Fish & raft at this riverfront home w/ hot tub, firepit & large screened porch!
Spend your days fishing, rafting, and tubing on the Toccoa River at this three-bedroom Blue Ridge retreat, a wonderfully appointed riverfront home with a private hot tub and firepit, a game room with a pool table, and a spacious deck and screened porch for enjoying the North Georgia beauty that surrounds you!
You'll find this home in the Aska Adventure Area nine miles southeast of downtown Blue Ridge, where it sits directly on the shores of the Toccoa River. Pass the morning hours rafting and fishing for trout right outside your door, gather the troops for a family hike to Fall Branch Falls (four miles west) or Springer Mountain at the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail (19 miles south), or head into downtown Blue Ridge to go antiquing or catch a movie at the legendary Swan Drive-In Theatre.
Wake up each morning to the sounds of the river and of the leaves swaying in the breeze, and make your way into the kitchen (with a dishwasher) to prepare breakfast as a family. Bring your coffee outside to the expansive screened-in porch, head down to the river's edge to cast a morning line, or use the free WiFi to make plans for the day ahead. Whether you choose to go for a hike or play putt-putt at Lilly Pad Village nearby, you'll come home to lunch on the gas grill, a soothing soak in the private hot tub, and a friendly game of nine-ball on the pool table in the game room. Each evening, you can reconnect with your loved ones as you sit down for dinner outside, tell stories around the firepit, and retreat indoors to watch movies and play games in the warmth of the gas fireplace.
You'll never forget the days you spend on the shores of the Toccoa River - begin planning your family retreat to Blue Ridge today!

We spent two nights at the Riverwatch Retreat with two small children. The home is very nice, roomy, comfortable and the location and setting are spectacular. Kitchen is well appointed. I rated 4 out of 5 only because it wasn't as clean as I would expect for a home of this caliber. Many of the linens were old or worn, and the hot tub and screened-in-porch areas were not well maintained. A simple cleaning, especially of the floors, is an easy fix and would make a huge difference. Otherwise our stay was really enjoyable, great to disconnect, and would recommend.
We appreciate the guests feedback. This cabin has been part of our linen program for a few months, the Local Manager will inspect them to make sure that they are switched out and new. The porches and floors have been addressed by the Housekeeping Manager and will be cleaned.
Wow! The river watch retreat was just the place we had hoped for! From great views and sounds from the flowing river each and every day, the tubing right up to the house, to group dinners on the screened in porch...Could not have asked for a more comfortable, welcoming place and neighborhood for an outdoorsy vacation! Plus just a 10-15’ trek to town and the lake with lots of great hikes/falls near by. Thank you Riverwatch Retreat for your hospitality!
This is a great cabin! It's well maintained and has plenty of room. We enjoyed it very much and would choose it again.
The owners of Sundance are awesome people and very helpful. The truly care about the well being, comfort, and safety of the guest.
We enjoyed our stay at River Watch Retreat. The cabin was lovely, comfortable, and clean. Thank you!
My husband and I stayed at the cabin with two other couples. We were all impressed how roomy the cabin was. the master room was charming and nicely decorated wth the moose theme. We all took turns cooking, the kitchen had all the items we needed to make home made meals. The dining room table was very inviting and rustic. The porch was the perfect place to enjoy our morning coffee. Had nice conversations by the river and in front of fire pit. Hot tub was the perfect place to end our exhausting day. We all enjoyed our stay very much, starting to plan our next year's trip. You can't go wrong with this place, it has everything you need and more. Absolutely recommend it!
We loved the riverwatch cabin that we stayed in!! It was very spacious, clean, & we loved the warm fun decor. There were lots of beds & the screened in porch was amazing!! we went for hikes, tubing down the river lots of times, fished, caught lightning bugs & frogs, roasted hot dogs & made s'mores by the fire pit... the list goes on. We stayed outside enjoying nature most of the time, even when it rained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will definitely be back!! The only complaints that we had were the ants inside(to be expected in the mountains I know) & the hot tub. The hot tub water smelled horrible & was super murky & green. I contacted the front office & the lady was very helpful & instructed us on what to do. We put more shock in as instructed at 2 different times but it did not help. We made sure to wash off really good with the hose before getting in each time too but it didn't make a difference. The kids still enjoyed though. Thanks!!
Perfect place for my husband and me and our 2 sons, their wives, 3 teenage grandchildren and one of their friends. Plenty of beds and bathroom space. It would have been nice if there was a place on the upper porch for a hammock. We floated the river, fished and sat around the camp fire while our grandson played the guitar. Enjoyed our time at the cabin.
Everything was absolutely perfect! We will be back
It is a great cabin for our family. Everything was excellent. We will come again to this cabin.
We loved the cabin, can't wait to rent it again for a longer stay! Absolutely Beautiful!!
We loved the Luxury Cabin, tons of space. We will return soon.
Excellent communications regarding cabin rental fees, insurance, location, area activities and all major features of the chosen cabin. We will look forward to staying again at a Sundance Cabin Rental,....maybe in the Summer or Fall.
Our first experience with Sundance was by phone calls seeking information and then we drove to Blue Ridge and Tom graciously showed us several cabins we had viewed on the internet. Great experience and we will certainly book again.
We will definitely use Sundance in the future...top quality accomodations and extremely friendly staff.
the cabin was not cleaned when we arrived, but, the response to our call was immediate and the problem was resolved.
I loved our stay at Riverwatch Retreat! Tom and everyone was very friendly and helpful, I would definitely stay here again! Amazing view of the river and very tranquil sitting on the waters edge. The cabin was very spacious, room for everyone. I loved the different seating areas of up and downstairs. Loved the stone showers and the beds were comfortable! The cabin was well stocked with towels and kitchen had everything we needed.
A blessed weekend for our family. Perfect cabin for your children and grandchildren. Game room, table for eight, screened in porch with rocking chairs for everyone. Our sons and their families loved floating down the river. The staff was wonderful and the cabin was everything the website said it would be. One of my sons and his family are trying to stay at Riverwatch again in October. We LOVED it!!!!
Bless place! Perfect to relax, breath and no phones calls.
5th time ive stayed there . its always great
If you looking for relax, family time, fun, comfort and lot lot lot of tranquility this is the best choice, the river sound therapy is great for those stressful years of hard work, after two days there I forgot the annoying rush of the city, it's paradise, I recommend this cabin 100%
