Perfect location even though it was in a busy street. The harbor/lighthouse views were spectacular. Everyone had a great time - loved the house!

The interior of the home and layout worked well for my family but home is located on a VERY busy street and parking situation is terrible. Also, parking permit left for extra car was expired.

Such a beautiful home with a beautiful view of the marina. Easy walk to the boardwalk and marina. Perfect amount of room for 6 adults, enjoyed the hot tub and all the little extras provided. Highly recommend!

This is a super adorable house with great views and everything you need for activities around Santa Cruz. They had lighters and matches for beach fires, a fully stocked kitchen, a great grill and tools, and footballs soccerballs, etc. It comes with an additional air mattress and many towels and sheets. Thanks for a great trip!

This house screams Santa Cruz. My family and I absolutely loved it! There are two bedrooms right when you walk in (two queens) and a full bathroom. One of the bedrooms leads out to the back yard, hot tub and washing machine room. Once you go up the stairs you’re in the living area which is super cozy and has huge windows looking out over the harbor. The kitchen is just around the corner with a deck/balcony you can take down to the back yard as well. There is one more level which is only the master bedroom, which also has amazing views.
We put our 9 year old in the master, our 7 and 3 year old in one of the downstairs bedrooms and my husband and I in the other. The layout worked perfectly for us, and it was really nice having different levels instead of everyone being on top of each other. We didn’t have any issues with the hot tub, heat, dishwasher etc. everything was in perfect working order! There are just a few basic cable channels to choose from, but it’s a smart tv, so there is Netflix and all that jazz.
The one and ONLY thing that was bad, was the driveway... which we had read from other reviews. It is NOT a deal breaker, but I would highly advise you not bring a truck, mini van or anything long. It’s terrifying to try and fit the car in the driveway. We would 100% stay here again.

Nice place, restaurants and beach are walking distance. Comfortable beds and couches. Private backyard. Driveway is small for full size truck but plenty of parking nearby

We had a great time at the Harbor Dream House. Our overall stay was great. The house was clean, quiet, it has a HOT TUB! (which sadly, we had no time to use!)
Hotel-like amenities like plenty of shampoo, soap and towels. Hairdryer and plenty of kitchen items for lite/regular cooking.
Can't beat the location for walking to the beach and food.
Only a few mild things that I feel like are necessary to share with those considering this house:
1) the description says it has 3 beds, but sleeps 8. I don't know where the other 2 people are supposed to sleep. Usually when a listing indicates that it 'sleeps x' that means there are sleeping places for that many people (not necessarily beds, but something). Part of this is on me, because the photos show a room with a mirrored wall and I thought that room had 2 double beds, (whoops!) but we spent quite a bit of time searching through closets and under beds for an airbed or a trundle or a cot and found nothing. I think those 2 spots are the leather recliner couch!?!? I would not consider this a sleeping spot at all, so I felt a little annoyed since we needed a spot for our toddler to sleep. We made him a floor-bed and he was just fine, but the house does not 'sleep 8' (perhaps max occupancy is 8?).
2) the driveway is scary. It's tiny, has a brick pole in the middle and you definitely will have a hard time getting out of the car if you are a bad/nervous parker or if you bring along a giant SUV. We were thankful we didn't take that free SUV upgrade we were offered, as our Sentra barely fit.
3) It's also on a SUPER busy road and getting in and out of the driveway is a bit scary at first (and second, and maybe up till the 5th time you try it!) luckily, you don't really need to drive that much, since you can walk in minutes to the beach, plus the house is well-constructed and you can't hear the street noise at night (although we had no time to hang out in the living room, which is right on the street, so not sure how the noise is there if people need to sleep there.
4) not great sheets. This is so petty I almost didn't put it on here, but we had polyester sheets. :-( I'm too old to not sleep on nice cotton sheets! I was sad.
All-in-all, still a great trip and I still give the house, location and experience 5 stars. I just always like to know what the downsides are when doing a homeaway/airbnb so I can decide on my own if they are deal breakers.

I loved the house and the proximity to the cove, however the parking was challenging because the spaces in the driveway are extremely tight. The house is also located on a very busy street with no crosswalk so you have to dart across the street in between cars to get to the beach.
