You cannot find a rental home with a better location. Many of the windows had lake views. It was a short walk to kayak rental, ferry tickets, Tubb hill hiking, and the downtown area. We happened to visit on the Taste of Coeur D'line weekend so we had arts, crafts, food vendors, etc. We never go in the car to go anywhere else. My extended family of all ages enjoyed the accommodations, they were spacious with plenty or room to get together or take a time-out. The fenced in back yard and hot tub were great also.
What a gorgeous home! It was spacious, clean, and the layout provided privacy for people staying in separate rooms. The location was ideal for us, with the beach, the park, the resort, and the shops all within easy walking distance.
Our group loved the CDA home away from home. It adequately accommodated our group and the location is perfect, Just steps away from the Lake/Beach and a very short walk to the Resort. The kitchen was nicely stocked although we were only given one dish washer pod and no extra garbage bags. This may have been an oversight. The front patio was great for morning coffee over looking the lake and the back patio was good for evening outside chats. A few from our group used the hot tub and enjoyed it. Overall, this is a great place to stay with families or in our case, a group of life long friends.
We absolutely loved staying in this home. Location is excellent, it was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed in it.
Walked every place.......beautiful views. Loved it
Loved the location directly across from the lake. Low mobility people still had a great view of the lake and seaplanes landing on the lake. Kids had fun when visiting from other rental because of th Park next door and the beach.
Best family retreat home
Fabulous for cooking and hanging out
Roomy spaces and well taken care of
Great home, very close to downtown, with a beautiful view of the lake.
This house was in a really great location and was very much appointed with everything you need.
It would be a five star, if the home and furnishings received an update.
This is a great place to stay. Great location next to the lake and shopping. The house is very spacious. We are a group of 2 couples, 2 ladies, and 1 man all over 75 yrs of age...as such we require 5 bedrooms! The room with the sofa bed had a note that the sofa bed was broken and not to be used...not acceptable. The lady that had that room opened the sofa bed and made it work, but with some trepidation’s. A new sofa bed is needed. This was the only major issue on our stay. Also recommend taking the 1 1/2 yr boat ride around the North end of the lake.
We apologize for the broken sofa bed. It has been removed from the amenities, and we have changed the listing to reflect four bedrooms instead of five. We are very sorry these changes occurred after our guest's booked the home.
Location doesn't get any better than this. The house over looks the lake and beautiful park. Very short walk to downtown restaurants, shops, and activities. The house and furnishings are a bit dated. It's elegance is decades old. The lighting was unusually dim throughout the house. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Would probably stay here again if some minor upgrades were made.
Had a wonderful family Christmas in Couer d Alene
Greatly enjoyed the location. The view is hard to beat. Very fairly priced
This house was perfect for my 4 clients that stayed here in town. Perfect location to walk into town. Enjoy the lake right out the door and the Hot Tub was also a nice hit. They want to come back again and enjoy it next year. Thank you!
The best part of this home is the location. The house sits on the corner of the park just across from the water. It is a 5 minute walk to town. This home is in the heart of everything. We loved it and will be back!
I submitted an outstanding review already
This property is in a prime location. Vacasa was great to work with . But the televisions need to be updated badly. They are very old and two of them didn't have been working remotes. The ice maker is broken. Overall we like the home/location. But these things need to be attended to for an overall pleasurable stay.
I am from Spokane, but my wife's family was in town from Texas and Ohio, so we rented this place for the weekend and all stayed together. The proximity to the beach, the park and Sherman Ave shops was perfect for walking. Everyone had a fantastic time and is already planning on coming back in the summer.
Everything you need to rock it out in CDA.
Great family getaway...Plenty of room and well stocked!
Amazing lake views, right next to the park and easy walking distance to downtown.
We would highly recommend staying here and hope to return. Bring bikes!
Staff was very helpful, with a local representative in the area. House is very large, with multiple living areas and spaces, with large bedrooms as well. It will accommodate many people without any issue. The location is ideal for access to the college and downtown CDA. Summertime would be awesome, with across the street access to the lake and a large park.
Plumbing is old and not maintained. You won't get a single night's sleep if the property continues to be maintained as it is. It is not a 5 bedroom house as advertised. It is a 4 bedroom house and an office off the kitchen with a very cheap, unusable sofabed in it. 3 of the 4 bedrooms are downstairs in the basement, next to the large plumbing/water heater basement room. You can hear every footstep upstairs, along with the extremely loud radiant heating system which runs all night. The location is great, the layout of the house main level is good, and the master bedroom/bath are nice. But the cold/sparsely furnished basement bedrooms all have hard, lumpy mattresses, and they all share 1 old, tiny bathroom, with a shower stall that can barely fit an adult. If you are 2 people using the property in the Summer, it might be great. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
The home was in a great location. Amenities were good. Kitchen well stocked with items for cooking.
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in CDA. The house was well set up for a large group. We were able to cook multiple meals in the kitchen, despite its stove and oven being a little overly fussy and complicated to use. The hot tub was well appreciated, as was the easy access to the waterfront and downtown. The house was very clean and well furnished. We look forward to the opportunity to rent this house again, hopefully for longer next time.
Great house for a younger crowd, not so for older people. One bedroom and 2.5 baths on the main level, three bedrooms and 1 small bath on the lower (basement) level - not very convenient.
Great place overall with great views and proximity to other venues.
I can not thank you enough for hosting my friends and I for the week it made our time together very special as it maybe the last time we get to do that.
My family and I had a great time at this property. Big home with plenty of room for the 8 of us. Close to the resort and downtown. The property manager was also great and available at a moment's notice when we had questions. Very nice experience.
Awesome location! Large home with great versatility for a large group. Park and playground across the street one way and lake the other way. Loved our stay!
Best location in Coeur d'Alene for families. Beautiful views from every room, across from the beach and the park, easy walk everywhere. We love it here!
We all enjoy Coeur d 'Alene very much and stated before the property location and design really worked will for us. My wife is handicapped and the layout made her caregiving very easy and she smiled a lot....
This is the second time we have stayed at this lake home. It is the perfect location winter or summer. . . . .and we've done both. Very convenient to lake activities and you can walk to all the shops nearby.
Beautiful home -- perfect location for any age -- absolutely fabulous outdoor areas -- front patio views the park, lake and resort while the back patio provides shelter from wind and sun and access to yard and hot tub -- we had dinner there every night. Steps from everything!!! Great kitchen!! Pet friendly -- we will be back!! Thank you!!
My wife and I rented this home for a week. Easy walking distance to everything CDA has to offer downtown. It is across the street from the lake, next to a beautiful park, and a few blocks from the college.
The home itself is somewhat dated, hardly elegant. 1960's furnishing, plastic plants, light switch locations that defy logic(and often would not work), and carpet everywhere. The only windows with screens are the front and back sliders. Most windows do not open at all. If you are expecting a lake breeze in this home, you'll be dissapointed. Plenty of storage space. 3 bedrooms are in the basement, with windows, but no lake view. We choose the master bedroom suite upstairs. It was terrific save for the lack of window screens and a neighbors porch light that stayed on all night. The Kitchen has everything, and I mean everything.
The back deck is very nice, with plenty of seating and a short walk to the new Hot Tub. The gardens need tending and are overgrown. Not a deal breaker, but in this price range, I expected more TLC.
We truly enjoyed our stay! The location is unbeatable.
This house is wonderful and we were able to spread out which was great. If you have younger children the location is perfect. The park is really right across the street and has everything. Our teens loved the basketball courts. The home was clean and everything we needed was provided. The lake view is wonderful and we used the hot tub a lot. For the money we felt it was an exceptional buy and plan to come back this summer. Matt was very attentive to our needs and we appreciated his looking into everything we asked for.
Nice house near the college, lake and play area. The beds are in poor shape, otherwise found the place to be very spacious, clean and comfortable.
We apologize that the beds were not to your liking and will advise the owner of your comments. Please come again!
Large comfortable living and dining area perfect for large groups. We loved this house and would rent again. The oven is unique and difficult to understand would be helpful if there were directions, the DVD player in basement was not connected and working and most remotes missing batteries. Make sure to bring your own salt and pepper. The disappointments were few and the home very comfortable.
This lake home was in a perfect location and we booked for three nights. . . .Just feet away from beautiful Coeur d"Alene Lake, the resort, large park and downtown Main Street, all within walking distance. We came to town Coeur d'Alene to celebrate Thanksgiving with family, six adults and four children. The proximity of this house to the CDA Resort made the Resort Christmas Tree Lighting, Christmas Parade and fireworks over the lake a night to remember. We cooked a Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen and never felt crowded or on top of one another. The kitchen was well equipped with all we needed to pull this off. The home and surroundings are meticulously maintained which I appreciate when booking/using a rental vacation property. The home is large, beautifully laid out and functional, we never felt like we were in each others way. The Coeur d'Alene area is truly a winter wonderland this time of year and we were a part of it. Thank you Vacasa!
it was a great stay at the house - the windstorm coming off the lake and into the park was absolutely incredible, although the park did lose 3 large tree :-( But one cannot ask for a better location or venue. Gorgeous house, windows overlooking the lake, 5 minute walk into downtown, and perfect place to bring the dogs and there is a ton of walking space.
Location, location, location.
The walk to the resort was a great way to start the day. The kitchen was well equipped and perfect for meals in house. The social areas of the home made for comfortable home-like quality time. The home was a great alternative to a stay at the resort and was perfect for a small group of friends. The capacity and infrastructure would have allowed for spouses too, perhaps another time.
Thanks for sharing your property with us.
A fun and relaxing property in a great part of town. Close to all.
First time that we found a property to look just as good in person as it did on the internet. The home is huge and there are numerous full bathrooms. Very comfortable for multiple people staying there. Can have privacy and also lots of communal space. Back yard has an enclosed yard so safe for any pets that are brought to the property.
Amazing location with lake and park access!
great location and home spacious and comfortable...nice patio area up front for people watching...overall worth the $$$$$$$$$$$
Everything was exactly as advertised. The property was clean, well equipped and the location could not have been better!! Great experience! 5 stars!
Great house and great location, easy access to town and great views of the lake.
This is a fantastic house in an excellent location. Convenient to downtown. Beautiful lake and park views.
