This is a great cabin. No silly frills but everything we needed to be so comfortable and have a great trip and the price is amazing.
Renae S.Jul 2021
A perfect spot for our family getaway in the beautiful pines. Loved the balcony for star gazing, the kitchen has everything we needed to cook our own meals, and the shades in the bedrooms were dark enough to let our children sleep in. Close to fishing pond, atv trails, hiking, ski slope. We had a great time and hope to be back soon!

Everything was great…no complaints
Margaret H.Jun 2021
The cabin was clean and in a quiet location. Great for a summer get away.
Jonathan G.Mar 2021
First off, this is a perfect ski cabin with a great location, and the pictures are exactly what you will experience. Overall we loved it but it could be better with a little more attention from management on a few things so I want to point out what I noticed.
There are minimal directions for anything, and no directions whatsoever for the TV. If you care about TV/watching movies/wifi this might not be your cabin. There is no wifi available. The TV does have basic cable but in order to use it we had to have someone come out to get it to work and explain how to use it (not user friendly at all). There is a dvd player but only 1 dvd in the cabin (you better really like The Dark Knight!). We asked about this when having someone come out to fix the cable but they couldn't find any additional dvds and said their management just changed so things were in disarray.
Also, there are some of the typical board games under the TV, but they are essentially unusable as there are bits and pieces of various games all mixed together and no complete set of any so not sure why they bother keeping that mess around at all.
It's also clear that broken and/or old items are not regularly fixed/maintained. I expect vacation rentals to have older appliances, second-hand kitchen gear, etc. but this house was a different level. Wobbly, almost broken chairs and furniture, parts of the ceiling fan missing (must have been a good party), lamps that had to be plugged in/unplugged in inconvenient locations behind heavy furniture because the toggle switches were broken, etc. Just a little more upkeep would make this place much better.
Finally, the street up to the cabin is a hill but is promptly plowed after it snows. The driveway does not get regularly plowed when it snows so I would say that AWD/4X4 is required for the driveway alone if it has snowed recently. We were lucky enough to have somewhat fresh snow when we arrived and we got a good dump of fresh snow while there. We have AWD so were good to go but if we didn't it would have been an issue. The driveway was not plowed on arrival even though it hadn't snowed in days and all the other cabins seemed to be and the road was clear. After it snowed, it seemed like every other property around us was plowed within a day except for this cabin. It was never plowed in our our week there. Just something to consider. The short walkway from the driveway to the cabin was also clearly not regularly maintained all season, nor were the decks, stairs, etc. The walkway was icy and you needed to be careful. The stairs and upstairs decks hadn't been shoveled all season so you couldn't use the decks or upstairs front door and melting snow from the decks above had formed a thick icy layer on the walkway below. Not a big deal to us but it may be to others.
A couple last notes that are hopefully useful for future renters. First off, WATCH OUT when using the oven and then doing anything with the stovetop area. The oven vents a lot of heat directly onto the back of the stovetop. We had a pan on the back of the stovetop while using the oven but the stovetop wasn't even on. When my wife grabbed the handle of the pan to start cooking it was so hot from using the oven below that she burned her hand pretty significantly.
The downstairs "kids room" with the bunk bed is essentially the only thing downstairs when you enter the cabin other than the mud room, so it's a bit like being in a basement compared to the rest of the cabin. It's great for separating kids away from the main living room area but it's not obvious when viewing the pictures so just pointing it out.
If you are a light sleeper, the 2 upstairs bedrooms might have issues for you. One bedroom is adjacent to the kitchen and the refrigerator is right against the bedroom wall. It's older and really loud, and seems to be making noise consistently. The other bedroom is adjacent to the upstairs bathroom and when the fan is on in the bathroom it's super loud.
Lastly, the smoke detector near the kitchen goes off every time you cook anything even with the fan/vent on. Seems like a bad location where it's tucked into.
I really hope this doesn't come off too negative. We really liked the cabin overall. I'm just pointing these items out in the hopes of helping future renters make decisions and encouraging the management to make a few small changes to really make this place fantastic so we can come again!
Hi, Jonathan! The property manager will be taking care of instructions for the TV, chairs, ceiling fan, and lamp. We do mention 4WD is needed for this home since it is a ski town that receives feet of snow, not inches. Thank you!

Great location very family friendly .

We had a great stay at Forced family fun cabin. Everything was nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you

We enjoyed our vacation very much at this cabin. This location was great. We hiked the Narrows at Zion, went to Bryce Canyon and UTV riding in Brian Head. Nice to have all within a reasonable driving distance. We are from Michigan so not used to the heat so Brian Head was the perfect location for wonderful temperatures during the summer days and nights. Loved it!

This cabin was a great place for a multi-generational family get away. We had 6 adults and 6 kids and there was plenty of room and beds for all of us. It’s a beautiful setting in the tops of the mountains in Southern Utah.
Mark N.Jun 2020
The pictures of the cabin tend to make it look bigger inside. Still, it is a functional and relaxing place to spend some time. We especially liked the location, it is near town, but still quiet and feels almost secluded. ( Most of the neighbors were not even there during our stay.) The loft inside is spacious and open with two folding futons. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, and the beds quite good, Two of them are firm. The recliner in the living room is a definite plus. The bathrooms were clean and equipped, In fact, everything was clean, clean, clean. Kudos to the cleaners, whoever you are.
The only serious issue we had was with the stove. It is gas. We used the stovetop without problems. On the last day we used both the stovetop and the oven simultaneously. In a few minutes we could smell gas and the CO2 alarm began to sound. We turned everything off, opened the windows and doors, and let the gas dissipate. We then reused the stovetop without problem. It appears the oven needs a check-up, just to make sure it wasn't us instead. We left a note on the refrigerator for the cleaning people.
With that exception, we liked our stay and would rent it again if we return. However, we would like to see some little items addressed. It would make the cabin an even better rental.
1. Provide some chairs/benches for outside use on the porch. That way one could better enjoy the mountain air and the porch, at least in the summer. Even cheap folding chairs would do.
2. Plastic food wrap is needed, and also, aluminum foil
3. The knives could use sharpening.
4. The spice rack needs renewal
5. A flyswatter would be nice to eliminate the little beasts that always somehow get it in the summer.
6. Better contact information. There was a card on a lamp stand that gave some contact information, but if it was lost or taken, there would be no way to contact anybody. Yea, I know VACASA is the "caretaker", but this information should also be on the checkout procedures posted on the refrigerator. I am not convinced that big rental agencies have anybody's interest at heart except their own.
Yes, most of the above are small items, but small items are what really make the difference between a good place and a great place.

The place was awesome, very rural and a space to get away from technology, stocked up but we had a loss of power because the weather. They did everything they could to accommodate
Chad C.Jun 2020
This cabin is in a beautiful location, about 1 mile from the center of Brian Head. The town center has a large playground, a small fishing pond, tetherball and a pickleball court. Our four young children loved time in the town center as well as short hikes in nearby Parowan Canyon and Cedar Breaks. The cabin provided ample space for two families amidst beautiful pine and aspen trees. The outdoor deck and grill were a nice feature. Overall our family loved this cabin. We did catch a couple of mice during our stay using the trap located in the basement. This didn't cause any issues, and probably made the trip more memorable for our children. Overall I would rate this cabin 5 stars.
Brett C.Mar 2020
The cabin worked great for our group of eight adults. We had everything we needed at a great location! Thank you!

We loved this place! Check in and out was a breeze. There was a lot of space and the dining room table was huge. Cabin was clean, well stocked and there were plenty of extra blankets. It’s really quiet up there and the stars at night were amazing. We had a lot of fun watching TV, doing a 1000 piece puzzle and playing board games. I can’t wait to come back with the family and stay longer!

Very clean and roomy.

House needs good clean and new beds.
Thank you for your feedback. We will address this with the local staff. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. We hope to impress you in the future.
Jennifer S.Jul 2019
Served the needs of our stay very well! Only frustration was the TV remotes not been working... but we didn't watch much TV anyways...
We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We want to remind guests that they can call our 24/7 Guest Services line with any issues or concerns. We hope to host you again.
Mistie S.Jul 2019
This was a great place to stay! We really enjoyed it! The only small thing is I wished there would’ve been more tissue and paper towels stocked up. We ran out quickly and had to go buy some at the small grocery store close that was outrageously expensive. So I would suggest bringing some of your own with you.
Jeffrey B.Jun 2019
We chose this vacation home because it was between Bryce and Zion national parks. It was an easy hour and a half drive to either park and also was very close to Cedar breaks national Monument. We had the unexpected pleasure Of also staying in a nice small ski town. It was very quiet and very wonderful. The house was a great log cabin. Just a little tired here and there from some maintenance issues but otherwise really great.
Rocio G.May 2019
Loved this Cabin so much! We rented it out for Mother's Day weekend and enjoyed every second of it. My kids woke up super early to play outside with the snow. Just what we needed.
Nolan C.Apr 2019
Great spot located in between both slopes of Brian Head. Nice views of Giant Steps, kitchen had just about everything needed and it had nice privacy, empty lot on one side, trees screened the back. Good family vacation spot but if you have toddlers you’ll need some portable gates for two sets of stairs.
Susan H.Apr 2019
We loved the cabin. It was very clean, the showers great! Close to the slopes and stores. Large and roomy, we had plenty of room. The only drawback for us was no WIFI two of us had to connect with our offices. We are definitely returning and bringing our own hotspot.
Margarita A.Feb 2019
The home was cozy, the view is amazing and the location was great. We had easy access to the ski resort, grocery market, and the snow mobile were all just around the corner. The kitchen is stocked with the right pots, pans, utensils, and the bathrooms had more than enough towels, etc. The home had board games, etc. This house did not lack anything.... because the owners thought of everything. We connected our wifi hot spot and was able to watch Netflix on the smart tv in the evening. It snowed the entire weekend.. it was like a movie on television.. SOoo Beautiful.. Our first family trip to Utah is definitely a memory we will never forget. Thank you for allowing us to be in your beautiful home.. I hope to be back again in the near future. =)
sarah s.Jan 2019
We loved the cabin. It was clean, spacious and a great location.
Les J.Jan 2019
We visited right before Christmas, and my family had so much fun. This was our 3rd visits to the cabin, and it was properly stocked with all the towels and the toiletry, as well as the clean linen. Each room and the bathrooms were equipped with the wall-mounted space heaters that kept us warm and snuggly. The location is about 2 minutes away from either Navajo or Giant Step. Great place, and thanks for letting us stay!
CAROL D.Oct 2018
This was the perfect getaway! We did a Mom sisters trip for the weekend, and it fit all 12 of us perfectly. The views are breathtaking, the cabin is homey and comfortable. We had an amazing stay!!
John S.Aug 2018
Enjoyed a weekend getting out of the Vegas heat and viewing the Perseid meteor shower. We were two adult couples, and the place was perfect for us. Directions to find the place and get access were excellent, and the cabin is spacious and well appointed. Our only suggestion is to have chairs on the deck so guests in the warm months can enjoy the view from the deck
Mollie S.Jun 2018
This is a lovely cabin in a beautiful area, with a view of the ski slopes. Three bedrooms, 2 bath, plus loft with 2 foutons, laundry, games on the shelf, loved it
Vanessa O.Apr 2018
Traveling with kids, it's always important that we can bring them somewhere clean and comfortable while away from home. The kiddos loved this cabin. The loft area gave the kids a space to play, the balcony gave guys a space away from the ladies and either inside or out we all had views of the snow. The adults wished we had some extra time to just relax a bit and enjoy the cabin just a bit more. Our whole family would totally stay here again.
Nothing against the cabin but did notice that at least one bedroom had not been properly vacuumed and when your reservation includes four adults and two kids you sort of expect more than just one roll of toilet paper in each restroom.
Diane T.Mar 2018
This cabin was perfect for our mixed family group with several teenagers. The girls loved the downstairs room with its own bath. The boys had the loft to themselves. The two other rooms were perfect for the parents. It was a pleasure to sit and take in the aspens and deep snow. Our four wheel drive had no issues getting up the hill and into the driveway. We would have loved to stay longer
Thomas W.Feb 2018
We rented this cabin out for Super Bowl weekend, we had two families with kids here and there was plenty of room. We went ice fishing Sunday morning at Panguitch lake and then came back to the cabin that afternoon to watch the game. The cabin was great and the check in and check out process was simple.
Frances H.Jan 2018
It was wonderful and enjoy the views. I would come back again to this property
John B.Jan 2018
Although not a true ski in ski out, the cabin is great for a ski vacation. The loft upstairs is perfect for kids to have their own space while still being monitored. The main living and dining area were comfortable and the bedrooms were nice.
Danielle K.Jan 2018
This cabin was in the perfect location to visit both ski lodges (Navajo and Giant Steps). Very convenient and all the amenities you need.
Greg And Marlene N.Jul 2017
Very nice cabin. Would have appreciated the ability to use the garage, but otherwise a good overall experience.
Les J.Apr 2017
This property is about 3 minutes away from from Navajo and 2 minutes away from Giant Step. There was lots of snow for my kids to play on the backyard. The house has two bedrooms in the "2nd" floor. 1st floor has a bedroom with a full bath. The loft was very spacious where all my kids enjoy staying. Great for a family or two.
Sharee H.Mar 2017
We had a great time. Loved being close to giant steps. Plenty of space for our group of 10.
Cintia S.Feb 2017
The decoration is adorable! Cabin is cozy and complete! Our family had an amazing time! Thank You.
Jennifer W.Jan 2017
We had a great time and loved our accommodations. Our party consisted of a 2 families and the layout of the house was perfect. The kids loved having their own space and the property kept the kids busy playing in the snow all afternoon. We will definitely stay here again.
Thomas W.Sep 2016
Great location, house and view. We will plan to stay here again in the future. The only thing I wish it had was furniture on the deck to sit out and enjoy the amazing view.
Bailey M.Aug 2016
Brian Head is beautiful!
Harvey T.Aug 2016
Cabin was perfect for birthday getaway. Slept 10 adults and 2 kids very comfortably. Great location in Brian Head with it being just couple minutes drive from all activities!
Cabin is very clean and cozy and will definitely stay again!
Charlie C.Jul 2016
This is a lovely cabin in a magnificent setting. The lack hot water and propane as well as some other incidentals mentioned in other post could easily be solved by a management company that paid more attention to details. We wanedt to come a day early and were told that management had to make sure the cleaning crew was finished. It was and we were able to get the extra day, however that leads me to believe that someone could have turned the hot water heater up prior to our arrival. and should have checked the level of propane. With a little more attention to detail this would have been a more enjoyable stay. There is plenty of things to do and see in the area so once you are out and about you will enjoy yourself just know you will return to cold showers.
Levi D.Jun 2016
We had a group of people coming together for a weekend meditation and healing retreat, and we found this place to be perfect. Peaceful, spacious, quiet and clean. Couldn't have asked for better. We really appreciated the later checkout option as well.
Dinorah S.May 2016
Great house to stay at for our holiday weekend! Great area. The only down side is how high up the mountain the cabin is which took a toll on the cars we brought up. I don't recommend planning activities that require you go down to the town or in our case Zion's National Park. And the second day we ran out of warm water for showering. But the next day everything was all better! Other than great experience! Beautiful view! And great hikes nearby
Thomas W.Mar 2016
Great house, with view to match. Family enjoyed the stay here. It was a nice getaway. Only issue was the fact that there was no grill. The property management dealt with it well, but still misleading based on the amenities listed on website. I still recommend this property.
We apologize for the confusion with the grill; the grill at this home is only available during the summer - we will be sure to place this information in the home's description.
Sondra W.Mar 2016
We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in this lovely cabin. It was a family of 10 from 4 years to 77. If we decide to do again we will request this lovely home. The location was beautiful.
Carol T.Feb 2016
We come to Brian Head every year for an Ice Fishing Derby at Panguitch Lake which is about 30 minutes from Brian Head. we had 6 adults in our group staying at Forced Family Fun. There was plenty of room for us all. There were a few issues, gas fireplace not working and coffee pot was old and coffee was not hot. Those were the biggest issues for us. And since it was below zero while we were there we wanted hot coffee and a fireplace. If they were to get those 2 issues fixed this would be 5 star..
Cecilia S.Oct 2015
That house is really great !!! Thank you very much for taking care of my group!!!
Ambree B.Oct 2015
We had a great time.. Kids had a great time exploring the hills and playing at the lake.. It was the perfect weather and we look forward to coming again soon
Sara R.Sep 2015
Loved staying here with our friends. Great space and layout! Property has great access to all the fun things Brianhead has to offer! Very clean property…only complaint was lack of hand soap and toilet paper. Very expensive to purchase and not something that is fun to run out of :( Otherwise, fabulous place!
Frank L.Aug 2015
Our family had an amazing time in this beautiful cabin. It was spacious, cozy and really felt like our home. The kitchen was well equipped, and there were lots of linens. The location is very convenient with great views of Brian Head ski area as well as privacy from the surrounding trees. My kids said they loved the experience of staying in the cabin and Brian Head more than Disneyland. Our stay was way too short, but we look forward to returning this dream cabin again in the near future.
Charliene R.Jul 2015
My sisters and mother and I stayed here for our annual "girls night out" in June 2015. We were really happy to see the tall trees in the area and on the lot. The home appears to have been recently renovated, and every surface was clean and in very good condition. The rooms were good-sized, the furniture and beds were were very comfortable.
Before reserving, I looked at several lodging options in the the Brian Head area. Upon comparing this cabin with similar sized units in the big lodge buildings, I found that this unit was comparable in cost, yet superior in size, accessibility, and privacy to other options on the mountain.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay.
Thank you for spending your special weekend with us at this beautiful cabin. We love to hear back that our guests were so impressed with the condition and comfort of the home. It is a great value and a wonderful spot for a family get away.
Karen F.Mar 2015
We loved our stay at this cabin, every one of my adult kids made an immediate comment about how cute it was. The floorplan for sleeping 4 couples and grandkids was perfect. Alot of places advertise alot of sleeping but it's mainly in bunkbeds. This was ideal for us and we really enjoyed our stay.
Thanks for this great review! We are happy to hear that this home was perfect for your stay.
Michael M.Dec 2014
The cabin was perfect for our family of 10. We are already planning on our next trip back.
