The location was perfect.
My wife and I stayed with our 4 kids (10, 7, 3, 1) and we had an amazing time. Location is great, and the property is great.
I wish there were some curtains upstairs to click the street light and with wish there was a latch high on the front door to keep our 3 year old locked in the house, but besides that we really didn’t have any problems. Lots of towels, and plenty of space.
The neighbor complained one night that the bathroom fan was keeping her awake, and that was our only interaction with anyone in the complex. The beach right in front of the property is mostly rocks, but maybe 20 yards down it’s all sand (down by the water, there is plenty of sand closer to the road.)
We would for sure stay here again.
Unit #1 looks right onto the beach/Strand and is a lovely unit perfect for our family of 5 and dog! Very well kept unit, quiet community and close to pier and restaurants.
We spent a week at this property, and enjoyed it a lot! It was spacious, clean, and a great location. There were only a few down sides, but it didn't take away from the fun.
The week we visited, the harbor was dredging the sand and the pipes ran all along the beach in front of the house. It is a yearly thing that we didn't know about, so all the early morning heavy machinery going back and forth on the road could be a little loud. We still had fun on the beach with the kids and took walks to the pier. The upstairs can get pretty warm with the sun roof and lack of windows to open, so keep the fans on all the time to help. Word of warning, there is a street light that shines directly in the sun roof, so if light affects your sleep, you might want to sleep in the opposite bed. The description of features says it doesn't have wifi, but it does, so that was a good discovery. There are also a couple of air mattresses in the upstairs closet, along with a futon and sofa bed in the livingroom. Lots of extra pillows, but not so many blankets. They might supply them if you ask. There are also plenty of DVDs, and magazines, and a smart tv to add to your things to do. We also discovered that one of the sinks in the upstairs bathroom wasn't working, but after a call from maintenance, they said they knew about the problem and had the repair scheduled after we checked out.
We wished a few beach toys were available, but we went to the dollar store and grabbed a few for our grandkids. We left a ball in hopes that it would stay there for any future kids to play with.
The kitchen is well stocked, and that was great as we decided to cook many of our meals. The grocery store is just down the road a little way so it is very convenient.
All in all, we will definitely be back. It was a great location, and the people in the complex are very friendly.
