So close to Laneda Ave where all the shops and dining places are located. 5 minute walk to beach. 2 minutes off Hwy. 101. Extremely clean, soft comfy beds, stocked kitchen (you just need to buy the food!) and loved the washer/dryer! Highly recommend for 2-4 people.

Cute cottage in a perfect location!

This house is just as advertised. Clean, cute, updated, and well-outfitted. It’s literally 50 feet from the main street in town, so if you like something more out of the way be warned. But we loved it and would stay again.

This was a very cute little home, everything was prepped and clean, except some of the pots and pans that are hidden in the cupboards (watch out!). The location was perfect for quick access to my favorite shops and stops to enjoy the scenery without our car. It's a very spacious little home with awesome amenities, my husband and I fell in love with the covered patio and the firepit; we spent most of our time out there enjoying our little meals and playing games. The most surprising part of our stay was how comfortable the master bed was; historically, beds that are cloud soft or extra cushiony tend to hurt my back muscles, but not this one! I couldn't stop taking naps!

Two items that irritated me; there was a pitcher of 'filtered' water left in the fridge - to me, that was really sweet, unfortunately, I don't think the filter in the pitcher was changed because the water tasted AWFUL. I don't remember coastal water tasting so bad, but do not drink this home's tap water. I'm sure it's honestly fine, but I'm just a sensitive baby and I don't like my water to have a taste/odor.

The second thing was the fancy heater/ac pumps; the owners made a note in the manual that they didn't want us to change any settings except the temp, which we respected. We ended up just turning the temp to 60 degrees since we couldn't turn it off or change settings (I'm not a fan of air blowing constantly). There is a fan directly above the bed in the master, and it was just constantly dry air in the room which made me have a dry, irritated throat.

It's not the best, but still, try and book this home if you have a chance. You won't regret it.
Manager response:
We appreciate your feedback, Holly. The pitcher in the Brita filter has been changed. It is true the homeowner has asked that the air conditioner not be turned off, and we apologize if this caused any discomfort. Hopefully we'll get to host you again!

We booked this as a birthday weekend trip for my wife, son and I, it was wonderful! Only a few blocks from the beach and just steps from a lovely wine bar and the towns main walk. The place was great and cozy with a gas fireplace- perfect for a February getaway!

A sweet, little beach house. A great value for Manzanita, with updated kitchen and bath, walking distance to town and beach.

Loved our stay here. Everything was clean and the linens soft. The kitchen was fully stocked although we didn’t do much cooking. The only problem was getting the TV to work. I was finally able to figure out the DVD player but no luck with the TV. There are instructions but they were not detailed enough. 3 remotes. Perhaps the internet connection was off to the TV. Not sure. Otherwise, this house was perfect.
Manager response:
We're happy to hear you enjoyed your stay, Jane! We are sorry to hear that you had some issues operating the TV. Please know that our guest services team is available 24/7 to assist with anything you may need. We appreciate your feedback and we will use this to make improvements for future reservations. We hope to have the chance to host you again soon for another great stay!

What a great little house, put together well, with a fully stocked kitchen, neat outdoor area, covered back patio, and comfortable beds.

We were quite unimpressed with Vacasa, however, as we were left with less than a quarter of a roll of paper towels, no dish soap, no shower soap, a coffee container in the kitchen with a few crumbs in the bottom, and truck-stop quality of paper goods (paper towels and toilet paper). It just felt like Vacasa put together their touches as cheap and quickly as possible. These little touches, done right, make such a difference in a vacation rental experience. Also, check-in time at 4 seemed late, and check out at 10 felt rushed.
Manager response:
Hi, Daniel. Thank you for choosing our home. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We are very sorry for not providing the necessary toiletries and paper products for your stay, which was a mistake on our part. We do provide starter packs of paper products, toiletries, and detergents to all our guests. We are disappointed to hear how this negatively impacted your experience and hope for an opportunity to better impress you in the future!

Can’t beat the location!
Fully stocked and spacious.
Cozy and comfy!

We loved our stay at the cottage. The home was spacious, very clean, and well-stocked. It was less than a minute walk to the main street in Manzanita and about a 10-minute walk down to the beach. If you take the back roads it quiet and pretty. The home's kitchen, bathroom, and master bedroom seemed to be recently renovated and the rest of the house was charming. The exterior spaces were super cute and useful too. The surfer bedroom off of the living room is a little tight but fine for sleeping and getting to the beach early.

Great location, first house right off the main street! Back garden oasis, with outdoor bocce ball and horseshoes. So many flowers and plants in bloom.
Unfortunately, there were a few things they could improve upon. For instance, the coffee pot had not been cleaned, and the microwave was dirty. We were not provided with an extra roll of paper towels, and ran out of the roll we had which was not new. The description said bikes would be available, but we could not find any.
Manager response:
Alan, thank you for staying with us and taking the time to give us your feedback. We apologize for the details that were amiss. The coffee maker and the microwave have been cleaned. Vacasa does provide starter packs of supplies which include paper towels. If those supplies are not present on your arrival, we are more than happy to bring them to you. We are glad you enjoyed your stay in our home and we look forward to showing you exceptional service in the future!

Great cottage with lovely amenities close to the beach and to the main street in Manzanita. Many thoughtful upgrades and feature. Our family really enjoyed our visit!

The cottage was so beautiful, so clean and welcoming. It was a short walk to the beach in a killer location. Barely drove anywhere. It was so nice to be able to relax in and unwind here...wish I could have just moved in.

This house is 1/4 mile from the beach and just footsteps away from the main drag, so the location is perfect. The house was immaculately clean and both bedrooms were very comfortable. The kitchen is more than adequate if you enjoying eating in, and there are other amenities, like games, books and an amazing porch with a firepit. It is on the smallish side, just two bedrooms, but perfect for a family or two couples. I loved this place, would rent again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I stayed for the 4th of July weekend and had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect. Comfortable, very clean and well taken care of. The horse shoe pit in the back was a fun surprise. Can’t wait to come back.
Julianne S. Jun 2019
Loved the cabin- close to main strip, decent privacy, cute yard, comfy beds and it was clean! A few suggestions- make gas fireplaces available for use, have bikes available (said seasonal, but it was June, which seems seasonal. Thank you!
Manager response:
Julianne, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We apologize the bikes weren't more readily available for use. We do encourage guests to call our 24/7 Guest Services line with any questions or concerns so we may address them right away. The gas fireplaces are operational, but not for use in the summertime per the homeowner's request. We look forward to hosting you again!

This house was precious. Fully equipped kitchen and immaculately clean, lots of cozy extras like puzzles and dvds. And so incredibly close to mainstreet Laneda made walking around town and to the beach a breeze.
Fredrick W. May 2019
Perfect location. You can walk to restaurants and the beach. Clean with everything you need! Would definitely stay here again!!!
