I loved how everything was nice and organized. The staff was pretty amazing when I needed help with something they were on top of it. I am defiantly going to rent this place again
This was an amazing spot. Would highly recommend this house.
My girlfriend and I chose this place as the pictures on display made it look like a cozy, but spacious place to stay. And we were not disappointed. It's space was perfect for two people to move around in and feel at home. The decor was felt welcoming and charming in every room. Having the needed utensils to cook with was also a pleasant feature as it gave us days were we could cook for each other. Would stay here again on our next visit or recommend it in an instant to friends
We stayed here for a weekend getaway. House is adorable! Projector was easy to use, hot tub was great, kitchen was pretty well equipped and the neighbors aren’t noisy. The beds and couch were a little uncomfortable though. However, would definitely stay there again!
We loved the house, the everything was super nice and easy to walk to downtown.
This house was very clean and comfortable to stay in. It's in walking distance to lots of restaurants and the lake. Also had a hot tub which was very relaxing. My only complaint would be the TV/projector set up in the living room, it was very weird and hard to use. Also you have to get up and get into a closet in the hallway to turn the volume up or down, that was a little inconvenient. But overall was a really good stay.
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! Sorry to hear about the trouble you had with operating the projector. We hope you will give us a call next time. Our friendly, dedicated staff is ready and available 24/7 to assist. We look forward to hosting you again soon!
We enjoyed all the amenities of the cottage on Foster, rode the bikes to the nearby path on the lake and downtown. The hot tub was very clean and worked perfectly. Look forward to staying in the summer someday!
We stayed for a girls' weekend away. This house was perfect. We loved the hot tub and outdoor area, the projector tv, and the beds were plenty comfy. We were able to walk to bars and dance club which was perfect. Would definitely return.
Our family loved the bikes at the house and used them a lot. We also loved the yard for our dog and we loved the hot tub. Wifi worked great and the house was clean and comfortable. There was also a window AC unit that kept the house pretty comfortable even though it was over 100 degrees outside. Having 1 bathroom was a little inconvenient and the sound seemed a little off on the TV but other than that, it was a very pleasant stay. If we visit CDA again, we will definitely be back.
Nice location. We were able to walk to restaurants, parks and shopping.
We enjoyed the unique features of the home, as well as being close to downtown and the lake.
A very modern and cozy get away. The kitchen is very well equipped and the hot tub was quite a luxury.
overall a pretty good value
was a very nice house! extremely close to downtown (can walk if you would like), they provided bikes in the garage as well so you don't need to take your car. Very lovely and fun to stay at this house
The Cottage Escape in Coeur D'Alene is a lovely little place close to downtown and the lake. The cottage itself has a lovely little yard where you can curl up on the swing with a good book, or grill and entertain, while the back has privacy and a hot tub for a romantic getaway with your significant other.
This house worked out really well for us. We had 4 adults. At first I was worried about the trundle bed situation, but it turned out fine. The place was quite clean and the neighborhood was nice. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the front yard.
We were absolutely impressed with this property and would absolutely stay there again! It was so quaint and charming and we really wish we would have stayed longer.
Cute cottage in great location within walking distance to lake, park/beach, Tubbs Hill, restaurants, grocery..
the bikes were a nice bonus. Enjoyed the quaint garden out front and the surrounding trees made a nice shade canopy to escape the heat. We didn't like the fact that the back door did not lock leaving us/belongings vulnerable and some of the furnishings (mainly the dining table) were in bad condition and/or dated. Bed was comfy and shower had great water pressure, cottage had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.
We are glad to see this guest enjoyed a pleasant stay. The back door knob does lock though the deadbolt does not, and access to the backdoor is restricted by lockable gates to the carport and hot tub area. The dining room table is slightly outdated, but it is in good condition as are all the other furnishings in the home. Thank you!
Not fancy, but clean and a great location to downtown. Would stay there again .
We loved the cottage! The front garden is peaceful and beautiful. See you again soon.
What I liked - convenience, quietness of the neighborhood, safety, the beautiful garden, home theater and ability to stream movies, washer/dryer, linens, bikes, hot tub. What I didn't like: dated furniture, old smelling, no dishwasher or garbage disposal, no drawers for clothing.
This quaint cottage was very comfortable with modern aesthetics, everything you could need, great location, and lots to entertain oneself if a night in is desired.
Love the location, love the property. Hot tub and bikes are a lovely addition to this house!
The home was clean, located in a nice, quiet neighborhood close to downtown and perfect for a single traveling for business. The projection tv in the living room was awesome and I really appreciated the ease of use of the media center setup and the Chromecast, although figuring out the switching of inputs in the bedroom took a bit even for a tech savvy guy like me. The hot tub was nice too. The only thing I'd recommend is to remove the cigarette butt container from the area near the front door. The smell of cigs at the entry makes for a bad first impression unless you're a smoker.
Housekeeping will ensure the cigarette butts are cleaned out before guest arrival. Thank you!
This is a beautiful cottage with lots of privacy. We loved our stay! The only trouble we had was that the WiFi and tvs never worked, but since we weren't there for the media time we didn't mind.
We're sorry the wifi didn't work during their stay. The property manager will troubleshoot and resolve the issue immediately.
Stayed in this lovely little house over New Year 2016/17. Had a wonderful time here with my husband and three boys. The house had everything we needed, and we enjoyed the home cinema, the hot tub outside, and just sitting in the kitchen/livingroom playing games.
The house is perfectly situated, close to restaurants and shops, and the beautiful lake. :)
Close to shopping and the lake! We loved the hot tub!. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need for a mini vacation!
It was a great little spot, clean, and very modern on the inside!
We really enjoyed staying here. The cottage is cozy with one true bedroom, another private enclosed room with a daybed, a pull out bed in the living room couch, and one bathroom. It's nicely furnished and decorated, equipped with everything you'd need (including bikes, laundry, and a hot tub), has nice TV and music options in every room, and a very pretty front yard for a barbecue or to sit in a chair and read or relax. It's less than a 10 minute walk to downtown. The owner is kind and helpful. Our group really enjoyed staying here and recommend it highly.
Great being within walking distance to downtown - not the firehall. Other than the few fire truck calls it was peaceful. Although there was no A/C it stayed cool enough with the tree cover and fans! Well equipped kitchen and the BBQ was great. Overall it was a pleasant place to spend our time and I would for sure stay there again.
If it is just 2 or 3 people great place to stay within walking distance of downtown. Greatest things: Private hot tub, projection HDTV w/ chrome-cast, 3 ways to listen to music indoor and out, and full kitchen with extras. Would recommend.
This place is totally redone on the inside and has a beautiful yard. It is right downtown and I was able to walk down to the taco truck both nights. I would highly recommend the quesadilla :) The home has surround sound music which was really fun for me and my family. This is a perfect spot for a small family or a pair of couples. Definitely check this home out if you're staying in CDA and are looking for a fun downtown experience!
An amazingly clean, comfortable home. Master bed unbelievably comfortable. Awesome jacuzzi and location couldn't be better. Great owner, a must visit!!
It was the perfect place for us to get away and relax, and close enough to walk to downtown. Especially enjoyed the hot tub!
Other than hot tub needing new water (kinda dirty and musty). This place was great!
Very close to everything. Frankie's Hoagies was awesome for breakfast all homemade yummmm!!!!
Lovely, quaint cottage in CDA, walking distance to everything! House was very cute and cozy, hot tub very refreshing after a cold bike ride. We really enjoyed looking through the book of renovations as well. Outdoor landscaping was nicely done and adds to the charm of the place. The updated technology (USB chargers, LED lighting, Chromecast) gives this vintage home a more modern feel. Will definitely stay again!
The place was nice and quiet. I slept great and the hot tub was in great shape. It just had some sand in it that needed to be cleaned out. I couldn't figure out the tv in the bedroom but the projector screen in the living room made up for it.
The house was nice but there was a very large and loud party thrown about 4 feet away. I had to call the police multiple times for noise complaints. I felt bad for the owners with this situation because it is obviously a well cared for house.
This cottage was lovely. It is very comfortable and homey with many thoughtful details. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space. It is a great value for a good price. We would definitely recommend this cottage and would stay here again.
This was a lovely place to stay with our 7 year old granddaughter. It's private yet within walking distance to the lake set in a quiet historic neighborhood. A big plus was the piano/keyboard where we played many tunes.
