Everything about this house exceed our expectations, from the spacious living room to the warm and inviting sun room.
Had a wonderful time
This house is exactly as it states in listing. We had a group of 4 couples and this house was perfect for our group. It was very clean & We all had our own bedrooms. We loved the fire pit and hot tub. They were very relaxing after long days of touring the area. My only suggestion is it would be helpful to have an information booklet with a list of local stores and a referral for local restaurants. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!
We had 3 families with a total of 4 little kids and 2 dogs and this house still felt cozy and big at the same time! The space was clean and comfortable and very accommodating. We really enjoyed the large outdoor space and the two living spaces to spread out and really make some memories! We will definitely be looking to book again in the future. Highly recommend!
We had a group of 5 guys up here from Thursday - Sunday. Great sleeping arrangements, plenty of space. The floor to ceiling picture windows really open the main house up and give you that cabin feel as you look out into the trees.
Great access to the town as well, only 10-20 minutes depending on where you’re going.
Beautiful home in a beautiful setting!! The view from the living room and master bedroom is amazing! Our family of 8 were all very comfortable in this spacious home. Some of furniture was a little dated, but comfortable, mixed with new sleeper couch and new large dining table, which was nice! With kitchen being newly updated. There is a King in master bedroom, which was comfortable. Queens in 2 of bedrooms, and a full on bottom and twin atop a bunk style in other bedroom. Having 3.5 bathrooms made it nice with with so many of us. The Grand Canyon was just 1.5 hour drive away, Sedona approximately 45-50 min, and Prescott 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hour drive. They were all beautiful! The Grand Canyon , Amazing!!! Overall our family had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the comforts of this home!! Would come back!
The home was very clean and easily accommodated the three family groups. There were ample bathrooms and sufficient seating for kids and adults to gather. The location is secluded which allowed plenty of play space for the kids. The large parking and hot tub were am added bonus. We would gladly return.
I liked the pictures of this home on the listing since I wasn't wanting to see one more dreary, dark log cabin with old furnishings but my husband and I also didn't want to pay $600 a night on this particular trip. This home was a very happy medium and was perfect for us to jaunt up to and bring our pups up for a 4 day weekend. We had slight issues with getting inside (as directions stated to use a lockbox by the garage). That lockbox didn't open to the given code and we waited for about 20 minutes before property management picked up the phone. However, thank goodness there was a keypad on the other side of the house that did work. We (and our German Shepherds) loved all the outdoor space around the home. We really liked that no neighbors were too close and we had privacy to just roam about outside with a hot cup of coffee and listen to the rustling of the many pines surrounding the property. Benefits included an updated kitchen, the cool Flagstaff temps, and the many windows with screens that let in lots of light and breezes. There is central A/C which helped when it got a little toasty during the day, and there is a cute sun room (which would likely be more usable in the winter months but it was a great feature). Netflix was available on the large living room TV, which was much appreciated. The owners also make sure the kitchen and bathrooms and laundry room are stocked nicely with necessities, cooking tools, supplies, etc. Master bedroom has 2 spacious his and hers closets. There is a hot tub outside, which we didn't use, but is a nice feature. The home, while having some dated aspects, felt clean, albeit pretty bare. The feedback we have to improve would be: lack of rugs (only one in the living room but the entire house has hardwood floors), no coverings in the master bedroom for the top windows (we try to sleep in on a mini vacay but here we were up with the sun), no side tables in the living room (there's a console table for the sofa, but if you use the 2 recliners there's nothing to set your drink on). The bedding throughout the home was a bit sub-par in my opinion, although I much appreciated having a firmer pillow option to choose from with the extra pillows in the master. I understand there's a fine line when you rent a home though....not everyone takes care of nicer things. Overall, it is a nice, spacious place. If I returned I would bring more in terms of things to do (card games, books, etc.) since with our pups we didn't want to go to town and leave them unattended so it does become a bit isolated. I appreciated the fact that everything was straight-forward with booking as well as inside the home. We've stayed in places where they have guides, lists, rulebooks, etc. While that's fine (I would likely be that type :)) ...This place was very relaxed, chill, and let us bring big dogs. That was the best, because they are our family. Thank you! -- Kristi C.
