The house is very well located but dated, and it had many details that are not appealing like stains from leaks in the ceiling, the shower in the master bathroom did not work. It was not really clean, the glass table in the sun room had not been cleaned, in the second bedroom upstairs there was dirt behind the bed, the dishwasher had a pod in the soap compartment that seemed to have been there for ages, one of the windows in the living room was broken and could not open, and the house overall was stuffy/smelly. Helen is amazingly beautiful however, this house was not really appealing. We did check-out a night earlier.

A comfortable lovely environment. Close enough to everything, yet quiet enough to relax. Nice couches. Beds were ok. Separate coffee area was nice to have. Cleaning supplies easily accessible, and lots of room for the food we brought for snacks etc. The chairs inside and out were hard and uncomfortable, so I would bring my own next time. I probably will not say in warmer weather as the 74 degree inside air being set made it about 80 in the bedroom - way to warm for me, but I could totally handle it in the winter.
The screened in porch was fabulous and I loved that we were at the end of the creek where you could get in without all the tubing guests from up stream.
