Rustic dog-friendly beach home on Neskowin Marsh Golf Course + 2 blocks to beach

Perfect for golf lovers and beach lovers alike, this charming, dog-friendly, three-bedroom Neskowin vacation rental is located right across the way from the historic Neskowin Marsh Golf Course's second tee-box. Sit on the deck and watch golfers play or take a stroll down to the beach and relax on the sand. This Neskowin getaway also includes a detached third bedroom with a covered walkway - allowing for extra privacy that is great for older kids or anyone who wants a secluded space at bedtime.

Sleepy little Neskowin is nestled between Pacific City to the north and Lincoln city to the south. You can pass the evenings watching sunsets behind Proposal Rock and the days viewing the "ghost forest" of tree stumps along Neskowin's uncrowded, scenic beach. And when you stay here, you'll find easy access to the sand: just two blocks from your front door!

When you do spend time indoors, the 2nd Tee at Neskowin Village is a laid-back, comfortable retreat for your Oregon Coast retreat. A large, sunny living room has spots for everyone on the sectional sofa and two comfy easy chairs. Settle back in the evenings for some cable TV, a DVD, or even a movie on video. And if you forget your favorites from home, there's a library of films to choose from, along with books to borrow, and boardgames to play!

There's seating for meals at the large wooden table in the open living room and in the full kitchen, you'll have a bright, spacious work area for all of your culinary creations. Grind fresh coffee beans in the mornings, make smoothies with the blender, Sunday waffles with the waffle iron - there's even a mixer if you feel like doing a little baking. Leave cleanup to the dishwasher as you admire a stunning sunset outside.

From the kitchen there's a door out to the large deck. Out here, you can relax with afternoon cocktails, watch the golfers, or fire up the gas grill for burgers and steaks.

Two bedrooms at this Neskowin escape are located just off the living room and the third is just down an outside, covered walkway. Beds include one queen and two full sized mattresses, with room for up to six guests, with a maximum of six adults. Bedrooms are light, bright, and comfortable with reading lamps, bedside tables, and cozy bedding. When you stay here you can also bring up to two dogs on vacation with you. Furry family members are welcome, though a nightly fee per dog and minimum fee per stay will apply.

Additional amenities include a washer and dryer, WiFi, and a stereo with a CD player. You'll definitely have all the comforts of home when you stay at this Neskowin vacation rental.

Neskowin is short on crowds but packed with activities and things to do during your stay! In the summer months, there's a Farmers and Craft Market on Saturdays at the State Park Wayside. And when you need supplies, you can head to the Neskowin Market for a deli, a great wine selection, take-and-bake pizzas, and anything else you could need during your stay. On nights that you don't feel like making dinner, the Cafe on Hawk Creek is regionally famous for great food and a lively atmosphere - just make sure to try an amazing cinnamon roll for breakfast and a pizza fresh out of the wood-fired brick oven for dinner!

Of course with beach access just a couple of blocks away, you might be tempted to spend most of your time outdoors. Also, the golf! Take advantage of this location by spending some time on the green right next door. Golf club rentals are available at the Neskowin Marsh Golf Course and the golf rates are quite reasonable.

For a fun family getaway to the beach or even a getaway with friends, this Oregon Coast vacation rental is hard to beat! With a great location in Neskowin, you'll be all set to enjoy the beach, nearby parks and trails, the golf course, and the stunning Pacific Ocean!

This is a great place to stay in Neskowin. The cottage is in the village and close to the golf course. It's a quick walk to the beach. The furniture is old and a little worn, but the owners have updated the flooring and the kitchen appliances. It is a very comfortable place to stay and we will be back.

We liked the modern kitchen and bathrooms. It was nice having a separate house that wasn’t tightly located with other homes. The bedrooms worked out well for us and the living area is a nice place to gather and the kitchen/dining table was nice and large for our group of six, but it could fit more than that. Being by the golf course was also nice and a short walk to the clubhouse. I have golfed at Neskowin a few times and the course was in good condition. The beach is always great at Neskowin and we enjoyed showing the area to family visiting from Ohio.

Close to golf course and only a couple of blocks from the beach.

Nice space and layout for my family of 4 and two dogs. Quiet street with easy access to the beach!

Great little house, had everything we needed. Excellent location.
Ann M. Jul 2019
This house has been completely refurbished and is quite charming. We would go back any time.

great place we always book this house

We have stayed at Second Tee four or five times now, in the winter/early spring months when the golf course is still a wetland. Great location for walking through town, getting to the beach, checking out the birdsong. The home is well laid out and very comfortable. We will be back!

Easy for dogs to get in and out of house and access yard, beach, and golf course.

I loved all the windows. The deck. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with about anything you would need. The beds were comfy. Nice little place.

This is at least our 3rd stay here over the years. It never has let us down, and they're constantly improving.

This home, while only a short distance from the beach, is shabby and badly in need of updates. Lots of windows, but very few actually open. One queen bed which squeaks with the slightest movement and one double bed, both with linens that had seen better days. I dropped an item behind the dresser and discovered an area that hadn’t seen a vacuum in many months. The blinds were dirty. There wasn’t a gas grill available as advertised and it took three days for one to be delivered. The deck could have been a great amenity, but there was absolutely nothing on it except a cheap table and plastic chairs. On the positive side, the dining room table was spacious and, although lumpy and somewhat saggy, there was plenty of seating in the living room. Lots of interesting stuff on the walls to look at. Plenty of hooks and shelves outside to stow your gear. Only a short distance to the beach and an easy walk to the cafe.
Manager response:
We appreciate the guests feedback. The owner updated the sheets prior to the peek season and while this home is very old the owner has been working hard to add to it. The owner has added a second bathroom, a new dishwasher and fridge as well as having replaced the deck boards, power washing them and restaining them. They look forward to uplifting the home further in the winter once the peek season is over. Local staff will contact the owner about replacing the outside table and chairs and our housekeeping staff has been talked to about vacuuming under all the beds and furniture.

Large living room, kitchen, dinning table. Comfortable beds. Just a really short walk to beach. VERY quiet. Surrounded by lovely neighbors.
Evelyn H. Jul 2018
Well stocked with all necessities and perfect location! We did repair some old nails on deck floor that were a small problem but really loved it!!!🤗
Todd F. Jul 2018
We thoroughly enjoyed our time, but the issues with the house and what we were charged left me less than overjoyed. DVD did not work, an ongoing problem if you read the reviews. Deck and porch need boards replaced, will be a real hazard soon. The house, other than those problems fit our needs nicely, although it would be nice to know what outside garbage cans belong to the house. The little golf course had events almost every night and the breakfast sandwiches at the deli were amazing. Quick jaunt into to Lincoln City, 15 minutes and about 30 minutes to Tillamook. Wonderful local people and the Ghost Forest and Proposal Rock were cool to climb and see.
Manager response:
We are glad to see this guest enjoyed the home despite some issues. We are replacing the DVD player and replacing the bad deck boards. There is a garbage corral located directly in front of the house adjacent to the driveway. Thank you!

My family and I had a blast at this location. I have been coming to Neskowin since I was just a a little kid and this was my first time trying out a new place and using Vacasa. It was incredible relaxing and Vacasa did a great job at making sure it felt like home. Would rent again any day!

Nice new dishwasher

A great house in a perfect coast village.
Mike P. Nov 2017
Close to beach and golf course. Clean and lots of space. Three separate bedrooms is awesome! Very comfortable.
Rebecca E. Aug 2017
This was a great house to rent for a larger family. Plenty of space and sleeping accommodations. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and subtleties like paper towels, dish soap, salt and pepper, and many other items. Only thing missing was the view and sound of the ocean!
Cori P. Aug 2017
Beautiful location. Very safe and open community. Lots to see and do, places to eat and beaches to walk on. Private and low traffic.

The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. Do not leave any food sitting out however, as there is an ant problem. Also, I rented the property to be used for 7/8 people, but there were not enough beds for that many, even sleeping two people to each. There is an additional sleeping room attached to the car port, but it was being used for storage and was not made up to accommodate visitors.
Manager response:
We apologize for any confusion with the converted carport. It is the owners' personal area and is not advertised as sleeping space. Ants are always a problem this time of year, so the usual ant bait has been set out and should take care of the problem. Thank you!
Kathleen Q. Jul 2017
Really enjoyed our stay, great location! If you want to golf, just walk down the street, if you want to go to the beach, just a short walk away, we just walked to everything. Several decks, roomy kitchen, dining area and living room. We didn't realize there was a (new) cute dishwasher or two bathrooms. Really glad we stayed here for our annual family reunion!
Jill S. Jul 2017
Our family enjoyed this lovely little house with its spacious deck. It has a great yard for playing bocce ball and a long table for playing games inside as well.
Judy G. Jul 2017
Neskowen is a dream. This property is wonderfully situated in town close to beach.
Tye P. Jun 2017
Short walk to my favorite beach in Oregon makes it a must. The house is super cozy after long days on the beach it's nice to come take a hot shower, sit on the comfy chairs and watch an old movie.
Angela P. Jun 2017
We had a wonderful time in Neskowin and very comfortable cozey home.
We will stay again.
Thank you!
Nikolas B. Mar 2017
We had a wonderful time in the house and enjoyed it's close proximity to the beach. It is very cozy with a nice outdoor space to use. We will definitely rent this house the next time we come to the coast! I would recommend this to anyone thinking of staying here.
There were somethings that needs attention.
We had an issue with the heater and breaker. The house was very cold upon arriving. With none of the heaters on.
There was no curtain or fogged glass in the bathroom, and the window was IN the shower at hip level! Had to use towel to cover window.
May of the dishes had cracks in them.
Couches needed to be cleaned but were comfortable and cozy.
Manager response:
We are happy to see this guest enjoyed their stay for the most part! The wall heaters are not left on between guests due to the high costs they incur, but once they are turned on they heat up quickly. The broken dishes have been replaced, and the owner is working on a curtain for the bathroom window and getting the couch upholstery cleaned. Thank you!
Sally T. Mar 2017
We've stayed at this charming little home twice and will be back. It's not new or fancy, but it is well kept and cozy. More like an old fashioned beach house than a touristy condo. The beds are comfortable, the living space is very welcoming (good furniture, plenty of seating at the dining table, lots of windows, a fun collection of VHS tapes and DVDs, good lighting). The kitchen works well - we lacked for nothing. There is no dishwasher, but washing dishes by hand can be a fun bonding experience! We love sitting on the deck when the weather permits. And though there is no ocean view, you can hear the waves, and in the winter the golf course turns into a lovely wetland with birds to watch and listen to, tree frogs to sing you to sleep. The beach is a short walk away, and the town itself is very fun to explore on foot. Great restaurant (Hawk Creek Cafe), nice little market with a growler fill station, a nice selection of wines, and house made pastries, among other delights.

This is a comfortable older home. The kitchen is small and with one bathroom. The furniture is comfortable as were the beds. A big table for meals and playing games. My only complaint is there is not a place to hang wet coats. A few hooks in the hallway would be great.
Jonathan R. Nov 2016
Great location for a quiet weekend coast getaway with friends/family. The third bedroom separated from the main house is perfect for parents with a baby.
David T. Oct 2016
A perfect week at the coast.
This home had everything we needed, and was very comfortable.
Robert P. Sep 2016
We enjoyed our stay very much. Just a couple improvements would have made it perfect.
Szymon M. Sep 2016
Older house in a nice community. Close to a golf course, and a short walk to the beach. Nice community, very friendly people.
House needs updating thorough. Bedrooms are small and one bathroom is a challenge for a group. If you don't mind a bit of everything older this could be a good place, especially if you are looking for a dog friendly house.
James M. Aug 2016
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Great little community. The nearby view of the golf course is stunning. We will rent it again.
Elaine G. Aug 2016
This is a great place for families. The living/dining space was open and was perfect for our group which included 5 kids. Lots of movies and toys for children.
Carol K. Aug 2016
We had a nice get-away for three days and found this cozy house to be a comfy space in that "favorite-old-pair-of-slippers" kind of way. It served us well with individual space for grandparents, parents and grandchild plus dog to retire to after watching movies past our bedtime. The walk to the beach and Neskowin store was easy. It's nice to have this shabby-chic, less costly option in Neskowin.

Do it! Lovely little spot with tons to do!
Solene B. Apr 2016
The house is located in a very quiet area. Neskowin is a cute village with everything you need if you want to stay and relax: store, interesting beach, safe and quiet street. The house is well equiped, the furniture is slightly old but it has its charm. Enjoyed the music player and board game as well as functional kitchen. Great stay.
Stephanie O. Apr 2016
Really cute house. Cozy, but the living room was nice and open. Very close to an amazing and beautiful beach.
Jordan M. Apr 2016
Quiet house great location, friendly community!!! A++
Sally T. Mar 2016
This house is reminiscent of traditional Oregon beach cottages. It is an older home in a neighborhood of well kept older homes. We found it to be very welcoming and comfortable. The house is well stocked with books and games, and there is even a basket of little toys. We loved sitting out on the deck in the sun. Though you can't see the ocean from this home, you can hear it, and it's only a short walk to get out to the beach. The view of the wetland (which is a golf course in summer months) is stunning. Lots of bird life to watch. We will happily come here again.
Leslie S. Mar 2016
Cute period style home.
Roger B. Feb 2016
We were well pleased with all the accommodationsame in the house. If you have kids there is a good selection of older kid friendly DVD and videos available. Several board and box games are available, although we never found a deck of cards. For younger generation wi-if access to online gaming is a compensation . Think of it as visiting grandma's house and you will quite satisfied.
Natalie H. Feb 2016
Clean. Great location to walk to beach. It is a much older home though. If you like vintage you'll like this place. Even has a VCR with VHS tapes and 1970 magazines.
Megan C. Nov 2015
This place was great. It was a stormy weekend, but the house kept us cozy. We were able to snuggle up and watch movies at night, with the heater keeping us warm despite house crazy it was outside. The kitchen had all the cooking utensils necessary, the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet and the beach was just a hop, skip, and a jump away. Very great stay :).
Nancy N. Oct 2015
Cute, comfy cottage walking distance to amenities in Neskowin. All the basics are here. Carpet needs cleaning.
Jeremy J. Sep 2015
I was impressed by the cleanliness of the property and how well it has been maintained given that it was built in 1938.
Matthew F. Aug 2015
First, let me say that I am very happy renting from Vacasa. Their staff is very helpful and responsive. They made the rental experience very pleasant.

This property is a bit older and has not been recently remodeled. Fixtures throughout the house are old to the point of being dingy. Let's be honest, though. You're probably not traveling to the Oregon Coast to enjoy the inside of somebody else's vacation home. For all the real reasons you're probably visiting the Coast, this place is fantastic. It is a great location between the golf course and the beach. It has nearby beach access to a less crowded part of the beach. It has a large yard and two decks.

At a significantly lower price than many of the other rental properties in town, this is a great deal.
Chase R. Jul 2015
I had a good time
Daymon T. Mar 2015
Adorable little home! Very cozy, very comfortable. Close to the beach, and pet friendly! I'll stay here again for sure.
Sam W. Feb 2015
This little house is situated nicely and just a short stroll to the beach. However, upon arrival we were greeted with a very strong mildew odor. Opening the windows and such helped quite a bit, but it wasn't exactly a welcoming experience. The house is a nice size and has just about everything you could need for a stay, but the property is a little run down. Perhaps replacing the carpet could address the mildew issue and some fresh coats of paint could go a long way to improving the property. I would consider staying here again, but it probably wouldn't be my first choice.
Manager response:
Thank you for this great feedback. We will be looking into the mildew smell right away! Thanks for letting us know.
Michelle G. Dec 2014
Kitchen was well stocked with cookware, bowls and utensils. Beds comfortable. Good amount of towels. However, we felt it was somewhat pricey for holiday weekend compared to regular daily rate.
Penny C. Oct 2014
Biking the neighborhood right out the front door is very pleasant. Quite close to several beach access points.
Susan O. Oct 2014
If you like being close to the beach in a nice village and don't mind rustic and funky with one bathroom go forit
