Spacious cabin w/shared pool & private hot tub- close to ski slopes
You have found the perfect mountain getaway with this gorgeous cabin tucked in the woods near the splashing Sandy River. The cabin has just been updated and has a very cozy atmosphere with an open floor plan and 25-foot ceilings with exposed wood beams. It has a lovely patio for enjoying the sounds of the forest and a wood stove for warming up on cool nights, as well as a shared pool and private hot tub.
Conveniently located off of Highway 26, this cabin is only 42 miles outside of Portland and only 14 miles from Government Camp and Ski Bowl. Fishing and swimming at Sandy River is within easy walking distance while the Sandy Ridge Trail System is a short drive away. Timberline Lodge and more opportunities for skiing are an easy 20 miles away.

We were thrilled with this generously proportioned space with a log cabin design. Clean and nicely laid out, appliances worked very well. Convenient for touring all the way around Mount Hood and into Columbia Gorge. Would definitely recommend to friends and come back ourselves. Thanks Todd for rapid responses.
Very cute cabin on a quiet lot near the river and tucked away in the forest! The hot tub was amazing. Everything was clean and there were plenty of towels and pillows! This visit at the cabin was the most relaxing part of our trip to portland.
This cabin is a perfect little mountain get-a-way. It’s clean and cozy. Our family enjoyed it and we’d likely stay again some day.
This was an amazingly cozy cabin that we thoroughly enjoyed! The hot tub was an added bonus, and we spent a lot of time in it! There was a river in walking distance that had a trail,
Great cabin! Loved the coziness of the logs, how clean it all was, and the hot tub. Great quite neighborhood too! Overall we had a super family vacation with this as our base!
I can't rave too much about this charming little cabin for my own self-interest to be sure I can still stay here in the future! We had a blast in the space and will definitely stay here again.
Loved our 2 night stay at this cozy cabin! Traditional log cabin had all the necessities we needed and an amazing back porch with fairy lights and the hot tub. The cabin was easy to get to from Portland and also located right down the road (walking) from the Mt Hood Express stop - we didn’t have a car and it wasn’t a problem. There’s only one taxi co in the area but they’re convenient and reliable. Would recommend this place to anyone! Planning on coming back during the summer months :)
Perfect weekend get away cabin! Great for families!
Perfect mountain getaway for our family and friends!
This cabin was perfect. It was easy to find, close to shops and restaurants, and only 20 minutes to the mountain. We loved the interior and the outdoor patio with the hot tub.
Fantastic space - amazing cabin experience. Had everything we needed. Kids loved the hot tub. Would highly recommend.
Cute cabin, great location, just enough space. Had enough kitchen equipment to cook some simple meals. Being winter it took a while for the cabin to heat up when we got there, but that is as to be expected. Not much sound privacy between the bedrooms and bathrooms so keep that in mind. But we had an incredible stay and will consider staying again in the future. Thanks!
Great place, gorgeous location, sparkling clean. Wonderful trip overall.
Nice space, clean with good amenities, nice hot tub
The home was so warm and welcoming, a warm fire and lit candles made it so cozy! The hot tub and outdoor lights added an extra relaxing touch after coming back from the mountain. Check in was quick and easy and Todd was quick with responding to my questions. It was a great little getaway!
We had a great stay at Todd’s place. Everything was as he said it would be and he was a great host and great at communicating and hooking us up! We love it and definitely would recommend to friends and come back! Thanks Todd
My family of 5 had a pleasant stay at Todd's cabin. Everything was sparkling clean and easy to figure out. I really enjoyed the spacious kitchen. The hot tub was huge and very pleasant. I was pleasantly surprised by eco friendly soap and samples of shampoo and condition. All the towels were folded in fancy folds which I always find fun :) The beds all had down comforters (my favorite!) so we all slept very warmly. The cabin was not far from snow. It took us about 25 minutes to get to our favorite snow place (past Timberline). One thing to consider is that the vaulted ceiling causes all sound from the tv to echo everywhere. Another thing is there is no DVD player for the tv which we found disappointing as we had brought a bunch of dvd's to watch (our custom when we stay in a cabin) Overall, a very nice stay! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!
This cabin is in an awesome location and was more than we even expected! Todd has everything you need and the cabin is extremely clean and decorated really cute. The Sandy River is located behind the cabin and only a short walk from the house. There are restaurants and grocery stores only a short drive away in case you need anything. Todd was awesome and check in was very easy. Would definitely recommend this to friends and hope to come back one day!
Todd's cabin is cozy, stylish, and updated. It was a wonderful place of respite after a snowy day up at Timberline.
We skiied at the Mt. Hood all day and came back to sprnd the 2 nights. Kids loved the cabin. all was great!
Excellent accommodations, we spent the weekend after Thanksgiving and we had a wonderful time. There were little touches that we really appreciated that made the stay very nice. One of the BEST rentals that we have stayed in. The bedding was nice quality 5+ stars.
We spent Thanksgiving at the Cabin and had an awesome time. The space was lovely, cozy, and perfect for cooking and enjoying each others company! We even took a frigid plunge in the river! Our only complaint is that our stay was too short! Would highly recommend!
Comfy, cozy, impeccably upkept cabin! Loved the fireplace, accessibility to good hiking trails, tons of space, and easy instructions.
Wow. this place is amazing! it has all the cooking utensils you need with an amazing grill, decor, and space! it’s right next to a grocery store and there’s countless hikes around the area. the neighborhood is quite and beautiful. The river near by is awesome to see on an early morning walk with a cup of coffee. I love Mt.Hood!!!
This cabin was perfect for us: 3 adults and 1 toddler. The open kitchen, dining room, living room was great for hanging out and we loved playing games and having meals at the big table. The front porch and back deck are wonderful spaces to hang out. We were impressed by the extras on hand like hot cocoa and stacks and stacks of games. We'll be back!
What a great home! Location was good and close enough to restaurants etc if we needed anything. It is in a small neighborhood but it was super quiet and still what we wanted for a cabin in the woods. We wish we could have stayed longer!
Great cabin and great host. Todd was easy to communicate with and very responsive to any questions. All instructions were clear and simple. The cabin itself was well stocked with everything for our family of 5 - from the kitchen, to blankets and towels, we had everything we needed during our stay. Decor was tasteful and simple, as well as kid-friendly. Located in a small, quiet neighborhood just off the main highway, it was easy to find and a perfect base as we explored the area (Mirror Lake, Trillium Lake, etc), including the Salmon River just a short 1/4 mike walk away. Highly recommended!
Awesome house! The house was fully stocked with everything you could need. The cabin was very relaxing and comfortable to hang out in. Great location to easy access to the whole mountain. Definitely planning on staying there again!
