Follow the path to the beach to search for sand dollars and other ocean treasures, wander just down the Oregon Coast Highway to peruse the pieces at Earthworks Gallery and Bob Keller Photo/Wave Gallery, and spend a day admiring the incredible views from Cape Perpetua four miles south. Beach toys, kites, and even a croquet set are all provided for your use.

The great room is an open, light-filled space, where large picture windows frame beautiful views of the ocean surf. Light the gas fireplace on crisp coastal mornings, use the stainless steel appliances and waffle iron to prepare breakfast in the kitchen (with a dishwasher), and peer through the telescope to watch for passing whales. The small, enclosed side yard is accessible from both floors, and the hot tub is a lovely place to soak up the ocean view on a lightly traveled country road. Light the gas grill for dinner and catch unforgettable sunsets on the ocean-facing deck. Should a sudden storm move in, you can curl up with your dog (please note that a nightly fee applies), the free WiFi, a board game, or a movie to watch on the flatscreen TV and DVD/Blu-ray player.
