Spacious, lakefront cabin w/covered porch, views, & firepit on the shore - dogs
Privacy and comfort are yours when you stay in this spacious cabin on Brassua Lake. Revel in views from your front porch or get warm and cozy with a fire on the shore. Your beloved dogs are also welcome for a small nightly fee.
This new post-and-beam cabin is nestled at the edge of Brassua Lake, the last on a dead-end dirt road. Your backyard gently slopes down to a sandy beach and the water, allowing you to swim, kayak, or canoe (one is available for guests) anytime you like. And you'll be only five miles from Rockwood proper for in-town conveniences.
The Maine cabin decor and stone fireplace create a welcoming open-design living area. Bask in the light filtering in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, or relax on the large, wrap-around deck and watch the sun set. You'll also have free WiFi and a private washer/dryer in addition to all the comforts of home.

I spent the weekend at this lovely cabin with my family, we ice fished, snowmobiled and the kids enjoyed the air hockey table. It was very warm and cozy inside the cabin and plenty of space for us all.

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting!

We had a great stay and the lake to ourselves. It took a little while to find the write wifi password and getting the heat set but after that it was fantastic stay

The house was everything we could want in a great setting. Sleeping arrangements and cooking equipment were fine for our 2 family adventure. The grill, however, was in unusable condition. We cooked on the coals at the fire circle. We did use the canoe provided.
Do not go to Brassua to seriously fish. There is excellent fishing nearby at Moosehead. We hiked at Mt. Williams and Mt. Kineo and the views are stunning.
We would definitely recommend this house and would return.

We loved the Partridge Road Retreat house! My husband, 4 kids (ages 15,14,13 and 11) and two dogs enjoyed our stay.
The home is beautiful. The lake is spectacular.... you really feel like you have the lake to yourself.
We had an issue with the grill that was resolved within 24 hours - which was much appreciated! We brought all of our own food, as we were unfamiliar with the area.
Great area to get away from it all and to unplug. There was WiFi that went out a few times (according to the teenagers) and that was fine with us!
It is a 30 minute ride to Greenville - where there are a few places to eat and a grocery store... we enjoyed the Lake, ATVing, Whitewater Rafting, and Hiking....(along with finishing up some summer reading for back to school ;-)
Great place to reconnect and get away from the busy days of life...
FYI - There is an AMAZING coffee shop in Greenville across from the Grocery store.... Great coffee and homemade desserts and lunches. They are only open in the summer months.

We have been coming to the Moosehead Lake region for the last 6 summers. This is our 3rd time staying in this house, we just LOVE everything about the house and location. The husband and kids fish every day of our trip and they have not been disappointed! This house is very private and secluded but still not too far from town. The house itself is very charming and the owners made some upgrades to furniture since last year which we enjoyed very much! Such and amazing week to unwind in a beautiful quiet place 💙

Rained every day but who cares when you have a place like this. We had some breaks in the weather to get outside and enjoy the lake views. Great place for some major R&R!

This place was fantastic. The location was perfect. Far enough away yet close enough if you need something. The home was extremely clean and well cared for. Anytime you had a question there was usually a small piece of paper tacked to the wall with the answer. House was so big we didn’t even go downstairs. We had to call the 1-800 number once and received outstanding help. I couldn’t ask for more. Will definitely look to go back.

Our favorite vacation spot! We hope if there are new owners that they will continue to rent the property. We love the peace and quiet, the clean spacious house and the beautiful view of the lake.
