We enjoyed our stay so much. It was clean and just down right cozy. You will love all the little extra touches that the owners have done so you enjoy your stay. Loved it all! ❤️

simple no frills cabin. Clean and good for 4 people max

Loved the location of this cabin. Very cute accommodations, excellent outdoor area, fireplace, tv, and kitchen. Best part was the grill! When I showed up there was some things to be addressed, Vacasa was very helpful and sent someone out the next morning.
The reason this isn’t 5 stars is because the couch is pretty gross looking and stained. We used towels to sit on it which was great because they have many towels stocked!
Oh one more thing, don’t forget to bring gallons of water because there is no filtered water! Luckily, the general store is not far down the road.

Needed a quiet get away. Perfect location.

Our first time using Vacasa and everything was straightforward and easy though there wasn’t a person you could email or call with questions. The cabin is super cute with two bedrooms one bath. The kitchen was decent though we had to get used to the electric stovetop. The sectional was comfortable enough to sleep on and the tv was awesome. But we were really there for the deck and outdoors. We loved the gas fire pit on the deck and I was really tempted to start a fire in the other fire pit but was paranoid about fire danger. We would have given this a five star but for two things. One was the one bed which sagged in the middle. We had to move to the other bed. We highly recommend a new mattress. The other bummer was that we had one roll of very thin toilet paper (Very friendly for the septic system) for 4 days there. And we are two women so need tp more often than men. We would have brought our own had we known we only had one roll. Other than that, our stay was great and we would definitely recommend this place.

I give three stars because it is a beautiful, cozy place that we highly enjoyed until the power went out. To try and make a long story short: everything in this place is run on electricity. If the power goes out you cannot even keep warm with the 'wood' stove because guess what? It's electric. Since a large tree fell in front of the car during a snow storm we were stranded nearly 24 hours without cell service, or phone of any kind, no hot water, no way to cook, and NO heat. By the time a local firefighter came by and helped us out we were stuck without power for 23 hours and huddling in every blanket and still freezing. It was 39 degrees inside the cabin and rapidly getting colder. Other than not being prepared for real mountain situation like the power going out, it is a really nice place
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Kristy. While we are glad you appreciated the home's great features ,we sincerely apologize for the unforeseen circumstances affecting your stay. We are glad emergency services were able to provide the needed assistance and we will work with our team and homeowner to identify potential updates and additions to the home's provisional supplies. We hope to host you for a great stay in the future!

This is a really comfortable house. It’s private, has a nice size lot. The gas “wood” stove is fantastic. The wi-fi is great. The location is perfect.

The cabin is surrounded by giant trees. Easy to find and spacious. It has a well appointed kitchen and is a short drive from a organic grocery in Murphy.

This cozy cabin has everything needed for a lovely stay. We were caught in an unexpected cold weather storm in late May and were amazed that the home even had an ice scraper /brush for the car. There were plenty of games and things to watch to keep busy for the day we were snowed in. Home looks exactly like the pictures online. Beautiful location, close to everything but also a peaceful retreat.

Was a cozy little cabin, perfect for our family of 4, plus the dog. Very comfortable with everything we needed to make it feel like home. Very clean and would stay here again.

We loved the charm of this cabin. It made us feel very welcome and at home. The decor is beautiful and very cozy. We will definitely stay again. It was perfect for our trip to Bear Valley and is close enough to the lake that we're planning to stay in the summer too.
