Had a great time with family. Plenty of beds and dishes for the whole clan. Wood stove kept us warm and cozy. Plenty of dry wood in the wood shed. Dryer was handy for wet gloves. The kids loved the spiral staircase. Could have used a curtain on the shower. All in all, we had a great time.

My family of 5 plus our dog just stayed in the cabin for 3 nights, and loved it. This was not the cabin we had initially rented, but rather the cabin we were moved to late Friday night when there were issues with the heat in our original rental. We were so happy we were moved to this place! Not only did it have wall heaters/baseboard heaters in the rooms, but a wood burning stove with wood available. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots/pans/dishes/utensils that were rather 'well-loved' but I was able to make meals just fine. We couldn't get the toaster to work, however, and the light and fan over the stove both didn't work. The living room was cozy with new carpeting and regular-sized coach plus easy chairs. No dvd player, but a smart tv with Netflix, so we were still able to watch movies every night. We did have to block the spiral staircase, because our dog went up the stairs and then couldn't get back down. But the kids loved staying upstairs together with their own bathroom. Fenced in back yard was perfect for letting the dog out late at night or early in the morning. The main floor has mostly been remodeled, but the upstairs reminded us of Grandma's house; our kids loved the homey feeling. Definitely a cabin and not a 'lake home', but all in all we had a wonderful time and would rent this place again. I've mentioned this in a review of another cabin managed by Vacasa, but would appreciate a book of "how things work/tips for the house" to refer to for those little quirks every home has. Another plus was the offer for a late check-out (7pm) for an additional $25; totally worth it and made for a relaxing check-out day!

Loved the location. Kitchen was well equipped. Fenced in back yard great for our doggo. Neighbors very friendly. House is partially remodeled, bathrooms small and older. Having so many beds worked out really well for all the kids.
