Spend a fabulous vacation in this one-bedroom Resort at Squaw Creek getaway, being pampered and well-taken care. Perfect for ski trips (there's even ski-in/ski-out access!) with friends or a summer retreat with your sweetie, you'll never want to leave this Squaw Valley vacation rental. (Please note that upon check-in, the resort will collect a $45 per night resort fee directly from guests.)

After a day on the slopes, you'll love coming back and fixing your favorite hot beverage in the basic kitchen. Set yourself up in front of the gas fireplace with snacks or a few books. Use the WiFi to check email (or not). The large flat screen TV with cable provides entertainment on lazy evenings when you just want to stay inside and enjoy the cozy living room with bay windows looking out over the mountains.

The bedroom has its own flat screen TV and a king-sized bed - a great place to get a good night's sleep or take an excellent nap. The bed is so comfortable you may just want to stay in it and read the paper, or play the crossword, or have a marathon of your favorite shows. Including the sleeper sofa in the living room, this suite sleeps four people comfortably.

On nights you'd rather eat out, there are five restaurants serving everything from fancy Pacific salmon at the Six Peaks Grill, pastries and coffee at Sweet Potatoes Deli, or signature burgers, salads, and local microbrews at Sandy's Pub.

This ski-in/ski-out condo offers full utilization of the resort's private chairlift, which means no waiting in long lines! Nordic and snowshoe enthusiasts will enjoy the extensive trails and a great variety of rental equipment. Zoom along on a snowmobile, or take it down a notch on a sleigh ride.

Unit #228 was quite cozy and comfortable. The view out the living room window was so peaceful and relaxing. The gas fire place was a surprise and provided some warmth and ambiance. The resort itself is amazing and we will definitely be back. The only unfavorite feedback I can give about the unit was a light bulb in the bedroom was out and the refrigerator was a bit noisy when running. I highly recommend this unit!

We love the resort at Squaw Creek. Unfortunately some of the restaurants were closed. Overall a wonderful time at the resort.

You can't beat this resort for quick access to the lift at Squaw Valley. The condos are small but comfortable. There is a stove but only 2 burners so you can make breakfast but I would not try an elaborate meal b/c limited cooking utensils etc. The resort however has great restaurants or take the shuttle to the village. The pool and hot tubs are a huge bonus as well.

Beautiful place, beautiful stay!

No housekeeping, no amenities restocking, we were there for 3 days. Construction during our stay woke up up every morning.
We couldn't keep the windows open because of the construction noise. Pathways, entrances and gates were blocked by construction making it more difficult to get to the pool area. No mention in the Vacasa listing about any of those issues. We spent $500 to stay there, Vacasa upcharged us for $88 because of the dates we picked.
It was a disappointing and expensive mistake to book this property #228 Squaw Creek
Manager response:
Hi Eugene, thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the disappointing stay you had in our home. Going forward, we will make sure to notify our guests of construction that might disrupt their stay. We don’t offer daily housekeeping or restocking of amenities, as we encourage our guests to treat our home as they would their own. We regret that you were disappointed with the price of your reservation. We hope to have another chance to impress you.

Enjoyed our stay--good valley view from suite. In need of minor upgrades, but overall a very comfortable room at an affordable rate for this resort

This is a wonderful resort with three restaurants, multiple pools and jacuzzis, and the surrounding grounds and golf course are breathtaking in the summer. The condo was attractive and clean. Highly recommend.

Perfect ski-in, ski-out location. Pool and hot tubs amazing! Kids love the water slide. Restaurants located right near outdoor play area for the kids. A must stay at Squaw. This unit could use a new mattress on it pull-out! My kids could hardly sleep on it.

Wonderful resort and room. Would have given 5 stars if room supplies (coffee pods, etc) were restocked and trash emptied daily.
Karla O. Jan 2019
We had a great stay, the condo was fantastic and the resort was phenomenal as well! We had a great time and look forward to booking again in the future!

Stocked nicely with kitchenette supplies, large bathroom, other amenities. The Resort is wonderful: pool and several jacuzzis, great spa area with steam and sauna rooms, beautiful view.

The wife and I had an amazing weekday stay. The facility is extremely upscale without being pretentious. Staff is stellar across the board. Be sure to see Amanda Mattingly in the Sandys pub for amazing cocktails and friendly local knowledge. (a pub with house made sauces and chips=awesome!) We stayed during a slow period and recommend you do the same if your schedule allows, having this place to yourself for a week is truly special. Oh yea, the valley is unreal, easily my favorite place in the entire Tahoe area. Bring your bikes!!

Very nice accommodations and location.
Maksim M. Mar 2018
The apartment isn’t that spacious even for a family of 3. It seemed like being too busy with all that bulky furniture and stuff. The sleeping sofa in the living room had a horrible thin matress with loud piercing springs. Sleeping there wasn't comfortable at all. The robes for whatever reason were different than other resort tenants had, and were few sizes down (i looked like a clown when put it on to check out the jacuzzi ). There was a problem with the heat insulation as well as cold air was getting through the window frame in the bedroom. For a three night stay we had only 4 bath towels. Besides these little things, it is a nice spot with great service, amenities and location.
Manager response:
As all of the items mentioned are controlled by the HOA, we have passed this information along to them. We hope to have some things resolved soon. Thanks!

The condo is comfortable and in good condition, and benefits from an excellection location.

Great stay at Squaw Creek as always.
No regrets.

A one BR suite with galley kitchen. Valley view. 2nd floor. Near stairs and elevator.
Proximity to the Squaw Creek lift, shuttle van service and the ski check service is major convenience.

We wanted to get away for the weekend with our one year old. This place was perfect! very family friendly! Would come again for sure!

I had never heard of or used Vacasa for third party travel booking. They had best selection of rooms, prices and user friendly platform. Was a bit hesitant to pull the trigger, but pleasantly surprised with the outcome. All was just as advertised and process was super easy. Only issue was housekeeping services at the property, not sure if this is a result of the resort overlooking us or of using a third party vs. direct. I would definitely use Vacasa again.

Thank you for a seamless and effortless experience. The room was perfect, with easy access from the elevator and a nice outlook to the mountains. Really, a very nice accommodation which made our trip. We will certainly return.
Nehal S. Mar 2016
We had a wonderful stay at this great location in Squaw. The separate bedroom came in handy as we had two young kids with us. Excellent amenities at the hotel. We look forward to returning!
Vernona B. Mar 2016
We are repeat customers and love to stay "on campus". We walk out the door, grab our skies and get on the lift. You don't have the noise of the snow removal etc that you do over in the village. Truly our favorite place to stay!!!

We visit Resort at Squaw annually. This was the first time we stayed in room 228 with Vacasa! Super experience! Very easy and Vacasa staff were attentive!

Thank you for everything. The condo was great with plenty of room and a great bedroom. Can't wait to try it out again but with snow next time...
