Cozy condo w/ pool & hot tub near both golf & ski resorts!

Dreaming of being on the slopes in seconds flat? Then this sweet three-bedroom, two-bath Sun Valley vacation rental is the choice spot for you. With room for up to six guests and access to nearby ski lifts, it's the perfect spot for any ski enthusiast in the group!

Within walking distance of Elkhorn Village, this abode is close to the action. Golf, tennis, and a shared pool/hot tub are just moments away. A bike path is nearby and it's just two miles to town. But you came here to ski and ski you shall. This home is mere seconds away from Elkhorn Lift, which is connected to Dollar Mountain, one of the top ski destinations in the area!

Enter a cozy abode that instantly relaxes. Look up at the cathedral ceiling as you sit on one of two comfy couches surrounding a fireplace. A red Persian rug draws the eye, as does the horse painting on the light green wall. Two large windows offer a ton of light and a small dining table with four stools looks into the cozy white kitchen. Although small in space, the intimate kitchen provides enough space to whip up a memorable meal. You'll have plenty of dishware to choose from on the decorative wooden hutch and when you're done, a dishwasher makes cleaning up a breeze.

The main floor houses a master suite, complete with a king bed with cream coverlet and adjoining bathroom with separate large shower and commode.

Head up a flight of stairs to the main sleeping quarters. The second story overlooks the first and boasts two additional bedrooms. One bedroom features two twin beds with rustic headboards - these twins can be placed together to easily make a queen-size bed. A painting with a decidedly bucolic scene completes the tranquil space and you'll also have a dresser and flatscreen TV. The third bedroom features a twin-size wooden bunk bed and matching vanity, with a full bath rounding out the second story. Please note that this home is not suitable for small children, however, as the bars on the loft railing are at eight inches apart and small children run the risk of falling through.

A washer and dryer are on hand to clean you up, and don't worry about firewood running out, as this home provides plenty. Guests have access to Elkhorn Village's many amenities including a swimming pool, sun decks, sauna, tennis courts, hot tub, and the popular Robert Trent Jones golf course.

Like many mountain towns, Sun Valley is an outdoor lover's dream! During the summer, hiking, biking, and horseback riding are favorite pastimes. Head here in nice weather for the Dollar Mountain 10K Trail Run. Try your hand at sport clay shooting at the Sun Valley Gun Club. In winter, the town bursts at the seams with avid skiers and snowboarders heading to the famous Sun Valley ski resorts to test their prowess. From bike shops to women's apparel to world class dining, the town has everything one needs to keep themselves entertained.

Whether it's having a relaxing time by the gas-burning fireplace or heading out to the slopes for some powder, this Ketchum vacation rental is an outdoor lover's dream!

Community amenities provided by Elkhorn in Sun Valley and have periods of closure. No pools from Labor Day until Memorial Day. Hot tubs are closed seasonally for maintenance, they will be closed after Labor Day until after Thanksgiving, then in the Spring when the mountain closes for skiing in April through Memorial Day. In the ultra luxury ofI Sun Valley this place stood out because it was in our price range. For what we wanted it was very adequate, but is not luxury accommodations. We ate, drank and loved Sun Valley Lodge and Inn. What we saved on the Condo allowed us to splurge at the resort.

Great place

We had our retreat here in this location with 11 attendees. We rented out 3 condos and it was perfect! Great stay! Great location! And very helpful staff.

Restful, relaxing week. Nice condo with great amenities - pool, jacuzzi, tennis.

This condo provided a place for our group to stay for 2 days during the Sun Valley Road Rally. This 2 story condo starts on the 2nd floor of the building. The condo has a fireplace for a heater but no air conditioning, so the late afternoon was a bit warm. We weren't able to open the back door and window very often because the down stairs neighbor liked to smoke, seemingly all day, blowing smoke that came right through the open window. This is nothing that Vacasa could control, but an Air conditioner of some kind would be good to provide cooler air to the unit.
The bunk bed upstairs, as others have said, has no side rail to keep you from falling down at night. The couple staying in that room said they were weary about sleeping on the top bunk because of this. I would suggest the owner put in some sort of rail for the bunk.
The TV worked great, but the WiFi internet was HORRIBLE! There is shared WiFi in the Indian Springs complex and the speed and reception of the WiFi was unbearable. I had to make due with no internet for the 2 days at the condo, but the reception was great once you got outside of the Elkhorn Village complex and into town. The complex needs to invest in either better WiFi routers or at least more of them. There are about 8-10 buildings in Indian Springs with 3 WiFi routers for all of them, and the complex was quite full. Even with full bars connection on the WiFi, nothing would load.
Overall the condo worked for our group and we were glad it was available as everything else in the same price range was already booked before we started looking.

I made comments mostly about the cleanliness of the place above. We love Sun Valley and will definitely return, but not to this condo. You definitely get what you pay for when renting in SV.

The location and services were just what I was looking for.

Spacious rooms, beautiful view, well-equipped kitchen, recently refurnished and renovated.

Good spot, looks to have ski in and out location. Nicely priced

Comfortable beds & linens
Plush, newish towels, plenty of them.
Bathroom rugs were all clean; we washed & left them clean for the next party
Hot showers, nice complementary shampoos & soaps
Comfy couches, TV & DVD player
Most everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout the house.
We really liked the place, and loved the snowy trees out the window.
Very convenient to Dollar Mountain and Lodge.
Neighbors all very kind and friendly.
Heard very little noise from any neighbors, other than an occasional barking dog.
Adjustable electric baseboard heat; make it as hot or cold as you desire.
Fireplace appears to be glass enclosed gas fireplace, not wood-burning. It successfully heats the living room and kitchen.

The condo is advertised as non-smoking, yet the Master bath & BR smelled like they had been smoked in. Not cool if a former renter smoked in a non-smoking condo. Even more non-cool if owners are smokers, but describe the condo as non-smoking.
Not-so-comfortable bed pillows (feather pillows would be nice)
Only about 10 wire hangers in condo; we purchased/donated about 30 more plastic hangers.
Coffee maker carafe lid was broken when we arrived, coffee maker did not work. We purchased & donated a new coffee maker, which works fine.
Wifi access is painfully slow & sporadic. Connection to wifi is only made by borrowing it from neighbors' service who lack passcodes. The wifi server suggested by Vicasa does not exist. The owner should consider wifi installation, as this was frustrating to deal with.
Bit of a drive to Ketchum town & Baldy ski runs, but the drive there is quite pretty.

This condo is upstairs. The balcony is very tiny so it can't be used to BBQ or sit; there are a few small things that could be improved, but it was a good deal for 6 people. The views from the great room are beautiful, and the only noise we heard were dogs barking on occasion. Vacasa provided fans for us to use; we asked for them ahead of time as August is warm enough that you may need them; we were happy to see that they came through for us. It was a nice touch and great service in my opinion. Overall we were happy with our stay there and would do it again.
