Dog-friendly, stunning bay front home with a private dock!

With a private dock on Lake Coeur d'Alene, as well as beach access, entertainment options, and a dog-friendly attitude, this lakefront Harrison vacation rental is a luxurious and comfortable place to escape from the stress of everyday life.

Nestled along the side of the famous Lake Coeur d'Alene, about 15 miles north of Harrison, this home has a secluded air and is surrounded by the beauty of nature. Walk down from the deck to reach a private beach area with a seasonal private dock where you can swim, boat, or relax on the sandy shore. Although you may feel like you're hundreds of miles away from civilization, Harrison is a quick 15-mile drive down the road, and you can reach Coeur d'Alene in 30 minutes by car or 10 minutes by boat!

With three bedrooms and two bathrooms spread out over three levels, this home features enormous windows that offer spectacular views of the lake. Walk into the main level to find a living room with seating where you can gaze at the scenery. Throughout the home you will have many entertainment options, including cable TV, DVD player, books, and board games, so nobody will be bored here!

A full kitchen is well-stocked with cooking tools and appliances, including extras like a waffle iron, blender, and a dishwasher for easy clean-up. Sit down together with your guests at the dining room table and breakfast bar to enjoy a nice, filling meal before heading out to the lake or to explore nearby cities.

You will have two full bathrooms and a convenient laundry area for use during your stay. The master bathroom has a large, luxurious jetted tub that is a perfect place for a relaxing bubble bath.

When it's time to head to bed, you have your choice of several different sleeping spaces. Two of the bedrooms feature a lovely full-size bed, the third master room has a cozy queen size bed, there are a sofabed folds out into another bed. Altogether there are sleeping spaces for eight guests, though we welcome up to 10 people as long as you bring a few sleeping bags or are comfortable sleeping on a couch.

Additionally, this home is dog-friendly and you are welcome to bring your beloved dogs with you on vacation! See the pure joy on your dog's face as he splashes around the shallows of the lake - though a nightly fee per dog and minimum fee per stay will apply.

Outside, three decks provide ample spaces to enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake. If you walk down a few sturdy sets of stairs, you will reach the private beach area. Here you can wriggle your toes in the sand, wade around the shallow water, or even do a cannonball into the lake from the end of the dock!

Light up the provided gas grill to cook up a lovely meal of burgers or grilled chicken for everyone, then walk down to the beach and use the firepit to roast some marshmallows for a sweet ending to a fun-filled day of vacationing.

Because this home has so many relaxing features inside, amazing views, and the lake right outside, you may be content to spend your entire vacation at this property. With swimming, boating, and fishing opportunities so close, you will want to enjoy the spectacular location of this home.

If you feel like exploring the area, you can drive down to Harrison to find a few restaurants, or travel up to spectacular Coeur d'Alene for even more options (this property is idealy located between both cities)- There you will find no shortage of fabulous restaurants, shops, galleries, and parks to explore. You could go golfing, book a spa treatment, grab lunch, then walk around the charming downtown area.

For guests who prefer to explore the great outdoors, you can find amazing hiking, biking, boating, and even skiing within an easy day trip. The fabulous Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes, which runs for more than 70 miles, passes right through Harrison and will delight any cyclists in your group. With spectacular views in every direction, this region of Idaho is known for its natural beauty and refreshingly clean air.

We had a wonderful stay - unbeatable views and space for outdoor entertainment. It would be best suited for 3 couples/6 adults as the pullout couch is quite dated but there is no shortage of space for relaxing. Spend all your time at the beach and on the dock - this location is made for making memories.

The house was great but it would help if they updated the photos they make you believe there is firewood down at the beach but in reality there is none other then that had a real good time

The view, the convenience and the amenities were great. However, the sheets were really stinky and dingy and there was dirty dishes left from the previous guests.

We sincerely apologize if housekeeping missed a few things while cleaning this home. We wish the guest had called for assistance so we could have rectified the matter.

This is a nice house with a nice beach and great dock. The area between the beach and dock is a great one to wade/walk in or float around. The dock worked great for our boat and also for swimming from.
There are a lot of steep stairs from the house down to the water so I wouldn't recommend if you have small children or knee issues.
The temperature was in the mid-90's while we were there and with only 1 window A/C unit, the house was warm/hot, which made sleeping tough.

This house was comfortable for 6 guests. Our only complaint was it was high 90s-100 degrees while we were there and only one air conditioning unit in the home. It was hot every night and the house didn't cool down much. If your considering staying in really hot weather conditions I would not recommend this home. Otherwise it was great. Lake access and beautiful views. The stairs can be long for anyone that may not be in great shape also it's a long trek to the dock.

We had a very relaxing stay at Chateau du Lac. The house is very comfortable and spacious with plenty of seating inside and on decks. The property is located in a quiet and peaceful area of the lake with little boat traffic and beautiful mountain views. Great beach area with dock, fire pit and stone seating area.

Enjoyed the piece and quite for a few days, great views from all three decks. A thunder storm blew in, which provided a surreal light show. Would have loved to have been there during the summer for fun on and in the water at your own private dock and beach.

Beautiful Cabin, perfectly located. Very easy to just pull your boat right to the dock, tie it up, and come and go as you please. Bonefires at night are wonderful and the beach and dock can easily soak up your days; playing in the water and paddle boarding around the inlet. All cooking utensils are in the cabin, so just bring your food and your good to go! My family had a wonderful time and we are already planning our next trip there.
