Beautiful home for a large group to spread out and relax in. Our extended family group of 8 just spent a lovely graduation weekend in the house. We enjoyed sitting on the couch adjacent to the accordian of glass doors overlooking the back garden on one end of the house and on the couches looking out the open front windows on the other end of the house. Well-stocked with kitchen utensils, glasses, etc. Very clean with comfy beds and fluffy towels. Very, very nice. We also appreciated the option for a late check-out offered just before we checked in. Loved the neighborhood!
I love the ease of check in and out, the vintage and artsy vibe of the home and the space! There were a lot of spaces for our group of 8 to hangout in the house and enough space for some privacy.
The house was clean, comfortable, and well located. Walking distance to a good grocery store and nice restaurants. The management was very responsive when we had questions.
It was so conveniently located to everything we wanted to do in Portland and the house was perfectly appointed. We loved the garden, especially in the urban neighborhood!
This historic home is right in the thick of things - stroll for great restaurants, night life, and treats - close enough (couple blocks) to walk, but far enough for peace and quiet when you want it.
This is a house that has been updated and decorated with such personalized, artistic care that I was at first surprised at first that the owners would rent it out to strangers. But they are indeed sharing their 'creation', with trusted guests like us, and it was a pleasure to stay there. The aesthetics, amenities and location make this a home we'll happily return to again.
Yes, the layout of bedrooms and bathrooms - and some other minor features might seem a bit quirky to some, but only due to the original Victorian house being cleverly adapted to be more versatile for modern living.
We were impressed with how cozy, warm and well-equipped the place was, for instance in the terrific kitchen and dining area where we enjoyed cooking and eating several meals. a group of five adults, we were all comfortable, and had ample space to spread out and get some privacy when we wanted it. Having enjoyed it in the middle of Winter, we hope to return in the Spring or Summer to experience the lovely back yard and deck with all the trees and plants in full bloom.
Again, the location is wonderful. Street parking right out front was always available, the street was quiet and felt very safe, and it is walkably close to markets, cafes, and terrific shopping streets.
All the amenities, clean and neat.
We booked this place at last minute when our Airbnb booking turned into a nitemare. Yeta at vacasa was super helpful and responsive and the place was clean and well-maintained with the funkiness that is so Portland. Lots of room with a lovely back porch. Definitely recommend!
It was the perfect house for 6 adults (3 couples). Very clean and had everything we could possibly need. The only complaint was that there were only room air conditioners in two bedrooms. When we were there it was very warm and the house was warm. During the day you could have opened windows (of course we were out exploring the area during the day). At night we may have opened the windows but in the one downstair bedroom that had no air conditioning there were no screens on the windows. Since these rooms were at ground level and there was a nice garden with different fruit teees, we could not relax and go to sleep with the windows opened. We realized that there are few bugs in Portland as the information at the House said, but could not relax thinking some varmint could enter. Luckily our last night in Portland was cooler and the couple in that room was able to sleep.
Very clean and beautiful house, spacious with great amenities. Bedrooms were nice and beds were comfy. Awesome location walking distance to some restaurants and night life plus short ride to downtown. Perfect launching pad to explore Portland, it was great for our weekend getaway.
We enjoyed 3 nights at this wonderful home. Couldn't be happier - excellent communication, beautiful and spacious, well located to get to major Portland neighbourhoods, yet quiet enough to enjoy breakfast in the pretty backyard. We will definitely stay here again if we ever visit Portland!
This was an amazing trip! The house was awesome, clean, comfortable and in an amazing location! Highly recommend over any other local spot!
