This cabin is situated along the shore of Moosehead Lake. You can look out from the cabin at the water and at a small island across the way. The downstairs is open concept and has a roughly 24'x24' floor plan. Upstairs is an open loft-like sleeping area.

The kitchen was generally well-equipped. We stayed there mid-October which was beginning to push the heater's abilities on a cold day, but we were comfortable the whole while.

We loved the cabin and would love to come back. Perfect location and accommodations.

The nature around is breathtaking. Have no words to explain it. The week we spend there was amazing. Cabin has all you need for staying . For people who likes camping excellent place to stay .

We’ve stayed in another cabin on Moosehead Lake for years that kept getting more expensive over the years. This was a gem and much less expensive!

Kitchen was pretty good. There is a new fridge since the photos - and it does have a freezer. There’s also a grill in the deck for cooking. It was great.

The main downside was that this cabin didn’t provide wood for campfires. You can buy it in Greenville, but that’s one thing we’ve appreciated at other cabins in the past. You may also want to bring some citronella candles to keep the bugs away.

Overall, we had a fun week and would recommend this cabin.

Its right on the water and you have your own private dock. Peaceful to stay and relax, or plenty to do like hiking, fishing and boating.

We had a wonderful couple days at this cabin! It’s one of the prettiest, most tranquil spots I’ve ever been lucky enough to stay. Thank you!

If you want a quiet, off-the-beaten-path location, this is the place for you! The home was right on the lake with a great patio and an amazing view.

We were there in October and the fall colors were awesome!

The home has all the basic necessities and was cozy.

One thing to note: the cell phone service in the entire Moosehead Lake area is pretty limited. It was nice to unplug for awhile, just be prepared to have no to very-limited service!

The view was amazing, and it had everything we needed for a wonderful, peaceful stay. I didn’t want to leave.

Lots of open space for a couple. Loved the high ceiling. Very well equipped kitchen. Cabin faces east so you can see the sun rise over the lake and island (beautiful!). But upstairs is dark enough if you like to sleep in. Queen size bed/mattress is very comfortable!

Great location for a relaxed, quiet place on the water to regroup. You can hike, canoe, kayak or just read a book and nap. Perfect get away!!!!!!!

We stayed here for our honeymoon last year and loved it so much we had to book it for our first anniversary! This place is so perfect for a getaway, it's rustic but clean, the dock is perfect for relaxing on, and although neighbors are near they're not very visible due to trees and we often forgot they were there. Kayaking, wildlife, a huge deck for bbq-ing and a firepit between the cabin and water. So great! We'll be back!

My husband and I spent a week here just resting and reading and playing board games. We loved it!

We spent most of our weekend outside on the spacious deck or down on the dock admiring the mountain view.
Definitely reccomend taking the short ferry ride to Mt. Kineo and doing some exploring.

Cozy, clean and had everything we needed. I love that it is nestled in the woods. We spent most of our time on the dock, it was so beautiful! The decks and fire pit were nice too. One of our best vacations ever! Thank you for sharing this lovely home.
We spent a great day hiking to the summit of Mt. Kineo. There’s a water shuttle ($13) that runs from Rockwood.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here for 4 days and I wish we could have stayed longer. The house was immaculate, just the right amount of comfort and rustic. We spent many nights listening to loons on the floating dock, kayaked during the day, and spent the early mornings fishing. It's just far enough away from town (about 20min) to feel like you're away from it all, but it's an easy trek to town to snag groceries or breakfast. We'll definitely be back!

The lake was absolutely beautiful. The cabin was cute and cozy. My only regret is not staying longer.

We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck with great views all day long. The proximity to the best fly fishing was great too. Next time we plan on bringing our sea kayaks as the waves were abit much for canoeing. Would love to return next year.
