We loved the roominess of the house, the beautiful garden, the location (it’s very close to the main downtown street & could have walked wherever we needed to go), unfortunately it rained the full day we were staying here but still was a great place to hang out & relax.

This home is well equipped. This is an old quality craftsman home. Absolutely beautiful.

I at the end of April only the tulips were in bloom. Which is to be expected. The surprise was the weeds! Such a lovely backyard flower garden is seen in the photos I was puzzled by the lack of yard care. I paid a premium price the this VRBO the weeds should not have been included in the costs. Also the sun room was a mess. The large flowers seen in the pots were dried and dead, dead. The chairs nor the table had been cleaned in a while. I ended up having to clean the sun room on my own if I wanted to enjoy my breakfast in the sun room.

Despite this I would rent this lovely home again. I wish I were there now.

We booked this rental for a couple of nights for our anniversary. I had hoped to enjoy the garden, which looks like it would be beautiful in season, but we had an unusually snowy February & there was still a good covering of snow while we were there. Nevertheless, we enjoyed snuggling in at "home" in front of the gas fireplace. The layout was interesting and the kitchen was well stocked, although the promised spices were minimal, which was ok as we brought our own. Beds were comfortable. There is a wonderful restaurant just 3 blocks away (Adrift) which serves delicious food & has friendly service. We would love to come back and stay again soon.

This house is centrally located, you can walk everywhere. The neighborhood is interesting, the garden beautiful, and the house is filled with an eclectic art collection. We enjoyed our weekend in Anacortes.
