This is a lovely cabin. We stayed a week and very much enjoyed the place, especially the fireplace, grill, and the hot tub. The proximity to town is great, yet felt very secluded. The pictures are accurate and we were extremely pleased. A couple of small drawbacks - we had trouble finding the lockbox, as we arrived after dark and the location description was confusing. We called the vacasa phone number and they were very responsive getting the local caretaker on the phone to help us find it. We were able to find it with his help & got in no problem, we needed to get accustomed to “streaming” TV, and were kind of freaked out when someone came to service the hot tub (he comes every week to service it & we just happened to be there when he did - not a bad thing, but would have been nice to know he was supposed to be there.) We found it more roomy than expected, or needed for two, not fancy but better than expected dishes, pot/pans, towels, etc. I still give it 5 Stars and overall had a very good experience.

Really nice open living/dining space, quiet neighborhood, close drive to town. Could have used a few more amenities, like salt/pepper, laundry detergent, spare set of sheets/instructions for turning on ceiling fan, and removal of the old non-working lock box.

You get what you pay for in this world and we felt we got a bargain with this cozy smallish cabin. It worked perfectly well for two adults, a 10 year old and our small dog. The location was great and the place was very nice.

There were several things in the house that basically didn't work. Lights were out, fan didn't work, couldn't get the TV to work. The most disappointing part (and this is somewhat out of the control of the owners) was that there are these huge pine trees that were dripping sticky sap on every surface of the deck, tables, chairs, railings. We simply couldn't use the deck at all. The gnats and mosquitos were thick also in the back so when we were at the house, we were inside almost entirely.
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback, Phil. We apologize that your experience was not everything you were hoping for. We will address your feedback with the local staff and thank you for bringing these items to our attention. We hope to host you again.

Lovely house, nicely furnished, spacious, dog friendly in the Pine Cove community. Nice deck and grill but lots of mosquitos!

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. Everything was clean and nicely furnished. We needed some time away and the cabin had privacy but a big deck to watch gorgeous sunsets. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything you would need to cook for a larger or small party. The stairs to the loft are steep and I would recommend a gate for small children. It would also have been nice to have some guides for restaurants and hikes, but we were given free wifi so we used our phones for looking up items. I would definitely recommend this beautiful cabin. We had a great stay and would return for another. If you want more time to check out ask Vacasa for a late check out. They give you much more time to leave for a nominal fee. We did do that.
