Tree-lined cottage w/deck & hammock - half mile to bayshore beaches

Spend the summer amid lush woodlands and wildflowers at this two-bedroom Eastham cottage, a darling Cape Cod escape with a private deck, a tree-lined yard with a hammock, and easy walking access to Cooks Brook Beach!

This blue cottage sits among the trees in North Eastham, half a mile east of the bayshore at Cooks Brook Beach. Catch gorgeous sunrises at Nauset Lighthouse three miles east, and alternate between Campground Beach (one mile southwest), Nauset Light Beach, and Coast Guard Beach (four miles southeast) for wonderful days of swimming and sunbathing.

Open the windows each morning to let in the summer breeze and flip pancakes on the stainless steel gas stove in the kitchen. Bring your plates outside to the deck or the picnic table, stack the dishwasher for easy clean-up, and grab a towel from the washer/dryer on your way out the door to the beach. Come home to rinse off in the outdoor shower, nap in the hammock, and spend the evening browsing the free WiFi and watching movies in the comfort of the wood stove.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cerulean Cottage, it's really cosy and in a great location. There's a beach within walking distance and several others an easy drive away. The road is extremely quiet and it was lovely to sit out in the garden having a barbecue. Provincetown is a half hour drive away and well worth visiting, also whale watching trips run from there.
The house made a great base for visiting the Cape and if the bathroom had been more up to date we'd have give the property 5 stars. We'd definitely stay there again!

What a place to get away to. Rustic charm and quiet neighborhood makes this place a hidden mid-century find. We plan to come again!

Quiet neighborhood. Minutes from bay coast and ocean coast. Lovely interior. Complete kitchen with all needed pots, pans, utensils, etc. Loved the books in the house!! Ample blankets, pillows and heating sources. Nice yard for kids to play.

We loved the location. We toured the whole island. This was the perfect spot. Quiet but close to Provincetown (we have all decided the coolest town we have ever been to) and the beach.

They lost a star for the the lack of coffee. Coffee machines yes, but who carries around their own ground coffee? (And the machines were not the little cup kind).

Also-not a problem for this fit family- but likely for others, the bathroom is actually smaller than code (if that is possible). If you are a little big in the middle or ripped with muscle you will LITERALLY not fit between the sink and the toilet.

No worries for us but you could get there and not be able to use the toilet...

The outdoor shower was a fun plus too.
It is also completely equipped for cooking. We went out, but almost wished we were there for a week so we could just cook our own meals.

Not only was this cottage just a 1/2 mile (10 - 15 minute walk) from the beach, it had everything I needed to be comfortable! It was a quiet spot with a great deck and backyard, and the cottage was wonderfully cozy!
