Deer Path is in a gated subdivision and has all the comforts of home. I found it very clean at check in, comfortable furniture and quality bedding. Like the open floor plan on 1st floor and quiet bedrooms on lower level. Great for unplugging from busy times!

Everything about our trip and Cabin was just perfect. The staff, the cabin, the parking....Everything!!!

The place was clean and tidy except for the horrible strong smell of dog urine. It’s stated on the website that this was not a pet friendly rental which drove me to it. But after getting there I say that I was misinformed. The home reeked horribly and had traces of dog everywhere. If you stepped out the back door you had to watch to not step in the piles of dog feces that were in the fenced in area under the deck. If it wasn’t for that this would be a nice place. Also would help if they could get the heat to where when you cut it on it didn’t automatically shut off in the middle of the night so you didn’t have to wake up to 40 below temperatures. Also, the propane fireplace did not work either. For an anniversary trip, it didn’t go over to well. After making a call to Vacasa and email I got a response that the home hadn’t been used in a while so it had a stuffy smell. But that was far from a stuffy smell.
Manager response:
We are very sorry about these issues an wish our guest had called for assistance. This home is definitely not dog friendly, and we are unsure of where any trace of dog would have come from. Housekeeping will keep an eye on the yard for dog feces, and the carpets have been shampooed recently. We have taken care of the thermostat setting and fireplace. Thank you!

I would not recommend staying at this home if you have a small car. The winding road and the steep hills was very scary. When we arrived the house was musty-smelling. And then we went downstairs and there was a big bleach stain on the master bedroom carpet. After a long day I went to take a bath to find out that the tub was stopped up and the lights in the master bedroom did not work. After I contacted Va c a s a , they referred me to the management company. The company sent out a maintenance person but the manager was very rude. When I asked to speak with her supervisor, she was not available so I asked that she have her supervisor contact me. I have yet to hear from her or him. This was our anniversary weekend and it did not start off very well.
