gorgeous, 2-story windows while we got a chance to catch our breath and relax inside. Super-close to slopes and town. Would definitely return!
Very tidy, nice home, perfect for our family of five over Christmas break. Amazing views from the living room and upstairs bedroom.
Well stocked and clean. Only drawback was the excessive mosquitos (outside) and spiders (inside) around the home. Couldn’t enjoy using the deck. Did enjoy watching the deer walking through the meadow from the beautiful windows.
This home is truly in the woods and close to water, so mosquitoes are always going to be a problem during the summer months. The mosquito repellent wrist band is a great option when you know you are going to the mountains and an excellent companion when you are hiking. Once again, because of where we live, we do have spiders and they can make their way into a home, especially during storms. We hope our guests remember they can call our emergency number, and we can come by the home and do our best to remedy all problems.
Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked, the view was amazing. If you are handicapped, the pathway to the front door is not friendly and there are no steps off the back patio making it dangerous for kids and elderly. It is a very nice home otherwise.
Nice quiet getaway, beautiful view of Carson peak and water falls, close to Silver Lake.
Loved the privacy and beauty of the location nestled in surrounding mountains with two lovely waterfalls as a backdrop. Very clean and conveniently stocked. Upper level water pressure isn't great, but the lower level shower is perfect. Close to many sights and a diverse landscape. Reasonably priced. Really enjoyed our stay.
June Lake was beautiful and house was clean, warm and welcoming.
Perfect vacation get away.
Updated cabin with nicely appointed kitchen. Clean, open floor plan. Cozy.
Panoramic mountain views and 5 minutes to June Mountain skiing. The kids' bedroom is huge. The furnishings and appointments are basic but comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need for a satisfying meal after ski. No wifi, but not really a problem. Would stay again.
This is a beautiful house with an amazing view. Down the street from June Mountain, although the drive to Mammoth was longer than anticipated. Would definitely consider staying here again.
This is a beautiful house very close to the lift chair (1 mile away) and not far from nice hiking trails. It has all the amenities needed.
No wi-fi available, so come prepare.
An airy, spacious house with a nice new kitchen and bathrooms. Lots of space for relaxing and resting. Beds are comfortable. A perfect spot to stay in for a visit. Only thing was there was no wi-fi, which I hope they provide in the future.
