Game room and surrounding property kept our 8, 7 and 5 year old busy for 4 days straight! Conveniently located next to a plethora of breathtaking hikes and probably too close to town's life changing homemade ice cream.

The cabin was awesome! It had multiple things to enjoy no matter the age. If you come prepared with a cooler of food and drinks you can hunker down without having to go into town. Your surrounded by beautiful trees, mountains and fresh air.. In town had something for everyone. Way cheaper then Julian and with way better restaurants. Book it and see!!!

We felt right at home instantly and found the location, size, and accommodations perfect for our family of four. Our boys loved the backyard exploration and all the kid-friendly spaces and stuff inside! The home was warm, comfortable, inviting and clean with nearly everything we needed! Thanks for a great spot to call home for a few days!

The home had everything we needed to enjoy a peaceful, relaxing few days. We cooked a little and went out to a few eateries. Enjoyed our daily hikes and the beauty of the snow capped mountains. The nights were cold, but the heater kept the home warm and cozy for us. A big plus for us is that we did not have to find a dog sitter. Our Jack Russell, Mia enjoyed the visit as well. Looking forward to our next getaway at Idyllwild on the rocks.

Time to detox from the rat race and get away to peace and
true quiet. Saw coyote, deer, hawk. Beautiful area in summer
with the Idyllwild Art School performances daily. Cabin was
what we needed.

We are a family of four and stayed at this cabin during spring break. We have a great and relaxing time at the cabin. The location is close to many points of interest yet maintaining the feel of secluded mountain cabin. The layout of the cabin is special. We enjoyed the game room and the library room and had a great time. The price is very reasonable and inexpensive considering all the amenities that it equipped with. We highly recommend this cabin.

Bad directions to the place #1
Sliding doors either would not open or were stuck. Not enough utensils. Dirty BBQ Grill, Pots and pans were old and worn. Furniture had seen better days. Bedding was old and worn. No firewood as it showed in the photos and the heat did not work on the bottom floor so we never used the pool table because of it. Way over priced and not worth the money spent. Will not stay again!

Our family of 4 (all adults) stayed for two nights, and we had a great get away. We had a lot of difficulty finding the home, they need to give better directions. We had to get out of the car and search by foot to find it (the addresses don't go as you'd expect). It's a nice location, about a 10-15 minute walk to town (a bit of a hill walking back). There was a bag with paper towels, a sponge & dish soap, a couple washer pods, and a few dishwasher pods (nice touch). The main entrance is on the 2nd floor, with lots of stairs from where you park. Second Floor: The queen bed in the master bedroom is comfortable, and was on the main level with the kitchen, family room, and a full bathroom. Third Floor: The other bedroom is upstairs and has a queen sleeper sofa (terrible mattress, but we found a 2" mattress topper under the bunk bed in the other area. the mattress topper made all the difference!). There are bunk beds upstairs as well (bottom bunk was comfortable, but the top bunk was TERRIBLE!), just outside the bedroom. There is no bathroom upstairs. First Floor: There is a very tight spiral staircase down to the bottom floor. This is where there is a pool table/ping pong table set up. We had fun playing pool, but all the ping pong balls were broken so we didn't get to play. There is a washer and dryer, along with the 2nd full bath. I strongly suggest you bring your own pillows (luckily we did), because the pillows provided were very flat and uncomfortable. There isn't very good water pressure, but we didn't need to wash our hair during our stay so it was fine. The towels were nice and soft, and the home was clean and comfortable. Great decks that are surrounded by pines (beautiful). The BBQ worked fine, though they need a new cover.
