The cabin is secluded, down a long-ish driveway with no neighbors. It was very clean; not a cobweb or dust bunny anywhere. The architecture/design of the cabin was beautiful, especially the unique spiral staircase and the decor was the perfect blend of rustic and eclectic. Plenty of nooks and crannies for our kids to explore and stocked with books, toys and games. The view through the large window in the living room was peaceful, with a clear view of the stream. The beds were comfortable. There is a Sirius XM radio in the living room and available wifi. We really enjoyed our stay and just wish we had gone when there wasn't so much snow so we could have enjoyed the yard, stream and fire pit. (The one suggestion I would make would be to change the ring holding up the shower curtain above the claw foot tub: the ring is very narrow and the shower curtains are plastic, and when wet they cling to every part of you that touches them. Especially if you are bending to shave your legs or wash your feet, there's no escaping it. It was maddening and claustrophobia inducing, like a National Lampoons scene kind of situation, LOL!!)

My wife and I stayed here for a week and loved it. This cabin is very remote yet still minutes to town. The first thing we noticed was how clean the cabin was. The cabin also had everything we needed. The power went out one night in the whole town but we were able to use the gas lights and there were flashlights and everything we needed. there is absolutely nothing negative to say about this place as it is well kept and very clean.

We had such an amazing experience. The cabin was wonderful. Everything was taken care for. We had no problems. The place is beautifully decorated and you have everything you need. The cabin is located away from any busy roads. it is surrounded by woods. It’s so peaceful. There is a nice trail that takes you to the lake. It is a perfect place to relax.
We would come back anytime .

I loved everything about the cabin I don’t have one bad thing to say. I will defiantly be booking another trip back to Maine.

Loved how quiet and remote it felt to stay here, even though I was only minutes from everything at Moosehead Lake. Very comfortable. Great kitchen.
