The first night the power went out. The second night the building was evacuated. I was not able to make contact with Vacasa to find out what was going on. The condo was outdated and furniture so uncomfortable we couldn’t sit on the couch.

This was my first booking with Vacasa and will be my last.

Thank you for your feedback, Kennetha. You were checking into the home as Hurricane Sally was heading our way; evacuation was mandatory for the safety of everyone. We had no power for 11 days or any signal for WiFi due to the hurricane and do apologize it made us slow to respond to and check in on our guests. We hope to have a chance to impress you in the future when the weather is better.

Great location & proximity to the beach. Kitchen nicely stocked, a/c & beds were nice. However, the wifi was awful...so weak we couldnt watch tv or easily game on our tablets at night. It’s a shared wifi system which didnt work (we had the continual hourglass of death!) as so many were on it in the evenings. For the price, this was unacceptable. Check-in instructions need to be clearer. The room door has a keypad not a key lock...be sure you get your code in advance as there’s no one to help sort out any difficulties. Room number sequence is: bld/flr/rm (not flr/rm). Hot tubs were empty (!) & there was no map of where to find things (ie: the indoor pool is in another bldg by parking lot!).
Take shoes to beach spot in afternoon as the sand & boardwalk are extremely hot!
Booked this via hotels.com & unlike prior bookings, their service/info was woeful in providing info on the unit & ammenities.

Nice condominium complex, pools were nice, easy beach access, even a restaurant in the building. Not crowded, a family-friendly scene in Fort Morgan as opposed to the party scene in Gulf Shores.
