Classic coastal home w/ocean view in quiet neighborhood!
This stylish Oceanside vacation rental is three stories tall, which allows its lucky guests to peek over all the other homes and catch a glimpse of the ocean!
The town of Oceanside, located just north of Netarts Bay, is lined with beautiful sandy beaches and is home to Three Arch Rocks National Wildlife Refuge. This home can be found just off the shore, about a third of a mile walk to the beach. Whether you enjoy lounging on the sand listening to the gulls, watching the wildlife, or combing the sand for shells, Annie's Oceanside Beach Rest offers a peaceful retreat.
The newer home, located on a quiet cul-de-sac street, has three bedrooms and two private outdoor balconies where you can relax with a glass of wine as you enjoy the misty Oregon air. You will love being surrounded by trees and the mellow atmosphere of this charming Oceanside neighborhood!
Head into this clean and spacious home from the bottom floor and find a set of stairs leading to the main living area with an open floor plan. The cozy living room has a big picture window and a gas fireplace. Settle into the comfortable sofas with a good book and a glass of Oregon's own Blackberry Mead, a new wine offered at the Blue Heron Cheese Factory in nearby Tillamook, after an adventurous day on the beach. The kids will love the big TV complete with cable, a DVD player, WiFi, and a Playstation 3. This home even has a collection of DVDs so you can re-watch some of your favorites!
From there, you'll find a charming dining area where you can gather the family for nightly meals, as well as a breakfast bar right off of the kitchen for quick snacks. This contemporary kitchen features all stainless steel appliances, including a stove, fridge, dishwasher, and a microwave. The chef in the family will love working in this bright room, with plenty of counter space for rolling out homemade pasta or setting out all the ingredients for a taco night.
When it's finally time to retreat to bed, this home's top floor features three roomy bedrooms for sleeping, and can accommodate up to eight guests. The master bedroom has a king bed, lots of closet space, a flat-screen TV, and a private outdoor balcony for enjoying the fresh, early morning air. The next bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin on top and a full on the bottom, and finally the 3rd bedroom features a queen sized bed.
If you find that you still require more sleeping space, the sofa in the living room makes out to very comfortable bed with an inflatable mattress top.
Additional amenities include one and a half bathrooms and laundry facilities that are located on the top floor.
Though you'll be swept away with the quiet beaches of Oceanside during the days, you will also enjoy easy access to the quaint downtown area. Just a short drive north on the Netarts Oceanside Highway takes you to the Oceanside Beach State Recreation Site, as well as various shops, restaurants and cafes where you can grab a bite to eat or peruse the souvenirs. For the best of both worlds, this Northern Oregon Coast vacation rental will perfectly suit your family's next beach getaway! A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.
You must be 21 years or older to rent this property.

Everything was clean , well organized. Basic utensils and necessities there. A second shower would have been appreciated being it sleeps 8. BBQ , WiFi , Tv everything simple to find and operate . Close drive to the beach .

We love it. This is where we stay when we come to the beach. It's conveniently located for us and the right size for our family. Love the gas fire.
Jacqueline J.Oct 2019
House was clean, comfortable and well suited for a weekend to week long stay. Perfect for a getaway. Parking was a bit of issue if you have truck or full size SUV. Smaller vehicle no problem.
Alexander d.Sep 2019
Beautiful house. Not as close to the beach as I would of liked. Grill needs burner replaced. Kids and friend thought it was great. Very peaceful and relaxing. Refrigerator needs shelf replaced. Is a great view from the bedroom.
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Alexander! We are glad you enjoyed a comfortable stay. We appreciate you letting us know there is room for improvement, and we’ll be sure to pass your comments regarding both the grill and refrigerator onto our maintenance team for evaluation. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!

Comfortable, however, it should be noted that there are two flights of stairs. Ocean can be seen but a drive to access the beach.
Tara S.Apr 2019
The location was beautiful. The master bed was comfortable.

location and comfortable home
Rhoda L.Dec 2017
Really love the location near Tillamook. With crabbing so close. We had a great time. There are many stairs at this residence. But very clean and warm in decor. Thanks for the family memories.
Evelyn R.Oct 2017
It was a nice house. I would’ve liked to have been closer to the beach but it was a short drive away. Overall. The house was nice and slept all five of us comfortably. It could sleep eight if needed.
Roger H.Sep 2017
It's in a beautiful location very nice place to stay.
Linda L.Sep 2017
The house is near the town of Tillamook so is great if you want to visit the Cheese Factory. Also near the ocean and has a great bay to crab and clam. The beach was not crowded like other Oregon towns.
Good size for a family of 4 but was a bit crowded for us a family of 8 when we were all in the living/dining room.
Has washer/dryer so was handy for those with young children.
Good view from the small balcony off the master bedroom.
Two negatives -
Lots of stairs so probably not a good place for those who have limited mobility or little kids.
The house has an interesting mildew, damp smell when we arrived. Had to open all the windows to air it out.

Great family vacation home. Enough space for each of our children to have their own sleeping space. Oceanside and Netarts are both very cute but very small towns. Most will require a trip to Tillamook if not bringing your own groceries.
We appreciated that the beaches, view points and points of interest (light houses, fish hatchery etc.) were very quiet and not overly busy!
Matthew G.Jul 2017
The Oceanside Beach is great. Cape meares was nice. A little farther away we enjoyed the tide pools down by cape perpetua. Cannon beach and Hug point were really fun too. We enjoyed the short sand beach trail also
When we got there the tub was not draining well. I called the Vacasa number before we headed out for the day. When we got back that evening it was fixed. I was impressed with their response.
One thing that could use some improvement is the window covering in the master bedroom, specifically. You can't change clothes in there because the glass door has no covering
One other thing that was a challenge was finding places to eat after 5

Great location to explore the Oregon Coast. Quite, secluded and non-touristy location -- a true get-away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Lisa P.Jul 2017
The vacation home was beautiful. It had everything you could ask for. Lil restaurant and public beach down the road. It was the perfect vacation and we will never forget it. We look forward to scheduling one for next year!
Sara C.Jun 2017
Its a lovely home with lots plenty of bedrooms. Main bath is a little small and no beach access within walking distance. But centrally located for lots of activities nearby.
Gregory S.Jun 2017
Overall we enjoyed the stay and home.
John P.Apr 2017
This was an awesome place to stay. It was so clean and cozy!! We loved the location
and the area. We had everything we needed to cook with if we wanted to. The fireplace was a fun addition and great when coming home from the beach. Very comfortable.
Willona B.Jan 2017
This was a nice property, however, we were very disappointed that the property was NOT located in Oceanside as the description implied. We drove to Oceanside only to find out that the property is between Netarts and Oceanside. If we would have know that we would have chosen another home for our stay. With that being said the property was very nice with plenty of room for our family of 4. The kids loved the movie selection and enjoyed the bunk beds. It was clean and well cared for with a kitchen full of supplies, along with plenty of clean towels.
J.D. B.Dec 2016
The place was the cleanest we have seen. Communication was clear and responsive. The family had a blast playing the games provided. We would definitely stay here again! Great all around experience from booking to locking up as we left.
Patricia R.Nov 2016
We enjoyed the home very much. Very nice for the price. Location is quiet and close to town. Enjoyed our stay.
Tim N.Oct 2016
Clean and spacious townhome

Excellent place and very well kept. Beds were comfortable with a nice kitchen. Will book again.
Marina R.Sep 2016
This has to be the most well appointed home we've ever had the privilege to stay in. We vacation in Oceanside every year and have stayed in both individual homes and hotels. This is by far the nicest. While you can't really walk to the beach (small children), driving over to the beach was no biggie.
The home is fairly new and the owners have done an amazing job decorating and making sure you need nothing! The kitchen has everything for cooking (except an espresso machine) including great anodized cookware (please hand wash). Lots of serving platters, serving bowls and more. Beautiful appliances and a gas stove! Felt like home.
Plenty of games and cable TV in all 3 bedrooms.
The beds are very comfortable and our little guy loved the bunk beds. There is plenty of reading material and books for kids. The 3 teddy bears on the shelf in the kids room is one of the touches the owners made to make our stay like home.
Because this home is so nice our trip flew by! We will definitely book here again!
Only request is to cover the windows in the master. There is little privacy. Otherwise this home will be our Oceanside stay for years to come.
Constantin P.Sep 2016
Very nice place
Pauline F.Sep 2016
Over all a great place to stay......clean, very well stocked with items to get our vacation started with out having to run to the store, a long walk to the beach...suggest to drive 4 min. into Oceanside to go to the beach :) Close to Tillamook.....It was a wonderful Vacation!!

This definitely isn't the fanciest house you can find on the Oregon coast, but it is still a great base from which to explore the amazing coast around Oceanside. Oceanside is an awesome little town that is off the beaten track, and not as busy as cannon beach, Lincoln city or some of the other larger towns. The beaches there are awesome, and there is also a great hiking nearby. We highly recommend visiting tunnel beach as well as the beach next to it which I think is called Oregon rocks Beach. There is in a parking lot, but you will likely see a few cars parked on the side of the road and a small sign that indicates where the steps are that lead down to the beach. The typos there were awesome, and the scenery is almost beyond belief. Cape Lookout he's also a nice spot to visit, although it was too foggy for us to see the view at the end of the hike. We still had a great time there though. The house itself is nice, and has everything you need to have a comfortable stay.
Gail C.Aug 2016
Great clean house for our family.
Dawn K.Jul 2016
Lovely home. We'll stocked all around. Kitchen had everything we needed. Lots of pillows and linens. Plenty of games, movies books and magazines to keep you entertained at the house. The beach is a short drive away. There are two decks to sit on and a gas grill. Very happy with our stay!
Carley P.Jul 2016
Beautiful house and in the perfect area. We were just a few minutes from the beach and loved checking out the restaurants in the little town. The house was exceptionally clean and very cute. Perfect for our group of six adults and two babies!
Thomas D.Jun 2016
Very comfortable house in a great location.
Shannon Q.Jun 2016
Gorgeous, clean, comfortable. Can't wait to book again.
Wanda C.Mar 2016
We enjoyed our stay. It is unfortunate there is no beach access. This would have made the stay even better. It was great to have all the gaming options for the kids.
Dawnelle L.Feb 2016
Nice house, but very steep and many stairs.( Not Senior friendly)
No real clear view, only from upstairs master bedroom from a corner of the room.
Steve W.Feb 2016
Had a great time and even booked again to go back.
Kimberly L.Oct 2015
Our group of four stayed two nights here and we had so much fun! The house is great and easy to access. The weather was awful (which was what we planned on) so we stayed in and played games, watched movies and cooked. There's a Safeway not too far away (maybe 10 minutes) which is where we got our groceries. Tillamook Cheese Factory is not too far so we did that one day. It was a great weekend and we're already planning our next trip there!
Tiffani W.Jul 2015
This house was perfect for our family of 6. It's a nice, clean house within 2 minutes of the beach. There is a view from some parts of the house and you can hear the ocean when windows are opened. This is my favorite town on the Oregon Coast. Loved the fact that I didn't have a long list of things to do to check out. We will definitely stay at this house again.
Elizabeth F.Mar 2015
This is a great, small place. Not a lot of living area, but what there is, is comfortable and well decorated. The view is really only accessible by the master bedroom upstairs. (and this is a great bedroom - loved it!) The location of this house wasn't ideal for us. You couldn't access the beach by foot, unless you wanted to walk out to the freeway and walk along it for quite some time. We really felt like we were in a subdivision. But the house itself was nice. Better for one family, rather than two. Loved the movie and video game selection. Close to Netarts and the affordable market there. Oceanside has only 2-3 businesses, which are very, very expensive. So, we used the house as a launching spot for the rest of the coast.
Kaylee H.Mar 2015
We loved walking in and seeing how clean and beautifully decorated the home was. The weather didn't allow us to see the ocean until the morning we left but it was still wonderful. The master bed is very firm, so prepare yourself if you're used to a softer bed. Otherwise, it was near perfect!
Thank you for this great review. I am sorry that you were disappointed with the firmness of the beds. We are happy that you loved the home. Thank you for sharing your vacation with Vacasa.
Jessica H.Sep 2014
The house was great, just like the pictures portrayed. We enjoyed our stay.
Lance B.Aug 2014
The house was nice, and the staff was very helpful. We had a very good experience here. I do not recommend this house, only because I enjoy other locations on the coast over Oceanside. However, in the short amount of time we had to book a house, this fit our needs very well. The only complaint I have is that the house does not have wifi, which is a must for all of us technology junkies. :)
Karinda B.Aug 2014
The only thing missing was WiFi.... Then again - maybe it wasn't such a bad thing!
