Luminous. Beautifully decorated. Very comfortable. Everything is clean, pretty. We loved this place and recommend it to everyone. Angels Alley is located close to an art gallery, a beautiful café and docks where you can buy fish and seafood. We bought the best scallops in town at Two Ladies Lobster and Sea Food on Thompson, two minutes from the apartment. Really, this place is a little paradise.

I had a lovely stay. The host was very friendly (even graciously told me not to back out of the driveway as it's a county road and apparently that's illegal to do. I appreciated her telling me!). The place was clean and the kitchen surprisingly well-equipped, which was great as I cooked at least one meal there every day. It's nice and private with a view looking out into greenery, and it's very quiet.

The only downside was how cold it got in the room. Granted, I mistook the space heater provided for a fan (our fan looks very similar) so I went without, and that was my bad! That undoubtedly would've made a difference, though an extra blanket on the bed would have as well. Also, phone reception is near non-existent (for my T-mobile phone anyway), and the internet hardly worked so I had to sit in my car to make most phone calls and drive into Damariscotta to use their internet. But I suspect most guests won't be trying to work while tucked away in this cute little get-away.
It's a great place with a kind host. Definitely recommended!

Loved Round Pond. My Great Great Grandmother was a Prentice. Her family owned the Round Pond Inn. It was a family hotel back in the day!!!

We have been coming to Bremen and Chamberlain for years but needed a place that was affordable in season and also would allow us to bring our 11 year old Australian Shepherd. Dani’s place was perfect and we very much enjoyed our 2 night stay. Teenage girls slept on the pullout couch and we took the twin with trundle. Very comfortable. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. Also enjoyed the grocery store, coffee shop and other shops across the street, all within walking distance of Dani’s and the Inn where our other family members stayed two doors down.
