I searched far and wide for a cabin that was perfect to take my boyfriend and the dogs. It was quiet, it was beautiful, and the dogs LOVED it. It was refreshing coming from a busier town to something quiet where we could let the dogs outside to be free.. We also climbed one of the green mountains which was only a 10 minute drive from where we were. The view was breathtaking and well worth the few hours we spent hiking up the mountain with the dogs. Highly recommend as we will absolutely be returning.

Very well-appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The spaciousness, the well equipped kitchen, the location in the quiet woods, vicinity of ski resort mountains, the backyard and roads for hiking, the cosiness, everything!!

Kitchen is very well stocked. First place we have stayed that had a decent set of knives! Water is heated with propane, once we shut the nearby window, it no longer came in the house. (I have a severe propane allergy and it was OK, but not ideal.) Suggest a new mattress, one side shows the age. I am also informed that you antique drying rack (very cute) is mounted upside down! All in all, would stay again and recommend to others.

Very clean and well stocked house. The open plan and timbered walls were cool. Good size for 4 adults. Location by roadside was easy to find and quiet. Short car trip to Mount Stratton and Snow and Grout pond. Plenty of local info and maps.

We just absolutely LOVED the cabin. It’s sooo spacious, and gorgious! The open floorplan is very nice! The house is super comfortable, beds sleep like a baby, bathroom is great. Location is secluded, yet close enough to attractions or little towns. Just loved all of it!

Very accessible yet secluded; has most everything you'd need; kitchen has basically everything to cook with; bathroom is modern and plenty of space to stretch out and take it easy. Dog run/fence & dog door is super helpful for a furry travel companion. :-)

Beautiful and secluded

The cabin was comfortable with a rustic, camp-like feel. We all loved the open design and the wood walls and floors. We were there in the summer and would have appreciated some screens on the windows - when the windows were open for fresh air we also got a lot of insects coming in - but other than that, it was a perfect cabin for us and our two college-aged sons (they loved the loft!). We would certainly book this cabin again if we revisited this area.
We are glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciate your feedback, Joy. We can certainly look into providing window screens to better enjoy some fresh air in the home. We look forward to hosting you again!

We really loved that house.

It was very well supplied, but a bit dark. We wanted to have a fire as it got rainy and cold but the extension from the stove to the ceiling was missing and we smoked ourselves out. We were disappointed that we couldn't have a fire. But it was lovely and quiet and in the middle of nowhere!!! There was a pretty raging stream across the street. Just watch out for the poison ivy. There could have been better outside furniture. Just a few worn and old plastic chairs. It would have been nice to have better furniture, a table to sit outside and have breakfast, coffee etc. But overall we did like where we were.

The house was great me, my wife and our 2 dogs. Nice backyard for the pups to run. The kitchen enabled us to have some nice home cooked meals. Loved the simple layout of house. It was clean and had everything we needed. Only thing is I would bring my own towls. They provide some not so good hotel towels.
