Tucked away 5 minutes from Whitefish, 15 minutes from Glacier Natl Park - this is a lovely getaway! The house has different wings, allowing plenty of space to share or be alone. There is a lovely deck; hot tub, garden and fire pit.
Wendy was a lovely host, helpful when needed, absent otherwise. Wendy even left thoughtful gifts in her fully stocked kitchen for us.
I would highly recommend this home. Thank you so much for you kind hospitality. This is a gem of a find.

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting, perfect environment for a large Shepard who loved the huge fenced enclosure and the wonderful property owner who took time to play with him. Close to Whitefish and Glacier, walking trails within 2 miles.

We wanted a place to stay that would accommodate us and our dogs on a vacation. There were five of us, mom, dad, three kids, and two dogs. We drove in from Missouri. Having a destination where we could spread out and have enough rooms and beds so everyone had space as we spent time in the Park and doing various activities was key to us having a great vacation. We had originally made plans to board our dogs in town during the day, but when we arrived we found Wendy the owner and our host had a very large fenced in kennel where we could house our dogs during the days while we were out and Wendy checked in on them from time to time. She was very nice and good to work with. The house was wonderful. It is in a very private setting away from any neighbors but the extra cabin up the hill where Wendy stayed. The house is very nice and decorated in the Montana mountain experience. She has a trophy room that is over the top if you want to see some of the wild animals in the area up close. The hot tube was nice to hop into after a day of driving around the area. We loved the privacy. However, it was close enough to run into town and get groceries, access the Park, and various activities we did while on vacation. Her kitchen was well stocked with all the pots, pans, plates, cups, glasses and silverware to allow us to eat in for breakfast and dinner. She had a nice size stove, refrigerator, and dish washer to allow us to cook in and save some money vs eating out all the time. All in all we had a wonderful time visiting the area and staying at this house made it all the better in that it fit our needs and was very nice. In addition we had deer visit us just about every morning, and we think we heard a bear but never saw it, so you are very close to nature when staying at this location. It made you want to move to Montana. It was the Wright place for us to stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Whitefish. The home was lovely with such interesting art and decor, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we could need to cook, and the fenced dog yard was unexpected and greatly appreciated for our dogs to run around in. We enjoyed the hot tub, the peacefulness of being surrounded by trees, watching the deer and morning coffee or dinner out on the deck was perfection. The homeowner staying on site in another home was a new experience for us but she was sweet and thoughtful. Thank you!
