Our family loved this house. There are some recent reviews that seem to indicate that it's run down or in disrepair; but it isn't. It *is* an older house; but we found it charming -- it reminded us of visiting our grandparents in terms of decor. I think if you're expecting new construction and modern decor for what this place charges, VRBO might not be the place for you. It was a nice house at a very good price.

We loved how much room there was, the absolutely wonderful views (front and back) and that there were bigger spaces that the whole family (or your group of 8 if you choose) can all hang out together and/or apart.

The house has a lot of land around it, so when you're sitting on the porch, you just see a few other neighbors and lots of wildlife. At the same time, a run into town was less than five minutes.

The house is well stocked; you'll want to bring some toilet paper and paper towels if you're going to be there more than a couple of days, though. There were plenty of dishes/glasses/etc and I had no problem finding the pots and pans I needed to cook with.

There was plenty of comfy furniture and, if you're like me and need about ten pillows to be comfy, rest assured that the house is more than amply stocked with linens and towels.

The only thing I would mention -- and I need to clarify that the owners did NOTHING wrong -- is that there is no A/C in the house. They don't say there is A/C, so they aren't misleading anyone; if we had read the details better, we would have known. I only bring it up so that if it doesn't occur to you that there would be a house on VRBO without A/C, be aware that this one does not. It wasn't a real problem because temperatures were pretty nice when we were there; but I think we would all have been a little happier if we could have cooled off some more. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a complaint about the landlords because they rented us exactly the house that was in the description. I just mention it so you'll be aware and, if A/C is a big deal for you, move along past this one.

The other thing is that the dishwasher should be updated/replaced. That was the one thing in the house that we would call a negative. We had to hand wash about 30% of the dishes that came out of the machine because they were still dirty.

Overall, I think this house is a great value and, next time we're up here, we'll hope to rent this one again.

This lovely home feels like it's far away from town but it actually overlooks the visitor center. Beautiful neighborhood and views off the back deck. Everything we needed for our week stay in Estes Park.

This home was clean and very close to restaurants, Lake Estes, hiking. The porch was also really nice we saw elk.

We found this house to be within 10 minutes of everything we wanted to visit! But Mother Nature seemed to of showed up in our back yard! Deer, chipmunks, hummingbirds and coyotes ! Lovely place to set outside and enjoy the view

The house is located near downtown, but with a real mountain feel and great views. The house is older but well maintained. The back deck is great for grilling out dinner and watching the hummingbirds.
