Romantic cottage with a furnished patio - close to parks & town

For those looking for that perfect get-away-from-it-all destination, this one-bedroom cottage is located in the beautiful San Jacinto Mountains, midway between Hemet and Palm Springs, and only 100 miles from Los Angeles.

Just a little over a mile from your rental, head out on over 200 acres of hiking trails across open spaces and through mature forests in Idyllwild Park. Hike the Summit Trail up to the Idyllwild Nature Center and be sure to keep your eyes (and your cameras) out for local wildlife. One mile west, the Idyllwild Arts campus offers year-round entertainment including live theater productions and music. This is also the home of the highly acclaimed Jazz in the Pines festival featuring over two dozen bands. And for shops, restaurants, brewpubs, and wineries, downtown Idyllwild offers a number of options, just a mile-and-a-half east.

Your cottage comes with free WiFi and a flatscreen TV with Netflix streaming. When the temperature drops, stoke up the fireplace and play some of the provided board games, or dive into a book as rain (or a rare dusting of snow) falls on Idyllwild. When things warm up, take advantage of your furnished, fenced backyard where you can watch the sunrise through the trees with a cup of fresh brewed morning coffee.

Take a well-deserved break from the big city and make your escape to this quiet and secluded vacation rental.

My wife and I could not have been happier with our stay at The Nest. The cottage is so cute and set up so well for two people. I think the only thing we had any complaints about was simply that the shower was small. However, with that said, it wouldn't stop us from staying here again. It was within walking distance of the center of town, super clean, I received all of the check in instructions well in advance of our stay. Would definitely recommend to others and plan to return to Idyllwild and hope to stay here again. Thanks so much!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is super charming, well equipped and has a beautiful patio. The bed is really comfortable and everything was super clean.
The location is perfect, close enough to the village but still quiet and local. The neighborhood is beautiful, with tree lined trees and walking distance to hiking trails.

My wife and loved this charming little mountain cabin for our anniversary weekend. Quaint, relaxing, romantic yet still very accessible and close proximity to downtown restaurants/shops.

This was a darling little cabin. Very clean and comfy. Not really walking distance into the town , but close. We didn't cook in the kitchen, ate out, but all the main essentials there to prepare simple meals. Bed was comfy with nice linens. The yard of is very private with a fence all around, this neighborhood is very quite and peaceful. Great getaway!!! Would recommend

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Nest. It is a lovely home, very near the Idyllwild business district. The home is comfortable and well appointed. I would highly recommend this spot for a couple spending a little time in the area.
